“Brigid was perfect for my older dog Scout. She is very loving and attentive. Scout seemed very content with Brigid, who kept me updated with photos and videos. I couldn't have asked for a better sitter for Scout.”

“The dog was happy and healthy when we picked him up, and we received a photo with update on Friday. I can’t complain, and I don’t understand the barking to know the dog can so I assume everything is good.”
“Lori was amazing and took excellent care of our dog for an overnight stay. We discovered that our dogs had met, walking at Capital Hills and had hit it off right away, so that was an added bonus. But I immediately felt very comfortable and when I dropped Clover off, I truly felt like I was leaving her with a friend. Clover came home clean, happy and exhausted. I can't recommend Lori enough and would absolutely reach out to her again when the need arises. Thank you, Lori!”

“I really cannot say enough about how amazing Patty is! She was super flexible when it came to our boy Atlas when I was pregnant and still sent daily updates! I will never leave Atlas with anyone else!”

“Wife was very nervous leaving her baby with someone new while we went on vacation. Cache was wonderful with daily updates and pictures/videos. Would definitely recommend her and be a repeat client.”

“Jayla was sooo sweet with my boy! He has separation anxiety and I can tell Jayla was very attentive and gave the best care for him. Can't thank Jayla enough:)”
“I was so anxious about leaving my senior dog because we are rarely ever apart but the entire experience was amazing. I got so many updates throughout each day and it was clear that he was living his BEST life. I am so happy that I know I have a great place where Ted is happy and well cared for that I can leave him without having to worry at all.”

“Maggie was great. I received pictures and updates during my pups stay which made it super comfortable leaving my Blu with her and will definitely book her again. I could tell she really loves dogs and I can't thank her enough for providing a safe place for my pup while I went on vacation.”

“Samantha and her partner were absolutely amazing. They are the best sitters I have met by far. I 10000/10 recommend. Samantha updated me throughout my dog's stay. I will definitely rebook.”

About: 🐾 I’m absolutely obsessed with cats—and honestly, that’s the biggest reason I’m here. Rover isn’t just a side thing for me… I genuinely love spending time with cats and getting to know all their unique personalities. At home, I care for three cats of my own, so I understand everything from playtime energy to quiet, independent moods. I’m also known locally as a stray cat feeder and caretaker, and I always keep cat food in my car—because you truly never know when a hungry kitty might need help. Caring for animals isn’t something I “turn on”—it’s just part of who I am every day. While cats are my specialty, I’ve recently been spending more time around dogs as well and have become increasingly comfortable and confident with them. I’m patient, attentive, and quick to adapt to different temperaments, whether your pet is energetic, shy, or somewhere in between. When you trust me with your pet, you’re getting someone who is: ✔️ Reliable & responsive ✔️ Gentle, patient, and detail-oriented ✔️ Experienced with multiple-cat households ✔️ Truly passionate about animal care I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own—with love, respect, and close attention to their needs. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, medication, or just keeping them company, I’ve got it covered. I’m also very flexible and able to travel, so feel free to reach out with whatever you need—I’m happy to make it work!! Pet care fits perfectly into my routine. I recently bought a house here in Albany, so it’s just me and my studies now — which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to devote to caring for your cats. As a law student, my classes are only on Mondays and Wednesdays, so the rest of the week I’m fully available to spend quality time making sure your cat (or cats!) get the love, attention, and care they need. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping your cat’s routine consistent and stress-free. That means fresh food and water on schedule, a clean litter box, and plenty of playtime and affection — whether that’s cuddles, brushing, or just quiet company if your cat prefers space. I always make sure to respect your home, follow your instructions closely, and send regular updates so you know your pet is happy and safe. If I’m welcoming a cat into my own home, I create a calm, cozy environment with safe spaces for them to explore or retreat to, depending on their personality. I treat every cat as if they were my own — with patience, attentiveness, and lots of love.

