About: All my life, I have had a special connection with animals. Even the pets that are "sassier" than others, I have been able to connect with to make them comfortable. Animals love me, and I love them! I attribute this to the fact that I have been a pet sitter in my neighborhood since middle school, and I have had several different kinds of pets growing up. Now that I am a college graduate, I am looking to expand my network. I have experience with cats and dogs of all ages, as well as some more exotic pets. Please let me know if you have any questions for me! I work full-time at an OB/GYN clinic 4 days a week. My hours are from 7 am to 5:30 pm, so I am free most days after 5:30 pm. I have one day off a week, and I do not work there on weekends. My off day is usually Mondays but it can vary; I am almost always free on weekends. I get my schedule well in advance, so if you want to know when I am available a certain week, I will definitely be able to tell you! Every pet is different. My pets at home have specific routines that they like to stick to and are more comfortable with. In my experience, I usually ask the owner to write or message me what their pet needs and when they need it. This way, they don't feel that too much has changed from their day to day, even if their owner isn't there. For example, people usually let me know what time their pet eats, how many times they usually need to go to the bathroom, and generally what makes them happy. This way, I can give them what they need and make them comfortable when they are missing you!

About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 5 years old, when I got my very first dachshunds—Peanut and Sweetie. By the time I was 9, I had adopted a shelter dachshund and raised two more dachshund puppies, bringing my total to five dogs at once. About: I have two fur babies of my own, so I understand that trusting someone else to care for your pet can be challenging. However, sometimes we don't have a choice. With me, you won't have to worry at all; I will love and spoil your furry friend just like I do with my own. I absolutely adore dogs and wish I could have more! You can rest assured that your pet will be in good hands and will have playmates to feel comfortable with. My female dogs are very loving and playful. Bella is 6 years old and weighs 33 lbs, while Chloe is 4 years old and weighs 68 lbs. I would love to care for your pet and provide them with a warm home filled with love, attention, and furry friends. I work from home several times a week. I am home on the weekends. While your fur baby is in my care, they will receive my full attention. While your pet is in my home, they will be loved and treated as a part of the family. They are welcome to sit or lie on the sofa, and I also have pet beds available if they prefer to use those or they can bring their own.

About: I have been dog sitting with Rover for the last few months. Clients have enjoyed my flexibility, attention to detail, and bond with their dogs. Additionally, I grew up with a family cat, and have had my own cat the last three years. I’ve also spent extended stays at family’s houses helping care for dogs, cats, and a parrot. I love learning and paying attention to the unique ways animals communicate their needs and wants. Friends and family can attest that I can “read” my cat like a book, and have even taught him tricks such as sit, shake, and roll over. The key for me is establishing trust with the animal. With trust and reinforcement, I have been able to brush, trim nails, and bathe pets that even their owners struggled to manage. *Message me about light cleaning and household chores as well! I always change pets water and tidy toys if needed, but we can also discuss additional services such as wiping surfaces, washing dishes, and taking care of other household chores. I’m currently looking for my next job opportunity, so I’ll have plenty of flexibility to meet your pets needs. I’m available for weekday and weekend visits, any time of day - including in the early morning. With my close attention to detail, I will notice and notify you about any changes in behavior, and be sure to address any environmental hazards. Having had multiple cats over the years, I know all about pets rushing doors, or opening them in my cat’s case, and affinities for cables and small items finding their way into pet’s mouths. I keep all of these in mind when entering a new space, including my own, as I have moved several times with pets as a college student. And I understand how difficult it can be leaving your fur baby with someone new, which is why I value open communication about visits and behaviors, and pictures!
