We had a wonderful experience with Jennifer and couldn’t have felt better about leaving Moose and Maggie in her care. From our initial meet-and-greet through the entire stay, Jennifer was warm, attentive, communicative, and genuinely invested in making sure both dogs were happy and well cared for. Moose is a senior Great Pyrenees with some mobility limitations and additional care needs, and Jennifer went above and beyond for him. She was patient and compassionate, adapted walks and activities to what he was comfortably able to do, helped him when he needed assistance, stayed on top of his medications, and made sure he was comfortable and included. At the same time, she made sure Maggie received just as much individual attention and plenty of activity suited to her energy level. Jennifer sent frequent updates and so many wonderful photos throughout their stay, which we really appreciated. Her mom was also wonderful with the dogs, and it was clear that Moose and Maggie received so much attention and affection while they were there. Jennifer was also incredibly flexible and accommodating throughout the stay, which made everything much easier for us. We’re extremely grateful for the care they received and would absolutely trust Jennifer with them again. I know Moose and Maggie will be very happy when they realize they’re headed back for another stay!

Jennifer was amazing. I can’t say enough good things. She treated my pup like one of her own and I am truly grateful. Leaving and being away from your pup is an anxiety inducing experience, but Jennifer took such good care of Cadbury and was so incredible at keeping me updated that I didn’t have to worry and was able to focus on my conference instead of worrying about him. And she also kept Cadbury entertained and engaged so his mind was on whatever thing was going on at the moment which I was glad for Her dogs welcomed Cadbury to their pack which I was also incredibly appreciative of. I am so glad he has new friends that I look forward to him spending more time with them. Jennifer, her mom and their pack were amazing and so glad it worked out the way it did. I’m sure I’m missing things but they were amazing and look forward to Cadbury’s next experience there and so glad to know I have a place I can trust. Thanks Jennifer!

DO NOT USE HER. After a meet and greet and we both agreed to her watching our dogs for the 4th of July weekend she totally ghosted us.

House Sitting • May 10, 2021

After a really great meet and greet, Jennifer was a no show with absolutely no communication. I reached out several times with no response. We are super disappointed and confused. I had another house sit scheduled too with her which I had to cancel and it put us in a very difficult spot.

Amazing! Great with the doggies. Played fetched with our border collie (needs the exercise). Will definitely use again!

Jennifer was so GREAT with my 1.5 year old Frenchie during a recent day-long sitting. She takes a fun-loving but responsible approach to her work with animals and her experience and excellent rappor with dogs shows from the minute she walks in the door. I will definitely use her again. Thanks Jenn!

Schedule

Where sensitive pups, seniors, and rescues feel safe, understood, and loved. We’re a mother–daughter duo devoted to senior dogs, rescues, and pups who thrive in calm, loving routines. Caring for our three rescue dogs, indoor cats, and our 13‑year‑old feral boy is our daily rhythm and full‑time lifestyle. Our home is built on rescue‑rooted compassion, gentle structure, and family‑level comfort. Every dog is welcomed like family, supported with patience, and cared for with the same devotion we give our own rescues. Dogs love staying here because our home feels safe, calm, and deeply loving. Seniors relax with our staircase‑free layout, shy pups blossom with our gentle routines, and adventurous dogs enjoy nature walks, streams, trails, and cozy indoor comfort. Every dog feels understood, protected, and truly at home. Review Note: Seven years ago, before I learned the importance of boundaries, I struggled with scheduling. After a long hiatus, I rebuilt my entire care system with strict capacity limits and clear routines. Today, every dog receives reliable, safe, structured care.

Safety, trust & environment

We’re not a facility — we’re a small, rescue‑rooted home. We accept only three guest dogs at a time, ensuring calm energy, emotional safety, and individualized care. Seniors and disabled pups are always welcome, regardless of size. A meet & greet ensures compatibility with our three rescues and indoor cats. Our home includes a double‑gated breezeway for safe drop‑offs, a staircase‑free layout, and fully pet‑friendly furniture. Crates are optional and only used if a dog chooses one. Outside, our wide fenced yard offers shade, cooling mats, a small & large size dog pool, and plenty of space for zoomies and gentle exploration. Traditional facilities can be loud, crowded, and overstimulating. Our home is the opposite — quiet, structured, small‑scale, and supervised at all times. Dogs enjoy nature enrichment, gentle routines, cozy sleeping spaces, and real companionship. It’s safer, calmer, and healthier for seniors, rescues, and sensitive pups.

Pets

A typical day

Seniors get slow strolls; timid pups get patient encouragement. Midday brings sensory games and quiet rest inside where every cozy spot is theirs to enjoy. Every dog is supervised, supported, and loved like family. 🟩 DAYCARE (Request‑Based) Daycare is offered by request for parents needing daytime support. Your dog enjoys supervised play, outdoor time, enrichment, rest periods, and constant companionship in a calm, rescue‑friendly environment. 🟩 BOARDING (Request‑Based) Overnight care is available as requested. Dogs follow a gentle routine with morning potty breaks, supervised play, midday rest, enrichment, dinner, and cozy nighttime comfort. Seniors and special‑needs pups receive extra support and individualized attention.
