Bella is 6 years old and weighs 33 lbs, while Chloe is 4 years old and weighs 68 lbs. I would love to care for your pet and provide them with a warm home filled with love, attention, and furry friends. I work from home several times a week. I am home on the weekends. While your fur baby is in my care, they will receive my full attention. While your pet is in my home, they will be loved and treated as a part of the family. They are welcome to sit or lie on the sofa, and I also have pet beds available if they prefer to use those or they can bring their own.

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 5 years old, when I got my very first dachshunds—Peanut and Sweetie. By the time I was 9, I had adopted a shelter dachshund and raised two more dachshund puppies, bringing my total to five dogs at once. I personally trained all of them, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding dog behavior, especially with independent or energetic breeds like dachshunds. Throughout middle school and my teen years, I helped neighbors by dog sitting, walking, and doing drop-in visits, often just for playtime and companionship. About: I’m a beginner on Rover, but I’ve been caring for dogs for about 6 years through friends and family, and it’s something I truly love doing. Over the years, I’ve looked after dogs with all kinds of personalities, high-energy pups, shy dogs, older dogs, and everything in between, so I’m very comfortable adapting to each dog’s unique needs. I also have a 10-year-old dog of my own, which has given me a lot of hands-on experience with daily care, routines, and understanding how dogs communicate. He’s a bit odd and thrives when he’s kept to his routine. He loves people but there are a few dogs in my neighborhood who he has decided he'd rather avoid so I’m familiar with sticking to a routine and dealing with each dog's unique quirks! It is important to me that every pet feels safe and comfortable. While I’ve never owned a cat myself, I’ve taken care of a few and really enjoyed the experience. I’m always happy to learn their routines and make sure they feel just as cared for and relaxed while you’re away. I genuinely love animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away by making sure your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. I currently work full time as a Medical Assistant at a Private Family Practice. I’m applying to Physician Assistant School this spring and am working to get experience while I finish my applications. My hours are 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday. I work half day on Fridays, 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM. I don’t have time during my work day to stop in to let pets out or feed them and am best suited to do walks, feedings, and keep company in the early morning or evenings. My weekends are open and flexible as I am able to stay at the house all day or drop by several times throughout the day for whatever care is necessary. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities while staying in your home. I make it a point to follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or any specific care instructions, so they feel secure and stress-free in their familiar environment. I take the time to learn each pet’s behavior, boundaries, and personality to ensure they feel safe and respected. I’m very attentive and always keep a close eye on pets, whether we’re relaxing at home or out for a walk. I also make sure doors, gates, and any potential hazards are secure at all times. I respect your home just as much as your pet. I keep things clean, organized, and exactly how you left them. Communication is very important to me, so I’m happy to provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins while you’re away so you always know how your pet is doing. About: I have been dog sitting with Rover for the last few months. Clients have enjoyed my flexibility, attention to detail, and bond with their dogs. Additionally, I grew up with a family cat, and have had my own cat the last three years. I’ve also spent extended stays at family’s houses helping care for dogs, cats, and a parrot. I love learning and paying attention to the unique ways animals communicate their needs and wants. Friends and family can attest that I can “read” my cat like a book, and have even taught him tricks such as sit, shake, and roll over. The key for me is establishing trust with the animal. With trust and reinforcement, I have been able to brush, trim nails, and bathe pets that even their owners struggled to manage. *Message me about light cleaning and household chores as well! I always change pets water and tidy toys if needed, but we can also discuss additional services such as wiping surfaces, washing dishes, and taking care of other household chores. I’m currently looking for my next job opportunity, so I’ll have plenty of flexibility to meet your pets needs. I’m available for weekday and weekend visits, any time of day - including in the early morning. With my close attention to detail, I will notice and notify you about any changes in behavior, and be sure to address any environmental hazards. Having had multiple cats over the years, I know all about pets rushing doors, or opening them in my cat’s case, and affinities for cables and small items finding their way into pet’s mouths. I keep all of these in mind when entering a new space, including my own, as I have moved several times with pets as a college student. And I understand how difficult it can be leaving your fur baby with someone new, which is why I value open communication about visits and behaviors, and pictures!
