Availability
June 2026: I am recovering from an ankle injury and therefore am unavailable for dog walks. Happy to do drop-in visits to take care of meals and potty breaks if there is a backyard. Thank you for understanding at this time. My schedule is very flexible. Please note, during house sitting, I’ll need to step out for a few hours in the morning and evening to give insulin to my cat and take care of errands and any visits/walks. Because of this, I cannot accept any bookings that require constant care - only pets that can be left alone at least 4+ hours at a time. Rest assured, I’ll still be spending the majority of my time in your home. Additionally, I don't often accept drop-in visits/walks before 7:30am or after 8:30pm, or if they are further than about 15m away. I'm happy to accept housesits that are outside of my service range (~15-30m away) but I may need to slightly adjust rates to account for that, given that I will need to travel back and forth to my regularly scheduled bookings if not nearby.

A typical day
Aside from tons of snuggles, I like playing fetch, tug-of-war, or just getting outside for a walk. If it’s something your dog enjoys, I’m happy to bring them to the dog park or for a car ride with your permission.

Pet care experience
I’m a compassionate and empathetic animal lover with lifelong experience caring for both cats and dogs; I have been pet sitting on Rover for a year. I've volunteered at the Saratoga County Animal Shelter, and I’m proud to be Fear Free Certified. I've completed a certification course in Pet CPR and First Aid, as well as the Certified Pet Expert training online from Kyle Haubrich. I have hands-on experience administering oral medications and subcutaneous injections through caring for my own pets. Overall, animals have always held a special place in my heart, and I do everything I can to make sure they feel safe, understood, and loved.

Evi had four excellent walks with Amber in the last week. Amber is great and has really bonded with Evi. Highly recommend!
Amber was great. Right on time, asked good questions to get acquainted with Evi, and took her for a nice introductory walk. We will be scheduling more walks with Amber starting next week.
