I’m mindful of introductions (if other pets are present), keep the space clean and secure, and make sure every dog has a comfortable area to rest and relax. In Your Home: When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their usual routine to reduce stress. I stick closely to feeding times, walks, and preferred activities. I also respect your home by keeping things tidy, bringing in mail if requested, and ensuring everything is secure before I leave. About: I have, of course experience as a pet lover as a young child, merely watching and walking the dogs, feeding and changing litter/ picking up after the dogs. I never fully had responsibility and experience until I adopted my pal Leo. He is a high energy lab retriever and puts me through every step of patience! All in all, it has taught me to be stern and serious when needed, but flip it around to fun and playful as well. My boy knows to respect me and listen when i give a command. I know with my body language and direct nature will ensure your pups and kitties are loved and watched over. I will give your pets the time and attention you allow and ensure that while you are away there is plenty of fun to be had, and plenty of adventure as well :) I will be enrolling in school online at SNHU and will be taking courses at home. I will have afternoons and evenings off, So, plenty of free time for your beloved furry companions. I have experience with all types of dogs, not so much cats, but i am a day by day learner! I take everything into opportunity to gain a new skill. I will ensure your pet feels safe and secure with me, all of their needs will be met so long as they are in my care! :)

“Catherine and her family were amazing. She responded to my request almost immediately after I posted for an overnight boarding need for the same day. This was Emma’s first time spending the night with a non-relative and did experience separation anxiety. Catherine was very patient with her and tried different ways to make her feel more comfortable. She took her for a long walk and refocused her energy using a kong filled with treats I provided. She made me aware of her anxiety after she was calm and sent me pictures to assure me she was okay. She also told me not to worry. Emma also had a hard time at bed time but eventually fell asleep on the couch. Emma did better the next day as she was feeling loved!”
