This also includes all kinds of temperaments, and I am especially prepared to care for reactive and/or aggressive dogs (including multi-dog households) and dogs with separation anxiety. I am experienced with puppies under the age of 1 year, and seniors up to the age of 16. I have cared for blind and deaf dogs. I am K-9 First Aide certified and am able to administer oral and subcutaneous medication. I am Fear Free certified. I also have experience with cats, small animals/rodents, chicken flocks, and reptiles. I will be home with your dogs far more often than not, but I may step out for a few hours to run errands and care for my own pets at home. I will treat your home and pets with the utmost care and respect, as I know there is a great amount of trust involved. About: I have grown up with several dogs and cats that I have taken care of. My dad is also a dog trainer, so I often go out on walks and play with the dogs he cares for. I am very active, so your pets will never be bored! My schedule varies biweekly, so I am home every other week. The weeks I am off i have lots of free time, so I can be very flexible. The weeks I do have to work, I work nights, so I can be free during the afternoons for walks or drop-ins. I live without children, so your pets will be my priority. I have a fenced in yard for your pets to play in! I do own two cats and share my mom’s small dog part time, so i prefer pets that are friendly with other animals! If your pet needs to be crated I can accommodate that, but I also allow pets on furniture and on the bed if that is what they are used to at home. I am very flexible and am willing to accommodate most things to make your pets feel comfortable.
About: I have loved taking care of dogs my entire life. I am lucky enough to be able to help with my five grand dogs. All very different ages and personalities. I’m currently semi retired and looking forward to doing something that I love. “Meghan was great! The last time we hired a walker, one of our pups didn’t walk. He wouldn’t leave the house and we had to call in a favor from family. We asked Meghan to meet the dogs and cat before her first walk, and we found her to be calm, polite, and very pleasant around the dogs. They warmed up to her immediately. While we were gone, she walked the dogs twice a day, including the one who was socially anxious. Our house looked great when we got home and the animals were in very good spirits. She even went above and beyond what we asked by taking time to play with them. We had an extra weird request of feeding our axolotls and cleaning any poop and she was a champion with that. I can’t say enough good things about her but I don’t think my review could compare to my cat’s. We have one cat who has never come out for anyone while we weren’t there and after 3 days he came out for her every single day.
