About: I have been caring for dogs since the age of 8. I have been responsible for walking and feeding pets over the years. I am a big dog lover and enjoy spending time playing with dogs. I work full time, however I am available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 pm and on as well as Mondays and Wednesdays before 9:30 and after 7. On Fridays I am available before 8:30 and after 6. On the weekends my schedule is clear. I am open to caring for pets in a client’s home, playing with the dogs, taking them for walks, and feeding them. I love animals and enjoy spending time with them.

About: I am home full time in June and the first week of July and I am very flexible with hours/days. If you need a consistent dog sitter/walker I would be glad to make a set schedule for any given week. I have owned dogs, currently two golden retriever brothers, and have taken care of other dogs for over 10 years now. Doesn’t matter what size or if they even have a difficult personality, I’m great with all dogs and adjust well! Love playing with dogs and being active outdoors with them, whether it’s going on walks or playing fetch. If you have any special requests or the dog has any specific needs I will be happy to accommodate Currently working full time until mid May but have available hours then will be off for June and July. During this time I will have plenty of availability. I am happy to crate dogs if needed or take care of any other needs before I leave them. Will make sure they are secure before leaving!

From management at Bensons Pet Center, pet care specialist at Petsmart, Pets department manager at Runnings, and working hands on with pets At Sacandaga Vet Clinic! For the past 2 years I’ve been a server, but I miss the fur babies! Which is why I’ve decided to pursue a second job here in Rover! Feel free to message me with any questions! :) I work about 4 times a week until 3:00 PM. The days change so some days I may be available earlier when I have them off! I do not work nights so I’m available any day after 3, if you’d like to schedule me earlier than 3 just message me! I might be able to do it if I’m off that day :) treat every pet like they’re my own and take the time to learn their individual routine, personality, and needs. During drop-in visits, I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean space, plenty of attention and playtime, and any other care you request. For walks, I’ll keep your dog safe, comfortable, and happy while giving them the exercise and enrichment they need. I’ll also send updates and photos during visits so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are being well cared for while you’re away!

We found Joanne and are so glad we did! She went above and beyond our needs. Our cats got lots of attention each time she came. She made sure their food and litter was topped off and kept the areas so clean. She was great about including lots of info and pictures in the report cards. She even watered our plants! Her sweet kids also came and played with the cats. They were very respectful of the house. It gave us such piece of mind knowing that our animals were looked after so attentively. There is no doubt that we will be hiring her for vacations to come!”

About: Throughout my life I have taken care of dogs in many different capacities. Today I am currently an owner, foster parent for Petey's Legacy, and lover of all furry friends. I have experience with all ages and breeds and can provide the greatest experience a pup can ask for. I am always available for whatever your friend may need. I am available anytime, day or night to care for your pets. I know pets sometimes cannot wait to get the care they need and I am able to place them first on my list. I currently have two dogs and foster another one. At my home I have land that allows the dogs to move freely while on an extended leash. My foster dog has their own space that is separated from the other two so they can feel comfortable with a place of their own. All dogs receive equal attention and love. If I am caring for your pets at your home I am able to stay overnight if requested.

Whether it's a bouncy puppy who needs extra patience and play, or a houseful of pets with different personalities, I'm completely in my element. I'm experienced handling high-energy dogs and juggling multiple pets at once — keeping everyone happy, safe, and on their routine is something I genuinely enjoy. Pet owners can feel at ease knowing their fur babies are in the hands of someone who treats them like my own. I'm attentive, reliable, and will always keep you updated with photos and check-ins so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing! I'm a teacher so until June 26, I can only do from 3:30 on during the week and then free on weekends. After June 26th I'm only working part time 8-11am Tuesdays and Thursdays so I'm available anytime after that! I am willing to bring pets to my moms if needed. I have an apartment and an animal of my own so my moms would be the better option. She has a quiet/comfortable home and a decent sized yard!
