About: Hi, my name is Leydi! I’ve loved dogs and cats my whole life and have been around them since I was little. I have over 20 years of experience caring for dogs and cats for family and friends. I’ve always dreamed of working with animals because I truly enjoy being around them and making sure they’re happy, safe, and well cared for. I love seeing dogs go on walks, play, and just enjoy their day, and I feel the same way about cats and their unique personalities. Rover feels like a perfect fit for me because I get to do something I genuinely love. I’m very patient, responsible, caring, and attentive, and I would love the chance to meet and take care of your furry friend :) I’m super responsible and committed. I can definitely accommodate your needs with a little bit of advance notice. Having my own dog, I know how much time they need, so I dedicate pretty much all of my free time to her and I'd love to do the same for your pup! I live in an apartment complex surrounded by lots of nature! We have a dedicated area in the back with both a fenced dog park and a big open one. I have a small dog named Lola who is super friendly and loves playing with dogs and cats. While I prefer watching your pup at your place, I’m happy to host for doggy daycare!

About: I've been a pet parent of cats, dogs, fish & more since I was a child. I believe pets are family and will treat yours with the utmost love, care and respect. I have experience with pets of all ages and stages of life. I work a weekday fulltime job with earlier hours and some flexibility with working from home. I'm an early riser that can get to your pet prior to work, but occasionally fit in a midday visit, I'm available mid to late afternoon and evenings and weekends Communication is key as every pet is different and their needs vary. I like to do a meet and greet prior to providing service to ensure that we are on the same page and that all of your pets needs are met to your satisfaction.

About: As a loving dog owner myself, I sympathize with the need for customized care while you're away. I am here to help keep your pet’s usual routine, exercise and enrichment activities while you're away. As a responsible professional, I take my commitments seriously. This includes following your directions and caring for your pet the way you prefer. I am a stickler for details and safety. Personally, it’s difficult for me to trust people with my own dog, so I know how important it is to follow an owner’s directions and make sure your pet has the environment and enrichment that they need. Caring for dogs has been a lifelong hobby for me. I grew up with dogs as pets and have watched my friends’ and family’s pets throughout my life. I truly enjoy my time with dogs, which I think helps them be at ease while you’re away. There are very few other things I'd rather do than take a dog for a walk! Pooches keep us humble and remind us to live in the moment. My full-time job is in secondary research, and my favorite "off hours" topic is dogs. Learning about their behavior, needs and evolution is endlessly fascinating to me. While I'm a relative layman (much respect to trainers & vets!), I'm well versed in canine safety and understanding their behaviors and context. I was motivated to work through Rover because my own dog doesn't do well with boarding, and we have found our amazing sitters here (my dog is home with his Dad while I’m sitting for you). So, when I saw the need in our community for more pet care options that take on only one pet (or family) at a time, I realized it would be a natural and rewarding use of my time. Generally, I work 10 - 6 from home / remotely. I can also do midday visits, before and after are also free for playtime and pup care. I keep a safe environment for your dog. Currently, I only offer overnight services in the client / dog's home and do not bring dogs that I don't know into my own home.

I have one 19-year-old grumpy kitty who I love dearly, who will happily hide in my bedroom – and ever so briefly – coexist with my doggie guests. All good there. I'm available any day for a drop in visit or daycare in my home. Prices are for a time frame up to 6 hours and may vary with longer periods. I will love and protect your pet like they are my own. If I were to visit your/their home, I would enter and provide excellent service with respect to you and your pets!
