Taking care of two dogs can be a lot, but Jessica handled everything so well and made the whole process stress-free for us She kept us updated regularly with pictures and messages, and it was clear the dogs were getting tons of love, attention, and care every single day. One of our dogs is usually cautious around new people and was completely adamant about not warming up to anyone at first but by mid week, they had become best buddies. Seeing that level of trust and comfort honestly meant so much to us. When we got home, the dogs were so happy, relaxed, and attached to her routine that it actually took them almost 10 minutes to realize we were back! That alone says everything about how comfortable and cared for they felt during the stay. About: I enjoy taking care of all animals, especially cats and dogs. I am a full time elementary school teacher. I have experience administering medications, as my family's golden retriever suffered from Lyme disease for years. I also have some experience taking care of kittens, as well as training puppies. In the past I have owned various small animals including hamsters, hermit crabs, and fish. I look forward to meeting your furry friend! I work full time, and my availability changes, but with some planning ahead, we can find a schedule that works for both of us. My current booking time is three days in advance. About: I am an occupational therapy graduate student and an animal lover. I do not have a fur baby of my own at the moment due to my moving around, but whenever family or friends need someone to watch their pet, I am always the one they ask! For the summer, I am taking online courses with asynchronous work allowing for a flexible schedule. I work a respite care job on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; other than that, I am free. It is important to keep your pets as comfortable as possible. I am attentive to any special instructions regarding medication or diet. As an OT student, I have a lot of experience in caregiving and am patient. I also provide updates and photos to owners, so they know what their pets are up to!

About: I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember, and I have experience with dogs and cats of all kinds. I have a deep respect for all animals, including those that are shy or have special needs, and I'm committed to giving every animal the care they deserve. I'm available on most weekends and holidays. I occasionally have weekdays open as my work schedule allows and I will have Fridays available for part of the summer. When introducing myself I allow the animal to approach me first, I take things slow if they're shy or nervous. I'm familiar with dog and cat body language so I can recognize signs of stress. When walking dogs I'm always aware of my surroundings and will adjust the route if I need to.