“We couldn’t have been happier with our first experience leaving our dog with Kyle. Her love of dogs is obvious. She took such good care of him and kept in regular contact with us with pictures and videos. He came home happy and unstressed. Actually, I’m not sure he wanted to come home 😆. We definitely recommend her!”

“Samantha did a great job taking care of my dog, who was adopted during COVID. She was never able to stayed together with another dog before, and I haven’t sent her away before for more than half a day. PomPom stayed at a commercial dog care place for half a day before, and she was miserable there. But Samantha did something magic. I was kept updated by pictures and videos from Samantha, and was so happy to see that my shy anti-social girl appeared to be very happy with Samantha. Definitely recommend Samantha and I’m sending my dog back soon when our family is out for 1 week vacation.”

“Sheronda was great! Communicated often with us, sent us lots of great photos of our dog, and did a great job socializing him with the other dogs (making him comfortable). She has a great back yard (fenced in), with lots of great areas to walk dogs. Overall we are super pleased, will be booking with them again!”

“Excellent, excellent, excellent! Vera where were you when my children were in daycare??! Your professionalism is outstanding! My family and I truly appreciate you and the care you give our fur baby! Thank you again. We will see you soon.”

“Couldn’t ask for a better and more reassuring experience!! Sylva and Mark are a great couple and went out of their way not only making Oliver comfortable but also understanding our concern for this first time boarding. They sent us several pictures and Oliver obviously had no problem making himself at home. He’ll be spending a weekend with them later this month.”

“Sara is fantastic! Our cats were so well cared for and we appreciated the updates while we were away. It’s wonderful to have such a reliable and pet-loving sitter to look after them!”

“This was a great experience. She did a super job taking care of my 2 kitties! Nina sent plenty of updates, pictures and texts. Absolutely no hesitations booking her next time. Both house and kitties were well cared for while I was away. I definitely recommend her! ;)”

“Deb was awesome! She watched our kitty for two days and then we ended up staying a day longer due to family issues and without a problem we were able to extend an extra day! Deb was very attentive to our kitties needs. I recommend!”

“Bradley was the perfect pet sitter. He was communicative and responsive and treated my home with respect. He sent frequent updates and pictures of my cat. He even helped out when the cat went missing unexpectedly, offering to look for him and lending a cat carrier. I will be using Bradley again for sure and I recommend you use him for your pet needs too!”

About: Think cats aren't trainable? I’m here to change that. As a professional animal trainer, I specialize in feline behavior and welfare. My own therapy cat, Athena, has mastered everything from "high-five" to complex medication alerts, proving what cats are truly capable of. I bring this same expertise to your home, offering enrichment-based care that honors your cat’s intelligence. Whether your cat needs social engagement or quiet space, I use force-free, science-based methods to keep them happy, safe, and stimulated while you're away.
About: I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember, and I have experience with dogs and cats of all kinds. I have a deep respect for all animals, including those that are shy or have special needs, and I'm committed to giving every animal the care they deserve. I'm available on most weekends and holidays. I occasionally have weekdays open as my work schedule allows and I will have Fridays available for part of the summer. When introducing myself I allow the animal to approach me first, I take things slow if they're shy or nervous. I'm familiar with dog and cat body language so I can recognize signs of stress. When walking dogs I'm always aware of my surroundings and will adjust the route if I need to.

“Natasha did a great job with our kitties! This was our first time using the Rover app and we were a little nervous about it, but Natasha sent us updates that put us at the ease (including letting us know when we had packages delivered) and we came home to happy kitties. We will definitely reach out to her the next time we need a sitter.”

“Miranda is so great with my cat. I'm not one to trust just anyone with my pets but she really made me feel comfortable. She was attentive to detail and quick to respond. My cat warmed right up to her quickly which was surprising cause she is shy. I'd absolutely book with her again. She even was great with my chicken!”

