About: I’ve had my own animals, both cats and dogs (mainly cats) since I was 6 years old. I’ve had to administer insulin before to my diabetic cat that has since passed. My experience with dogs are mainly of the bigger size (I had a pitbull/boxer mix and a pure bred chow chow). I’m currently working as a Direct Support Professional overnights 9pm-9am Thursday through Saturday (technically Sunday 9am). So I’m pretty open for picking up last minute gigs if needed. I would love to have a break down of your pets day to day. Typically when they are most ready to play or eat. When potty breaks need to be done around.
About: I have great experience with all types of animals in all ranges of age and necessities. I have worked at a barn as well as volunteer at my local animal shelter. I also grew up fostering puppies and kittens as young as days old. I have multiple pets of my own and they are my whole world, I treat any animal with the same level of respect. I work part time but my schedule is very flexible with an enough time in advance. I am free pretty much all day on weekends and most consistently after 3 on weekdays. However my schedule does shift and I am an early riser so I can make most other times work. I currently do not offer home services in my personal house. At a clients home I will listen to whatever instructions are given and keep everything as similar as possible for overnight and drop-in visits to help keep stress levels down for your animal.

We set up a meet-and-greet ahead of time to introduce her to our dog, and for a nervous guy with a lot of quirks, he warmed to her instantly which put us at immediate ease. She provided updates on her arrival and departure times, a full report on his bathroom break, sent pics during her visit, and she is so accommodating to our ever-changing schedule. Will definitely be utilizing her for recurring visits!”

About: I have been dog sitting dogs since I was a teenager. I have experience with many different breeds both big and small. Since I don’t have any pets of my own right now I love being able to go meet new furry friends and play with them I have a pretty flexible work schedule. I can make my own schedule based off of the needs clients may have. Katie was exactly what we were hoping for! I needed someone to come to the house to take care of our 2 yr old puppy, Duncan, while I was at work. Enter Katherine (Katie, Kate)! When I put the request in she got back to me super fast. Even more impressive was that she was out at a show with friends and still took the time to respond and to let me know she would reach out shortly after. She came to the house TWICE during the night. She made sure Duncan was fed, took him for his walk, played with him and hang out a bit with him for general attention and cuddles that our little man needs while I was at work. She then returned at 11p (later than a lot of people would agree to) for yet another walk, his evening bone, and (you guessed it) more cuddles! She was on time, sent updates for each visit, and took almost 20 photos of their adventures togethers. Highly recommended and we will use her in the future!
Glenn and Diana were the best sitters ever! We have a very hyper, young lab who does not like to be left alone. We have never used a professional pet sitting service before and Glenn and Diana provided us with not only did they provide excellent pet care, but they were extremely flexible with several last minute schedule changes. They also helped us navigate the Rover app to help correct errors on our part as well as giving our dog some short training sessions with sit, down, and stay while they were spending time with her. Glenn and Diana played a lot of fetch with the dog and gave our cat tons of attention too. Great sitters who really put us at ease! We highly recommend them and Rover!
I had a wonderful experience with Stacie and would highly recommend her! Great attention to detail, awesome communication, and so caring with my kitties. There was an unexpected hiccup during the reservation (not Stacie’s fault) that she handled so well, which I very much appreciated. She really went above and beyond to make sure my kitties were cared for!
Met Michael at colonie center and wally instantly hit it off with him! Found out that he was a dog walker and animal care giver!!! Mike checked in and checked out with me via text because the app has some technical issues (weather related) when he visited w/ Wally. He provided Wally with play time, a walk & treat I left him. He also cleaned up after him because Wally left a mess. I appreciate the extra effort! Wally did well with him and I highly recommend for your pets!
