Pet care experience
Friendly, Reliable Pet Care
I’m a compassionate and empathetic animal lover with lifelong experience caring for both cats and dogs; I have been pet sitting on Rover for over a year. I've volunteered at the Saratoga County Animal Shelter, and I’m proud to be Fear Free Certified. I've completed a certification course in Pet CPR and First Aid, as well as the Certified Pet Expert training online from Kyle Haubrich. I have hands-on experience administering oral medications and subcutaneous injections through caring for my own pets. Overall, animals have always held a special place in my heart, and I do everything I can to make sure they feel safe, understood, and loved.

Safety, trust & environment
I take every precaution to ensure pets are safe, comfortable, and cared for. Before leaving, I always check and make sure every pet is accounted for and at ease. Their wellbeing is my priority, and I treat them with the same love and attention I give my own animals.
Ratings and reviews
Amber was wonderful with my six-year-old Great Dane, Taylor, who really hasn't been away from Dad for many nights. Amber understood Taylor's separation anxiety and provided a calm and reassuring presence for the time I was away. Tay ate more than I expected, played in the yard more than I expected, and hung out with Amber more than I expected. I could not be happier with how things went. Amber provided pictures and didn't hesitate to ask me questions when necessary; exactly what I want in a sitter. Plus, the house was cleaner when I returned than when I left. I have already booked Amber for a second sit, one night longer this time. With many to come I'm sure.

Thank you for taking such great care of our kitties, as always!!🤍
We had Amber stop in for our 3 pups over the weekend. She was great with them. On time, sent us pictures. Dogs looked happy. We would highly recommend her to our friends.

Amber was great with my Forrest! She came to let him out last minute which was a life saver! Thanks for taking care of our Forrest, glad I have someone I can trust!

Thank you Amber!!
Amber did a great job with my 2 cats who haven’t had a sitter in awhile. She took care of all their needs and was very communicative. They were a bit shy but she brushed and played with them and everything was clean and tidy.

Schedule
Sep 2026: I've recently had an ankle injury and am unavailable for full dog walks. Happy to do drop-in visits to take care of meals and potty breaks if there is a backyard, or to do short walks as long as the dogs aren't big pullers. Thank you for understanding at this time. My schedule is very flexible. Please note, during house sitting, I’ll need to step out in the morning and evening to give insulin to my cat and take care of errands and any other bookings. Because of this, I cannot accept house sits that require constant care - only pets that can be left alone at least 4 hours at a time. Rest assured, I’ll still be spending the majority of my time in your home. Additionally, I don't typically accept visits before 7:30am or after 8:30pm, or if they are further than 10-15m away. I'm happy to accept house sits that are outside of my service range (~15-30m away) but I may need to slightly adjust rates to account for that, given that I will need to travel back and forth to my regularly scheduled bookings.

- Please tell me how long your pet can be left alone, any medical needs, behavioral concerns, dietary restrictions, or unique quirks. I need to know of any aggression issues, and what situations affect them specifically. Anything else you believe is important is important to me, and I’m happy to adjust and provide care that fits your pet’s needs.