“Merissa and Nick are the best pet sitters I have ever had, because they care and go above and beyond!! Besides the very helpful daily updates on my cat’s food, drink, litter box usage and general behavior, they sent me some of the greatest photos and videos of Hodge, many showing them playing with my very social fur baby. When I returned home after a 10-day trip, the house was immaculate and my mail and newspapers were neatly piled up on the kitchen counter. I knew that with Merissa and Nick my cat was getting the best care possible and was very happy, which gave me complete peace of mind to enjoy my vacation.”

“Laney is amazing! I’ve used her 3 or 4 times for nearly week long drop-ins for my elderly cat. Simone always seems happy to see me home, but was obviously well cared for in my absence. Great communication, handles my old door and funky electronic locks with ease, etc etc. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Eleanor is absolutely amazing. Incredibly kind. We had a foster cat that we adopted and then unfortunately had to leave town shortly after. She jumped right in, learned the routine and genuinely loved on our boy. I’m so thankful & HIGHLY recommend!!”

“Hannah was absolutely wonderful with our kitten, Daley! We were extremely nervous to leave him alone for a week, but he opened right up to Hannah which showed how compassionate she was!”

Depending on when your pets need care I can adjust my schedule accordingly It is my pleasure to keep your pets company while you are away. I am happy to help out with whatever is needed. I am reliable and will keep your pets company while you are away.
“This is the second time I have booked Kat to visit my kitties and both times she sent me a summary of the visit and their behaviors towards her (unsure at first but gererally warming up to her with every visit) along with some great photos. She is very responsive to messages and follows instructions well. If you book with Kat, rest assured that your pet will be in good hands!”

I live and breathe dogs — training, sports, and overall enjoyment are my passion. Your pup will get safe, structured care, plenty of exercise, and personal attention while you get peace of mind and daily updates. We keep a very rigid structured routine. Our day starts between 6-7am, with initial let outs--group play if appropriate to get that morning energy out. Then we settle in for breakfast time, all dogs rest 30 minutes prior to meals, 30 minutes to eat, then followed by another 30-60 minutes to digest. This helps prevent bloat( while any size dog CAN bloat--most often occurs in larger/deep chested breeds, but I take no chances). We then are in and out throughout the rest of the day when dinner time commences between 5-6pm, repeating the same 30-30-30/60 routine. Last let outs and romps wrapping up around 10-11pm. I don't operate a free for all. Fully fenced in yard. Specifically zoned areas for potting and play. Daily house keeping services including vacuuming and daily crate wipe down and disinfection. Dogs are outside as much as we can be, under direct supervision weather permitting.

About: I have a very dog friendly home with a dog door accessible to a large fully fenced in yard. If your dog enjoys swimming during the summer months, my pool is dog friendly. I enjoy sending photos and videos of your pup(s) all day long. I visit the dog park for ball throwing and safe, leashed walks 2-3 times a day. At home play breaks in the fenced in yard are common practice in my house. Snuggles on the couch are a must! My yard is completely safe for dogs. I always provide fresh water and enjoy spending time with dogs: petting them, playing with them, talking to them and walking them. Dogs are the best! They all have their own personality and there is something special and charming about every dog.
“Keegan is the best 😍 he shows my dog so much love and affection. He communicates well, is trustworthy and keeps me updated with photos. He is such an amazing person and we are so grateful to have him in our lives. I trust him with all animals.”

“Patty is the best! She and Colonel Mustard quickly became great friends with our dog. She took our pup on walks, played with him, and took lots of photos. She also allowed us to arrange an early drop off and late pickup. I can't recommend Patty highly enough.”

“This was my first time using Rover and, remarkably, my first time leaving my dog Maddy with someone in their house, and not my own. Lori was wonderful! She answered all my questions before the day, and answered so promptly too. Maddy and Lori's dog Rees were very compatible, even though Rees is much bigger than Maddy. When I came to pick up my dog, Lori said Maddy missed me and was a bit subdued, but that's to be expected for the first time. Maddy was perfectly fine, and happy to see me when I came to pick her up. I will be booking with Lori and Rees again. Practice makes perfect!”

