I want to help ease those nerves and give your pets the best time while you are away! plenty of belly rubs and cuddles. I can send updates to you when I am with them!

We truly appreciated her professionalism and kindness, and we would not hesitate to book her again in the future. Highly recommend!”

About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I have just completed my first year of Veterinary Technician school and have done 3 different internships in the field. I am very well versed with simple care, medications, and most importantly love for the animals! My schedule fluctuates very frequently as I have a part time job and im also completeing an internship, however I can easily work my schedule around whatever the animals need! I have a fenced yard with a very friendly pup at home. I can also let your pet in and out of crates, give treats and/or medications, take them on walks, and anything else they may need.
“Payton was very nice to work with and took care of my 2 cats. One is a bit nervous and this was his first time with a sitter and je even let her pet him. I would recommend her.”

About: I’ve spent years caring for animals of all ages — from energetic young puppies to senior dogs needing medication and a softer touch. My background working with animals (including horses and dogs) has given me strong skills in reading body language, managing different energy levels, and keeping pets calm, safe, and happy. I know how to balance play with structure for young pups, and I have the patience and attentiveness to support older dogs who may need slower walks, potty breaks, or extra cuddles. I’m available weekdays during school hours, which means you can count on me for consistent mid-morning, lunchtime, and early afternoon walks or visits. • Weekdays: 9 AM – 2 PM (perfect for mid-day breaks) • Evenings/Weekends: Available on request This routine lets me focus fully on your pets when most owners are away at work. Safety is always my top priority — especially for young puppies and older dogs. Walks are always on-leash, and I keep routes safe and calm, avoiding busy roads and overstimulating environments. For drop-ins, I follow your routine exactly — meals, water refresh, potty breaks, playtime, and medications if needed. I double-check everything before leaving, and I send updates with photos so you always know how your pup is doing.
About: I’ve been a proud pet owner for over 13 years and can’t imagine life without animals in my home. I currently have an 11-year-old dog and two kids, so I’m no stranger to juggling love, care, and responsibility. From playful puppies to senior dogs, I’ve cared for pets at all stages of life and understand the patience, attention, and affection each stage requires. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and treat every dog as if they were part of my own family. Whether it’s playtime, snuggles, or just making sure they’re happy and comfortable, I love being able to give pets the care they deserve. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. Between my own dog and kids, I’m used to keeping a consistent schedule with walks, feeding, playtime, and downtime. I make sure pets get the right balance of exercise, attention, and comfort throughout the day. Whether it’s adding an extra walk, stopping in for playtime, or providing overnight care, I can easily fit pet care into my week because animals are already such an important part of my life. When pets stay in my home for boarding, they’re welcomed as part of the family. I provide a safe, cozy environment with plenty of playtime, snuggles, and exercise to make them feel right at home. For drop-in visits, I follow each pet’s routine closely — feeding, refreshing water, giving potty breaks, playtime, and any special care they need. During walks, I make sure pets get both exercise and fun while keeping their safety my top priority. No matter the service, I treat every pet like my own, giving them the love, attention, and consistency they deserve.
“Had to take a quick trip out of town and Dionna took great care of my pup Rooney. Sent multiple pictures and gave me many updates on how he was doing! Will absolutely book again.”

About: Animal Handling Experience - I have been caring for animals as a career consistently for the last 3 years. I have been working as a Veterinary Assistant for the last eight months at a reputable animal hospital and have truly found my calling in life. I feel that my experience in the veterinary field provides both pet owners and myself peace of mind when your animals are under my supervision. I know what little symptoms are concerning and important to note that others may miss. I make sure to track bathroom habits and meals. I am confident managing and giving medications to your pets while you are away. Dog Walking - Extensive experience walking and caring for multiple dogs at one time. I am very popular within my neighborhood and my family to care for dogs when people don't have time, and I am always punctual. I like the walks to be enjoyable for the dogs, not just a task that the walker has to complete. Overnight Stays - During overnight stays I also offer to bring in mail, packages, and water plants. When I care for an animal I make sure they receive special attention that goes beyond food and water. I play with them and provide enrichment, walks, and exercise. This includes visits as frequently as requested and caring for all the animals' special needs. I enjoy spending time with all animals, so if there are any other critters in the home I would love to help take care of them as well. I currently have a lively aquarium and have previously kept birds and reptiles so I am comfortable looking after our fur-less friends. I currently work four days a week and my shifts are approximately from 7am-6pm. My days off are a bit varied but I get my schedule almost a month in advance so I am able to commit confidently to future events. I care for your pets however you need. I understand that some animals have truly interesting quirks and I'm ready to do whatever your fur baby needs. Do we need to sing a specific song to go into our crate? Do we have a 15 step dinner routine? I am here for it all, and I'll be talking to your pet throughout every step.

