“John was great from the start! I inquired about using him as a last minute weekend sitter. I was in full panic mode because our usual sitter was unavailable due to emergency. John arranged a meet and greet several hours later where he and our dog took to each other instantly. His house is clean and accommodating for a pup, or more! His fenced in backyard is great and the neighborhood he is in is quiet and safe. The very next morning is when we needed him for, so our dog was dropped off bright and early. I got a couple updates a day via messages and every message included at least 3-4 photos and videos. From the start you could tell he was attentive based on the questions he was asking me. We’ve never used Rover before and Luna has never stayed with anyone other than a few family members so it was a first for all of us. “Where do I even begin? Heidi and her family were life savers. I had a different host that I had booked well over a month before my trip, and on the day of drop off I could not get a hold of her. I was in pure panic mode, and I found Heidi. She lives even closer to my home so that was another bonus. I got all the pictures and updates constantly. She treated my fur baby as if she were her own. She gave my girl a homemade pup cup, sweet potato and rice on her food, and all the snuggles. I know that she was truly in the best hands, and the first host falling through was a blessing in disguise. I would definitely book with her again!”

They are both high energy young dogs, one 7 months and one 13 months old and we were worried that they were going to be a problem. About: Since I was little, my family has always had at least some kind of animal in the house. 7 years ago when I got my first cat of my own, Daisy. She is my best friend, and our bond is like no other. It seems like I'm the only one in the house she can tolerate, as she has a pretty spiky personality. 3 years ago in the fall, I got my second cat, Simba. In these 7 years of owning and caring for my fur babies, I have cat and dog sat on and off more times than I can count. I usually do sitting and care outside of my home, because my cats can be dramatic and aren't very open to other animals stealing their spotlight. I'm currently working part time and work early shifts so I have plenty of open availability to help with your cats and dogs. I available for boarding on weekdays after 2pm and weekends any time. I am strongly built and am able to pick up, crate, control, and walk dogs up to about 150lbs. For cat sitting, cats naturally love me as I do not invade their spaces if not welcomed and know where to and where not to pet them.

One especially likes the couch and the others love to sleep in bed at night.

About: Growing up, I've had a couple of dogs. Our first was a mix (part husky, terrier, etc.) named O'Doolie who lived to be 16! I was young when we had her, so I don't remember her puppy years. Our other dog we had since I was in elementary school up to my early 20s was Dixie Lee. She was a Miniature Schnauzer and was the sweetest dog ever! I enjoyed bathing her, brushing her teeth, and giving her so much love and attention. My husband and I work together as landscape designers! During the winter months, our schedule is very slow. This provides us more time to engage ourselves in other fun and creative endeavors! Currently, I have an unfenced backyard. I live with my husband in a small home. In the future, we’d love to put in a fence— we have just found we haven’t needed to just yet!

About: My name is Alexis craig, I am a 23 year old college student. I’ve had experience working with dogs for over 4 1/2 years now. I started out volunteering in the shelters , & got to work with many service dogs while being in the military. I have experience with many different breeds and sizes. I’ve learned how to deal with dogs with anxiety, aggression, and being timid. I believe dogs truly are mans best friend which is why I want to protect and love them the same way they do us. I am currently in school studying animal behavior, I find the animal mind in general fascinating. My goal is to one day open a no kill shelter where dogs have no time limit on how long they can stay and never have the fear of being neglected. While your pooch is with me they will have fun, learn new tricks , engage in activities that stimulate there mind and feel at ease in the comfort of my home or there own. I have a high energetic puppy who loves to play all day so high energetic puppies, and adult dogs are super welcomed. I currently work 3 days out of the week Sunday-Tuesday. That gives me plenty of time with your pup during the rest of the week and makes my availability very flexible Although I do not have a fenced backyard we have a gate we put up in the back when the dogs are outback to ensure there safety as well as the other dogs around the neighborhood
About: Grew up with cats and dogs. Always made myself available to watch friends pets. Have my own dog now. Want to spend more time with the good-est pooches and kitties. Looking for additional income to take on more pets in my own home! I work from home on my own schedule. So I’m generally open and have the ability to move other commitments, if needed. I’m excited to be taking on a few extra per tasks per day. I have a four bedroom house with securely fenced yard. Only occupied by myself and my friendly, easy-going 10yr old Labradoodle, Reddington. When I was in need of dog sitter Rover provided me with someone who took care of and loved my dogs just as much as I did. It motivated me to want to be that person for other people. I will love and spoil your animal as if they were my own. Allowing you to leave them knowing they are being well taken care of. I have a fully fenced in yard and I would make any special arrangements as far as feeding, crating etc that would be needed for your animal.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I could remember. I love them so much. Everyone calls me the dog whisperer whenever they need a helping hand with their fur babies. I do charge an additional fee for gas, due to gas prices being so high and the high intake I receive from my guests. I currently work part time but I’m available usually after 9am throughout the week. I do work weekends usually but I can be flexible with stopping in the morning and evenings times for your fur babies. I am temporarily in a transition moving right now, for the Army National Guard. I am living at Home until I receive my new orders. So I will come to you for any of your visits you need for your fur babies!

“John was great from the start! I inquired about using him as a last minute weekend sitter. I was in full panic mode because our usual sitter was unavailable due to emergency. John arranged a meet and greet several hours later where he and our dog took to each other instantly. His house is clean and accommodating for a pup, or more! His fenced in backyard is great and the neighborhood he is in is quiet and safe. The very next morning is when we needed him for, so our dog was dropped off bright and early. I got a couple updates a day via messages and every message included at least 3-4 photos and videos. From the start you could tell he was attentive based on the questions he was asking me. We’ve never used Rover before and Luna has never stayed with anyone other than a few family members so it was a first for all of us. “Where do I even begin? Heidi and her family were life savers. I had a different host that I had booked well over a month before my trip, and on the day of drop off I could not get a hold of her. I was in pure panic mode, and I found Heidi. She lives even closer to my home so that was another bonus. I got all the pictures and updates constantly. She treated my fur baby as if she were her own. She gave my girl a homemade pup cup, sweet potato and rice on her food, and all the snuggles. I know that she was truly in the best hands, and the first host falling through was a blessing in disguise. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Samantha and her partner Zachary took fabulous care of our two dogs for three days. They are both high energy young dogs, one 7 months and one 13 months old and we were worried that they were going to be a problem. They love each other, romping like crazy with each other indoors and out and Samantha and Zach had no problem dealing with them. When we went to pick them up, it was obvious that both dogs really liked their caregivers. What more can one hope for in someone taking care of their dogs? About: I just lost my 13.5 year old shepherd, I have been skilled in taking care of him and his old age and needs, I spent his whole life training him in German and English. I spend all day with dogs and know dog behavior very well, I have worked in boarding facility’s giving meds and food and walking dogs and learning their specific personalities.
