About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 5 years old, when I got my very first dachshunds—Peanut and Sweetie. By the time I was 9, I had adopted a shelter dachshund and raised two more dachshund puppies, bringing my total to five dogs at once. I personally trained all of them, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding dog behavior, especially with independent or energetic breeds like dachshunds. About: Hello! I'm Selena, a student at Skidmore college, doing research over the summer. Back home, I'm the owner of one dog as well as two cats, and I regularly dog sit for my friends and family members. My love of animals is well known and I'm always their go-to for pet sitting, as they know I'm always happy to do it. My current Bernedoodle has been with me since she was just a puppy, so I'm very aware of how much care and attention puppies need. I've also cared for dogs on the older side, and I'm open to dogs of all ages and sizes! Caring for pets is very important to me, so much so that when I do not have an animal to care for (i.e. when I'm alone at school), I become very sad. Growing up, taking care of animals every day was very important to me. I am unfortunately a college student living in on-campus housing, so I am unable to care for pets in my own space. However, I make sure pets are happy in my client's home and makes sure to keep the space maintained well!

About: I am efficient in caring/walking dogs of all sizes, personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’ve been around dogs my whole life and I’m comfortable with caring for pets. I am reliable and attentive, and willing to follow the instructions given by the owners to make sure the animals are set and well cared for! I am currently working part-time. I am available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday anytime after 1:30 PM. Mondays, I am available 9 AM to 12 PM. Friday Fridays, I can be flexible. About: I have been dog sitting with Rover for the last few months. Clients have enjoyed my flexibility, attention to detail, and bond with their dogs. Additionally, I grew up with a family cat, and have had my own cat the last three years. I’ve also spent extended stays at family’s houses helping care for dogs, cats, and a parrot. I love learning and paying attention to the unique ways animals communicate their needs and wants. Friends and family can attest that I can “read” my cat like a book, and have even taught him tricks such as sit, shake, and roll over. The key for me is establishing trust with the animal. With trust and reinforcement, I have been able to brush, trim nails, and bathe pets that even their owners struggled to manage. *Message me about light cleaning and household chores as well! I always change pets water and tidy toys if needed, but we can also discuss additional services such as wiping surfaces, washing dishes, and taking care of other household chores. I’m currently looking for my next job opportunity, so I’ll have plenty of flexibility to meet your pets needs. I’m available for weekday and weekend visits, any time of day - including in the early morning. With my close attention to detail, I will notice and notify you about any changes in behavior, and be sure to address any environmental hazards. Having had multiple cats over the years, I know all about pets rushing doors, or opening them in my cat’s case, and affinities for cables and small items finding their way into pet’s mouths. I keep all of these in mind when entering a new space, including my own, as I have moved several times with pets as a college student. About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats! Very familiar with both big and small breeds. We have a 6 year old yellow lab, Bodhi, who is extremely friendly and obedient. We could easily give lots of love and attention to some more animals!! I’m currently a stay-at-home mom to two kids. We’re home a lot, always out in our backyard playing. My weekly routine revolves around them and their school schedules, but for the most part I am at home. I have a large fenced in backyard in a safe neighborhood. We have motion sensor lights and camera in both the front and backyard. We also have baby gates up all around the house with garbages and cabinets all baby proofed as well! Super safe environment, nothing unsafe they can get into. We can crate or just separate and give them their own space with baby gates. We also have a nice cool finished basement that’s set up like a spare bedroom with king size bed and tv if that’s more their style :)

About: I’ve had pets my entire life. I am a full time mom so I can’t commit to anything long term, but would be happy to do something every once in awhile. I can run and play and walk with your pet. I’ll talk to them and treat them with respect. I’ve had dogs and cats and have helped my sister take care of her pet bearded dragon. I’ve also helped taken care of a hamster and a hedge hog. I had a pet frog growing up that I also took care of. I have a large yard, so if needed I can bring your dog here to play and run for a little bit. I also live near Saratoga State Park - a great place to walk your dog. My oldest daughter is in school, so it’s just me and my almost 3 year old. I’m available all day during the school hours but I will have my daughter with me. I can do a quick drop in or walk after my husband gets home in the evenings. I will let the pets come to me first and won’t push anything. I’m calm and patient. I will match the pets energy level and make sure they have the proper amount of exercise needed. I can feed and water and let pets outside. If I can’t always walk them because I have my daughter with me, I can make sure to let them run outside and play fetch or whatever they like to play.

About: I have 15 years experience caring for dogs of all ages and sizes, as well as small animals and exotics. I foster dogs for a breed specific rescue, with medical and severe behavioral issues so I’ve seen it all. (Dog and human aggression ect…) If dogs are boarding in my home they must be crate trained and/or fully dog and cat friendly. We can always work something out, message me! I do not board cats but would be happy to stop by and spend some time with them. I’m home full time right now! I may go out for a couple hours for dog walking, but other than that someone is always here. We have a spare room if they need their own space. We have lots of experience fostering and crate/ rotate. I’ve lived with dogs my entire life and I’ve had experience with dogs from puppies, to elders, small 5 lb breeds to Great Danes, couch potatoes to super active. I’ve also watched dogs who needed special training or who had special needs (like seizures.) I have no breed or size restrictions. I do walks, drop in visits, boarding, and staying within your home. I do not have my own dog at the moment, so all of my pet-loving energy is going towards yours! With dog walking, I prefer times between 9am and 10pm. I have an apartment in a complex that is incredibly pet friendly, with a fenced in dog park and dog washing station. I try my hardest to make sure that pets are comfortable in my home.
