As a devoted animal lover, my journey into pet care began when I started pet sitting for my boss's two golden retrievers. Their joyful personalities and wagging tails hooked me instantly! Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for various dogs from different bosses, establishing a reputation as a trustworthy employee and pet sitter. Most recently, I’ve been caring for a German Shepherd who has quickly become one of my biggest fans—our bond is truly special! My passion doesn’t stop at dogs; I also share my home with my adorable kitty, Chloe. Whether it’s dogs, cats, reptiles, or any other critter, I genuinely love them all and strive to create a trusting and loving environment: I want every pet to feel safe and happy--and continue their routine!--while their owner is away.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I want to create a safe and comfortable environment that sticks to their routines. I believe that familiarity is key, so I make sure to follow the established schedules for feeding, walking, and playtime, ensuring that each pet feels secure and at ease. Most importantly, I want your pet to trust me! That means engaging with them through their favorite activities and providing plenty of affection. Whether it’s sticking to their usual walking routes or maintaining their feeding times, I strive to keep their routine as normal as possible. This approach helps them feel relaxed and cared for, allowing them to thrive while their owners are away.

Heather was so great with our two dogs… we have a smaller dog who doesn’t warm up to new people but she was able to get on his good side quickly! She was a great communicator we will definitely use her again!

Heather took care of my young, high-energy dog while we were on vacation for a week and did an excellent job. We received frequent unsolicited updates, which I really appreciated. She did a great job keeping him busy and entertained. She also left our house very neat and tidy. I would absolutely book with her again in the future.

Schedule
I'm on a sabbatical! My schedule is quite flexible, which allows me to add pet care seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. I prioritize pet sitting and care as a meaningful part of my day/week, dedicating time to ensure that the pets I look after receive plenty of love, attention, and exercise. On a typical day, I might start with morning walks or playtime, followed by feeding and some quality cuddle time. Throughout the week, I can adjust my schedule to accommodate each pet’s needs, whether that means longer walks, special play sessions, or simply being there for companionship. My availability allows me to be attentive and responsive, creating a nurturing environment where pets can thrive while their owners are away.