“MaryEllen was all I could have asked for and more to watch my little girl Nala! She was kind, easy to work with, responsive, and thoughtful! She went above and beyond to make Nala feel at home and welcome! I will absolutely ask her to watch Nala again!”

“Great first experience leaving my dog in their house for a day for daycare. Christopher and Chelsea both are very kind, sweet, patient and knowledgeable about caring for dogs. When I picked up, I can tell my baby is so happy, satisfied and well rested. Will definitely come back again!”

She was super communicative and took care to follow all the instructions we gave her. We recommend her highly to anyone who needs walking/petsitting services!”

Her communication is excellent, and the photos she sends are always amazing. I couldn’t ask for a better dog walker.”

“Let’s see - Miranda took the job last minute. Very reasonably priced on a holiday. She was responsive, good natured, respectful and most importantly, great with the pooch. Honestly what more can you ask for? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Kat has been great! Provides quick responses to messages, my dog enjoys his walks with her, and she gives him treats and makes him comfortable when she brings him back home before she leaves. We will be booking her again!”
About: I have been working in animal and the dog sitting space since 2020. I have managed a range of pets from rats all the way through dogs. I have worked with sick animals before (administering diabetes shots, cleaning wounds and stitches) and am comfortable doing that moving forward. I have worked with many dogs at a time (up to three) many times in my career. I have also worked with nervous and reactive dogs as well. Overall I really have seen it all. I work a standard 9-5. That being said I work from home every other week, so depending on the week I can spend much more time in the home and provide more supervision. I love to be active so making time for walks and outside time will always be a priority. With weekends off I can spend those full days with your precious pet. I ensure that your pet is healthy, happy and comfortable. I let them become used to me and work around them. This is their space a they should feel safe there.

About: I’ve had my own animals, both cats and dogs (mainly cats) since I was 6 years old. I’ve had to administer insulin before to my diabetic cat that has since passed. My experience with dogs are mainly of the bigger size (I had a pitbull/boxer mix and a pure bred chow chow). I’m currently working as a Direct Support Professional overnights 9pm-9am Thursday through Saturday (technically Sunday 9am). So I’m pretty open for picking up last minute gigs if needed. I would love to have a break down of your pets day to day. Typically when they are most ready to play or eat. When potty breaks need to be done around.

“Debra was friendly and sweet to my dog. She met me early in the morning for a Meet and Greet and then came back in the afternoon to walk Tilly. I got photos and texts while they were together.”

“Christopher was incredible! Very communicative and sensitive to the needs of my dog. He is very knowledgeable on dog behaviors too! It’s was such a relief knowing my pup was in good hands :) thank you!!!”

“Margaret was amazing with Hershey and Mosby! We had complete trust that she'd be a good fit for watching our boys after doing a meet-and-greet with her and Luna, and after her weekend of watching them, she somehow exceeded our expectations! We loved receiving all of the picture and video updates and knew they were in good hands with Margaret. Thanks again!”

“Alex was a fantastic dog sitter for our senior dog, Zuzu! He provided lots of pictures during her stay, and in every one, Zuzu looked so happy and comfy. She received several walks per day, and lots of pets. I would book Alex again in a heartbeat!”

“Alyson was wonderful! She was very patient with my dogs, even when they got nervous and peed on her floor. They quickly warmed up to her and her dog, and from the photos she sent, it was obvious they were having a great time. I will definitely rebook with Alyson.”

“Elizabeth was amazing! and very accommodating for my last minute request. Being that it was my first time leaving my own fur babies with a sitter, I felt completely comfortable and at ease knowing they were having a good time with Elizabeth, her husband, and her pup Cooper. We will definitely be using her again and I can't recommend her enough to others!”