About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.
About: I’ve taken care of all different breeds for about 9 years. I started dog sitting in highschool within my family and friends and then was referred to other clients! I am home all day so your pup will never be alone and will be actively playing all day! My goal is to make your fur baby as comfortable as possible here, like they are at home. I provide all dog bowls, beds, toys etc. I use non toxic cleaning supplies and provide filtered water only. **Daycare services will end effective March 1st (open 7am- close 5pm)** I have a dog of my own to keep yours company while I’m gone. I have a big fully fenced in yard and your pet is allowed free range throughout the house.
About: I have taken care of many animals over the years such as cats, dogs, hampsters, chickens, rabbits, ducks, cows and horses. I am a mom to two children, 3 dogs, and a cat. I am very well trusted by all of my friends and family and will always provide the best care possible. I work part time and create my own schedule so my hours are very flexible. We can work together on fulfilling your animals needs and cares. I will travel to you so there will be no need to transfer your pet from location to location. This way they can feel comfortable.
About: I love animals and have over 20 years of animal care experience from growing up in a home with cats, dogs, horses, and doing lots of pet sitting over the years as well! I have also worked and volunteered at a few animal rescues, including a rabbit rescue, a feral cat sanctuary, and a rescue donkey farm! My elderly dog recently passed and the house has been empty and I would love to board and care for pets at least until I'm ready for another pet of my own! Please note that I have some neck issues and I am currently unable to walk large dogs that might pull hard on the leash. I am able to care for large dogs as long as they have an area they can run around in and I can walk smaller dogs just fine! My own yard is fenced in. I am an artist and yoga teacher so I am home most of the day. I have plenty of time and plenty of love to give to all the furbabies. I have a house and a fenced in yard and live in a nice area to take walks around. My home is clean and dog friendly.
About: I have experience with most animals from farm animals to precious house pets. I currently am a nurse at a local facility and try to keep my availability updated however my schedule changes at times due to my work schedule so feel free to verify availability . Thank you for your understanding. I have a female and male cat who are familiar with other pets. Your pet will have full range of our home. Pets will be walked frequently and on leash.
About: Hi there! My name is Natalia and I live in South Burlington my little 12 year old fur baby (pug/daschund mix). I can understand and relate to the stress and importance of finding a trustworthy care giver. I would love to be able to give the kind of care to your little one like I would expect for my own. South Burlington and Williston area would work the best for me. I would love to meet your family and spend time with your little fur baby! :) I would be available Monday through Friday after 5pm (and before 8:30am depending on situation) and any time Saturday and Sunday. Willing to be flexible! 😁 My sweet Harley boy is an older pup who has incontinence and regularly wears diapers, so we understand that special pets sometimes have special needs!
About: I got my first dog when I was in 3rd grade and couldn't imagine life without them now. I spent the last 12 years working with animals as well as having a full house at home. Both my dogs, champ and Oliver, I raised from 8 weeks old and did all their training myself. I have been doing walks and drop ins for 2 years now and have references available upon request! I am a stay at home mom so it's very easy to fit in providing the excellent care for your fur babies to my schedule! I can do anything needed, whether it's basic a stop during the day or if you need more specific detailed care like medicine administered. We will adjust my care routine to the needs of your fur baby.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
