“I'm happy with the service Sabrina provided. She was easy to work with, followed all directions, and took good care of my pets while I was away. I'd be happy to book her again.”

“Kelly was great! It was always nice to see the notes/pictures each visit and she made sure she kept me updated on an impromptu issue with happy tail! Not a foreseen issue my Hope had until a few days before, but Kelly made sure to check on her tail often and wrap it when needed.”

“Amanda is a pleasant individual with a servant heart. She is obviously experienced with cats by the way she picked up and interacted with Gracie during our interview. Gracie took right to her. Amanda's visits were on time and thorough. I loved all the pictures, especially the ones of her holding and loving on Gracie. Amanda was also kind enough to bring an unexpected delivery of several large and heavy boxes into the house. I highly recommend her for cats and I will definitely book again.”

“Lila was wonderful with Snickers. She was very prompt and did everything I asked with his crazy senior dog behaviors. She’s sweet and loves dogs, it’s obvious with her interaction when she met my dog. It was also quite a last-minute booking, and she really helped us out that way.”

“Really appreciated Alie's visits. Was a first trying Rover for a one week trip. Alie sent pics daily and followed instructions well. She even won over our shy kitty:)”

About: Hello!! My name is Haley ! I am 23 years old and I have owned/ took care of many different dogs and cats all of my life. From poodles to labs, and from russian blues to siamese, I grown to love them all. Early on this love allowed me to learn many skills including grooming, feeding, play time for every age, medication administration, and more! Over a year ago, I took on the special task of adopting my first behaviorally reactive dog named Coco, who is a 4 year old mini australian shepherd who has taught me so much more about caring for an animal with needs. Whether that be more spacial awareness on walks, training commands and structure, or more attention to intentional bonding, my dog skills have massively grown through my relationship with her. Due to her reactive tendencies, I was able to work alongside dog trainers at her training facility Unleash Fido in Jacksonville, FL to learn more about what an animal needs, even if it’s for a simple walk!! Outside of my love for animals, I am a stay at home wife for my navy husband Patric! I was a dance teacher and choreographer for years, as well as a world level powerlifter competing for Team USA in 2024!!! Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me, and i hope to meet your fur baby soon !! I am a stay at home wife at the moment, so my availability is completely open to care for your pets ! Due to this open schedule, I completely open to same day bookings and quick to accept them :) Due to my open schedule, I would love to accommodate to any rules/ preferences you need for caring for your pet inside your home. As for boarding, my husband and I are currently finishing off our fence to provide plenty of area for safe play outside !! Inside the home we have a fully dog proof home, as we ensure the safety of our own dog Coco. If your pet is reactive to other animals, we are willing to board our own dog with friends in order to make a safe environment for your pup or cat !!! We are able to crate as well if needed, and personally have the schedule to accommodate to any support your pet needs in our home or at yours !!!!
“This was our first time hiring a pet sitter at our camp, and Paul made the whole experience easy. He was reliable, sent regular updates, and our mini australian shepherd, Ziggy, clearly felt comfortable with him. We scheduled a meet-and-great in advance of the first visit to give Paul the lowdown on the routine, and he followed through perfectly on the second visit. We will definitely have Paul help us out in in 2026.”

“Allison took excellent care of our 3 month old puppy! She even did a meet and greet with us before we had her take care of her. She was very communicative and took care of everything we needed!”

“Best sitter we've had from Rover so far. (We have talked to several sitters, we liked and were highly qualified). Scott was above and beyond. He had Gremlin be a lap kitty (which he isn't usually, unless he'sstressed) and gave him extra love. It was Gremlin's first time w/o his people since he lost his housemate Dany. Will definitely be our first go to from now on.”

About: I am home full time in June and the first week of July and I am very flexible with hours/days. If you need a consistent dog sitter/walker I would be glad to make a set schedule for any given week. I have owned dogs, currently two golden retriever brothers, and have taken care of other dogs for over 10 years now. Doesn’t matter what size or if they even have a difficult personality, I’m great with all dogs and adjust well! Love playing with dogs and being active outdoors with them, whether it’s going on walks or playing fetch. If you have any special requests or the dog has any specific needs I will be happy to accommodate Currently working full time until mid May but have available hours then will be off for June and July. During this time I will have plenty of availability. I am happy to crate dogs if needed or take care of any other needs before I leave them. Will make sure they are secure before leaving!
“The Andrews family has been incredibly lucky to have found such an incredible person like Angela. Her outstanding skills in pet sitting have truly shone through—especially in her care of our beloved Remi and Willa. This was her second time working with our furry family members, and each time she has gone above and beyond to ensure their happiness and well-being. She is thorough in the work that she does, always remaining committed to her passion and treating pets as if they are her own. We will greatly miss her services in New Jersey, but her impact on our family remains. Angela, thank you for your dedication, compassion, and the love you’ve shown our pets. We’ll always remember your kindness and wish you nothing but the best in life. May you continue to spread joy and care to all the pets and families lucky enough to have you. With heartfelt gratitude, The Andrews Family ❤️”

“Thank you Rebecca for taking such good care of Sven and Sophie for us! We really appreciate you getting our mail, cleaning up their accidents and baking us muffins too! The pictures are great, it looks like Sven had a great time with you, thank you!! 🙏 🫶”

“Cassandra is a life saver!!! My rescue pup came way faster than expected and she has been helping us by coming and spending a hour with her during the day. Roxy absolutely loves her and I get detailed reports with the cutest pictures. Everything is left where it was. She’s is very trustworthy and reliable!!! Will definitely be using again.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
