About: *Not booking past September 13th, apologies!* With over 5 years of experience, I have cared for many breeds, from 120lb Cane Corsos to 6lb chihuahuas. This also includes all kinds of temperaments, and I am especially prepared to care for reactive and/or aggressive dogs (including multi-dog households) and dogs with separation anxiety. I am experienced with puppies under the age of 1 year, and seniors up to the age of 16. I have cared for blind and deaf dogs. I am K-9 First Aide certified and am able to administer oral and subcutaneous medication. I am Fear Free certified. I also have experience with cats, small animals/rodents, chicken flocks, and reptiles. I will be home with your dogs far more often than not, but I may step out for a few hours to run errands and care for my own pets at home. I will treat your home and pets with the utmost care and respect, as I know there is a great amount of trust involved. As well as keeping the house safe and locked, I can crate dogs as needed and create a calm environment. I am also K-9 First Aide and Fear Free certified.
“On short notice, Stephanie was able to stop in and check on my cat when I went away for 5 days. My cat is really shy but even came out from behind the couch on the last day Stephanie was checking in on her.”

“Jessika is a star pet sitter! We took a long-delayed special trip and really dreaded leaving our cat for 12 days. Jessika took great care of him and kept in touch with us so we did not worry. Her photos and details are reassuring, and she always goes above-and-beyond. Thank you Jessika and Rover!”

“Amber was absolutely incredible and we're so glad we booked her. She was so caring and attentive with our dog, Zero. She was extremely communicative, professional, detailed, and reliable. It can be nerve-racking to leave your pet with someone, especially someone new, but you can rest assured that your pet will be well taken care of by Amber. We are both thankful for her care. I highly recommend Amber and look forward to rebooking with her the next time we need care for our dog.”

“I’m so thankful I found Aurora, I was so nervous to leave Taco and she totally put my mind at ease. She communicated throughout her drop-in visits and sent plenty of pictures and videos so I knew he was fed, hydrated, and happy. I would definitely use her services again and would recommend her to anyone who needs a reliable and attentive sitter for their fur baby!”

“Grace was wonderful. On time.got photos or 3 dogs. Came home to halt calm dogs and a clean house. Grace was pleasant to meet. A pleasure to when with. We will call on her again. Thank you”

“I reached out to Brittney at the last minute one evening and needed someone for the next day. She was great and responded quick to help out. She treated my dog amazing and would definitely recommend and will be reaching out to her again! Thank you!!”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover who has grown up around dogs and understands that they're more than just pets—they're family. I've personally trained both of my family's dogs, giving me experience with basic obedience, reinforcing good behaviors, and understanding each dog's unique personality and needs. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with someone who enjoys their company, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your four-legged family member, and I'll treat your dog with the same patience, attention, and affection I'd give my own. My goal is to provide dependable care, regular updates, and plenty of love so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I can't wait to meet you and your pup! I work in the golf industry and that has allowed me to create my own schedule as well as work both in office and from home. I am more than happy to cater my work schedule to the needs of your pup! I keep my space tidy and contained so that both puppies and adult dogs alike can thrive without finding trouble, and live in a very walkable area. I have found plenty of great short and long hiking spots in the area that are perfect for getting your pups' energy out for longer stays or higher-energy breeds.
About: Hi, I’m Shawn! I have spent the last few years working in a professional doggy daycare and boarding facility. While I love animals, I realized that massive, chaotic pack environments aren't the best fit for my philosophy of care—or for many dogs. I transitioned to independent pet sitting so I could give individual animals the quiet, focused, and low-stress attention they truly deserve. Because of my professional background, I am highly trained in dog body language, safety protocols, and keeping pets calm and happy. Your dog will never have to compete for attention or feel overwhelmed here! I do work part time but i am very interested, thoroughly enjoy working with animals and looking to pet sit/walk/board full time!! Thank you! I have a nice big open yard at my home, I do have 3 cats inside my home. In clients homes i always make sure the boundaries and any feeding/medication instructions are clear and precise!
About: I’ve taken care of many animals, including reptiles and rodents. There’s no animal that I don’t know how to not take care of all animals are welcome. I work early in the mornings I work 4 AM to 12 afternoon. I’m able to be there for the afternoon afternoons and nights for your animal and up the road if anything happens. I have saved environment for the animal. I do not have fence, but I do have a backyard that I can walk the dog around or cat around. I do have one cat in my roommate has two but they’re all very friendly.
“Nicole was so sweet! She was our first rover sitter and it couldn’t have gone better! We booked her for multiple drop in visits while we were away and she took the time to feed her and hang out with her. Would highly recommend!”

About: I have grown up with several dogs and cats that I have taken care of. My dad is also a dog trainer, so I often go out on walks and play with the dogs he cares for. I am very active, so your pets will never be bored! My schedule varies biweekly, so I am home every other week. The weeks I am off i have lots of free time, so I can be very flexible. The weeks I do have to work, I work nights, so I can be free during the afternoons for walks or drop-ins. I live without children, so your pets will be my priority. I have a fenced in yard for your pets to play in! I do own two cats and share my mom’s small dog part time, so i prefer pets that are friendly with other animals! If your pet needs to be crated I can accommodate that, but I also allow pets on furniture and on the bed if that is what they are used to at home. I am very flexible and am willing to accommodate most things to make your pets feel comfortable.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life. I adopted my own dog back in 2021 and also have a German Shepard. I frequently do drop ins for family friends. I am an animal LOVER. I work full time from 7-3:30 so I am available for late afternoon/evening appointments, and weekend appointments. Also would love to bring my own dog with me if allowed. I will gladly keep your dog on or off leash, whichever you prefer and will follow any and all feeding, training, potty requests that you write down for me!
About: My mother owns 4 dogs and I had to constantly care for them while she was away at work. I will do anything for your dog that needs to be done. I love dogs and will consider them like family no matter what happens I feel for every animal that I come across because I do not want them to be in any pain or without things that they need on a daily basis. I hope that you and your dogs will be satisfied with the care that your dogs get each and every day. I never do anything without the owners consent because it is not my place to make the call as were on what the dogs truly need. I keep everything simple for you and your dogs and will not let anything happen to you or your dogs.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Glens Falls
Sarah took our booking super last minute and set up a meet and greet right away. She was attentive and followed all of our instructions to a T. She sent us lots of pictures and a note after each visit. Last minute vet visit resulted in her having to administer medication. I would highly recommend Sarah and I will keep her in mind for the future.

Jessika is such an excellent pet sitter. She is so conscientious, we feel comfortable leaving our pet in her care, even over longer periods when we really would worry otherwise. She communicates not only his moods but his eccentricities, knows what he likes, and really keeps his spirits up when we are away. Thank you Jessika (and Rover).

We had a wonderful experience with Sue over the past two days caring for our dogs. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly attentive to their needs. It gave us great peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands while we were away. Our dogs were happy, well cared for, and received plenty of attention and exercise. We truly appreciated her professionalism and kindness, and we would not hesitate to book her again in the future. Highly recommend!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
