About: My house has been full of pets for as long as I can remember. I grew up with three cats of my own, both indoor and outdoor, as well as several family members dogs, including Cocker Spaniels and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I was also fortunate enough to spend time around neighborhood dogs that became a big part of my childhood. Over the years, my family has cared for many cats. We currently have six indoor cats ranging in age from nine years to six months. Every one of them was taken in as a stray when they were less than a month old, and we raised them ourselves. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have spend years helping neighbors with their dogs. I have regularly babysat, boarded, and walked dogs of various breeds, including a Goldendoodle and a Jack Russell Terrier. Being surrounded by so many different animals has taught me how to adapt my care to each pet's individual needs. Pets have always been an important part of my life, and the experience I have gained caring for them has given me a deep appreciation for the responsibility, patients, and companionship that come with animal care. I am home for college for the summer (June-August), so I have an extremely flexible schedule. I am available to help out at you and your pets convince. I have a secluded backyard along with a large, walkable neighborhood and fields and trails within walking distance. There are cats inside the house and dogs in neighboring yards. I am happy to provide your dog with its own, cat-free room if it's preferred.

About: I’ve been an EMT for over 20 years and have lots of experience walking during 911 calls into homes where the pets were nervous and scared. I was always the one in the crew to be the one to help them relax and trust that they weren’t in danger. I currently work at the hospital, and own a big home with fenced in back yard and am available to do check ins, sitting and overnights on weekends, either in my home or yours. I have a fenced in yard and only one kitty. Her name is Lily and she would love the company, as her brother Jinx of 13 years just passed away and they were pals and did everything together.

About: 20 plus years experienced caretaker. I've rescued, fostered and adopted senior pets, pregnant mamas, puppies and the like. I have experience with walks, overnights, administering meds, wound care and of course snuggles. I work a pretty flexible part time schedule of afternoon and early evening hours a few days a week that allows me to schedule visits as needed to accommodate your pets schedule. However I am instructed to do so by the owner. In my home, I have a fenced in yard, there is also a dog park in the community. I have animal crates if needed. Large and small depending upon what is needed. I also have a silly dog of my own at home as a companion.

About: I’ve taken care of many animals, including reptiles and rodents. There’s no animal that I don’t know how to not take care of all animals are welcome. I work early in the mornings I work 4 AM to 12 afternoon. I’m able to be there for the afternoon afternoons and nights for your animal and up the road if anything happens. I have saved environment for the animal. I do not have fence,but I do have a backyard that I can walk the dog around or cat around. About: As a kid I was taught responsibility by caring for our horses, cats, dogs, birds, fish and guinea pigs. I’ve had pets all my life! My mom’s cat almost died of a bacterial infection in her mouth and I’ve helped administer antibiotics to her until she got better. I had a cat who had kidney disease and needed to have IV fluids every week. My other cat had to be mouth fed with a syringe as well as monitored via thermometer up his butt. I have house and pet sit for friends and family that have multiple pets, most recently for a friend that had 6 dogs of all sizes! I am an active individual so walking will be a treat for them and me! :) I have given dogs and cats baths and also cared for dogs in heat. I have a very open and wide range of availability and I am available most days, including weekends and holidays as I rarely ever go out of town. It would be great to develop some long term relationships with new pets and their owners! Repeats are always great but not expected. I will do what I can to work with your schedule and the needs of you and your fur child. I will do my best to maintain consistency and high-level care when it comes to your pet. Each pet is different and I try to get to know each one individually in order to gain their trust and yours and provide the best care possible. Often times, I will send pictures to the pet owner, especially if it is a new client or a pet owner is out of town for an extended amount of time. I am easily reachable and try to communicate clearly about wants, needs, and scheduling. I prefer to do a meet and greet prior to providing a service, but it is not mandatory, especially for last minute bookings! We have a small yard in front and neighbors that will walk their dogs but they are all on leashes and well behaved. We live in a newer and safe community and I often take my dog for a walk around the neighborhood. There is a small park down the street which is nice too. We also have a fenced in backyard which can be seen from the inside of the house or the porch. We live in a one story house, but there are steps from the porch to the yard outback. My husband lives with me and has also grown up with cats and dogs. We currently have one male cat Santiago who gets along great with our male Chihuahua Juan Pablo and also got along great with my former senior Maine coon cat. He is a bit weary of strangers at first, but he will just hide until he gets to know you a bit and then you won’t be able to get him off of your lap. We have a gate in between the kitchen and the rest of the house so that the Chihuahua can have free rain to walk around and not have to be in his cage when we are not home. In the event that we have another animal in the house we can keep the Chihuahua in his cage. We also have two bedrooms and two baths that can be used to separate animals.The Chihuahua is very friendly and gets along great with the cat. He is also a bit skittish at first with strangers but once he gets to know you all he wants to do is give you kisses. He is very non-aggressive and barely ever barks. He is also very friendly. I feed my cat both wet and dry food twice a day in his food dish and he has water out constantly. I feed the dog twice a day, sometimes dry food, and sometimes refrigerated dog food. I let the dog out several times a day and we go for a daily walk as well. I clean the kitty litter box once a day. I snuggle and cuddle with both of them as much as possible, and play fetch with the dog at various points throughout the day.

While I love animals, I realized that massive, chaotic pack environments aren't the best fit for my philosophy of care—or for many dogs. I transitioned to independent pet sitting so I could give individual animals the quiet, focused, and low-stress attention they truly deserve. Because of my professional background, I am highly trained in dog body language, safety protocols, and keeping pets calm and happy. Your dog will never have to compete for attention or feel overwhelmed here! About: I got my first dog when I was in 3rd grade and couldn't imagine life without them now. I spent the last 12 years working with animals as well as having a full house at home. Both my dogs, champ and Oliver, I raised from 8 weeks old and did all their training myself. I have been doing walks and drop ins for 2 years now and have references available upon request! I am a stay at home mom so it's very easy to fit in providing the excellent care for your fur babies to my schedule! I can do anything needed, whether it's basic a stop during the day or if you need more specific detailed care like medicine administered. We will adjust my care routine to the needs of your fur baby.

About: I have been taking care of my personal pets and assisting family with theirs since I was about 12. I have experience mostly with cats and dogs(everything from feeding and bathing to grooming and administering medication, I don’t do nails though), but I can also take care of basic needs for birds such as feeding/water and cleaning cages. I currently do gig work so I have as much time as I need or you want to take care of your pets and make sure they get some love! Your home your rules! About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.
