Experienced and adaptable
Thanks to fostering I have lots of experience housing different dogs. I do work full time during the week, but I have flexibility to amend my in-office schedule, so I can make myself fully available to stay home with pups if needed. I have a cat, and 2 dogs who are all very mellow and used to being around new dogs. My home isn’t huge so more suited for small to medium sized dogs. We have had dogs of all ages, but seniors dogs are especially welcome - and we are used to using wraps/diapers, and giving out medications.

Annette took exceptional care of our dog while we were away! Kona was a very happy guy. She had a cat and another dog that he got to hang out with. She sent timely updates with many photos. I would definitely recommend Annette!
I couldn’t be more pleased with the quick response time that Annette had when our sitter had to cancel last minute. She went above and beyond picking our dog up when our trip required us to leave earlier. Annette was great with our senior dog. Our dog required several medicines and had some mobility issues, but Annette administered and cared for her like her own. We loved our updates and really could see Daisy was relaxed and safe in her home. Thank you so much!!
Firstly and most important, Hazel was safe and sound and had a fantastic time (she didn’t really want to leave!). Annette provided daily updates along with photos and video’s that key me know Hazel was doing great, and I had zero stress about leaving my 8 mo old puppy in her care. I’ll 100% use Annette again when I’m in need of a boarder. Highly recommend!
This was a one night trial run for my 7 month old puppy before a longer upcoming vacation. My little girl seemed to have a great time and I felt very comfortable with Annette who was very responsive. I’ve never boarded a dog before, so this has been a new, stressful experience but I felt like Hazel was in great hands. I’ll be able to relax for future dates when Annette is watching my little one.

I work full-time but have a flexible hybrid work schedule so I am likely able to adapt my work schedule to meet your and your pet’s needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I have 2 mellow dogs who are pet friendly and used to having dogs come and go due to my experience fostering. If there is a reason I need to leave during a pets stay, it will be for no more than 3 hrs (due to appointments or errands) and dogs will be crated or isolated to an area using a gate to ensure everyone’s safety and I do have an in home camera.

A typical day
What we do during a stay is dependent on the individual pet, but we will typically take a morning and evening walk to the nearby park. And my dog Martini at first seems shy and reserved but she often opens up to small young dogs and becomes very playful. Shy dogs or seniors may just enjoy the relative peace and quiet of this house.
