About: Animals are too good for humankind, so they should be treated like absolute royalty. I grew up with cats and had a small but successful dog-walking and pet-sitting business in my neighborhood growing up. I am more than happy to treat your pet as if they were my own <3 I am currently unemployed and searching for a new job, but in the meantime, outside of my rugby schedule, I am available to take care of your pets! To make sure your pet feels as comfortable as possible while you are away, I would love to learn their typical routine at home and their interests!

About: I have grown up with several dogs and cats that I have taken care of. My dad is also a dog trainer, so I often go out on walks and play with the dogs he cares for. I am very active, so your pets will never be bored! My schedule varies biweekly, so I am home every other week. The weeks I am off i have lots of free time, so I can be very flexible. The weeks I do have to work, I work nights, so I can be free during the afternoons for walks or drop-ins. I live without children, so your pets will be my priority. I have a fenced in yard for your pets to play in! I do own two cats and share my mom’s small dog part time, so i prefer pets that are friendly with other animals! If your pet needs to be crated I can accommodate that, but I also allow pets on furniture and on the bed if that is what they are used to at home. I am very flexible and am willing to accommodate most things to make your pets feel comfortable.

About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I have just completed my first year of Veterinary Technician school and have done 3 different internships in the field. I am very well versed with simple care, medications, and most importantly love for the animals! My schedule fluctuates very frequently as I have a part time job and im also completeing an internship, however I can easily work my schedule around whatever the animals need! I have a fenced yard with a very friendly pup at home. I can also let your pet in and out of crates, give treats and/or medications, take them on walks, and anything else they may need.

About: I’ve been a proud pet owner for over 13 years and can’t imagine life without animals in my home. I currently have an 11-year-old dog and two kids, so I’m no stranger to juggling love, care, and responsibility. From playful puppies to senior dogs, I’ve cared for pets at all stages of life and understand the patience, attention, and affection each stage requires. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and treat every dog as if they were part of my own family. Whether it’s playtime, snuggles, or just making sure they’re happy and comfortable, I love being able to give pets the care they deserve. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. Between my own dog and kids, I’m used to keeping a consistent schedule with walks, feeding, playtime, and downtime. I make sure pets get the right balance of exercise, attention, and comfort throughout the day. Whether it’s adding an extra walk, stopping in for playtime, or providing overnight care, I can easily fit pet care into my week because animals are already such an important part of my life. When pets stay in my home for boarding, they’re welcomed as part of the family. I provide a safe, cozy environment with plenty of playtime, snuggles, and exercise to make them feel right at home. For drop-in visits, I follow each pet’s routine closely — feeding, refreshing water, giving potty breaks, playtime, and any special care they need. During walks, I make sure pets get both exercise and fun while keeping their safety my top priority. No matter the service, I treat every pet like my own, giving them the love, attention, and consistency they deserve.

About: What sets me apart is the genuine care and attention I give every pet. I have a German Shepherd puppy of my own who is currently in training and has already graduated level one classes, so I understand the importance of structure, patience, exercise, and positive reinforcement. He also regularly attends daycare and is very well cared for, which has given me hands-on experience with socialization and daily routines. I know every pet has a different personality and comfort level, and I make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or sticking to a routine, I treat every pet like family and keep owners updated so they can feel at ease too. I have two cats at home, and caring for my cats has taught me how important patience, gentleness, and respecting each animal’s personality is. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, playtime, litter box care, and giving cats the calm attention they need to feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away! Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I’m great with time management and already structure my days around caring for animals. I currently work twice a month at the hospital as a Patient Care Tech, and I also work retail shifts at the outlets that are usually only 5–6 hours long. This gives me plenty of flexibility and time to provide attentive care, walks, playtime, feeding, and updates for pets. Since I also care for my own dog daily, pet care is already an important part of my everyday life. I am an early riser and can stay up as long as your pet needs! I prefer caring for pets in their own home because it helps them stay comfortable in a familiar environment and keeps their normal routine consistent. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, feeding, fresh water, and lots of care while their owners are away. I also pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs so they feel safe, relaxed, and loved. I’m respectful of clients’ homes, keep things clean and organized, and provide updates and photos so owners can feel reassured while they’re away.

About: Animal Handling Experience - I have been caring for animals as a career consistently for the last 3 years. I have been working as a Veterinary Assistant for the last eight months at a reputable animal hospital and have truly found my calling in life. I feel that my experience in the veterinary field provides both pet owners and myself peace of mind when your animals are under my supervision. I know what little symptoms are concerning and important to note that others may miss. I make sure to track bathroom habits and meals. I am confident managing and giving medications to your pets while you are away. Dog Walking - Extensive experience walking and caring for multiple dogs at one time. I am very popular within my neighborhood and my family to care for dogs when people don't have time, and I am always punctual. I like the walks to be enjoyable for the dogs, not just a task that the walker has to complete. Overnight Stays - During overnight stays I also offer to bring in mail, packages, and water plants. When I care for an animal I make sure they receive special attention that goes beyond food and water. I play with them and provide enrichment, walks, and exercise. This includes visits as frequently as requested and caring for all the animals' special needs. I enjoy spending time with all animals, so if there are any other critters in the home I would love to help take care of them as well. I currently have a lively aquarium and have previously kept birds and reptiles so I am comfortable looking after our fur-less friends. I currently work four days a week and my shifts are approximately from 7am-6pm. My days off are a bit varied but I get my schedule almost a month in advance so I am able to commit confidently to future events. I care for your pets however you need. I understand that some animals have truly interesting quirks and I'm ready to do whatever your fur baby needs. Do we need to sing a specific song to go into our crate? Do we have a 15 step dinner routine? I am here for it all, and I'll be talking to your pet throughout every step.

“Meghan was great! The last time we hired a walker, one of our pups didn’t walk. He wouldn’t leave the house and we had to call in a favor from family. We asked Meghan to meet the dogs and cat before her first walk, and we found her to be calm, polite, and very pleasant around the dogs. They warmed up to her immediately. While we were gone, she walked the dogs twice a day, including the one who was socially anxious. Our house looked great when we got home and the animals were in very good spirits. We will definitely use Meghan again!”

I would love to meet your family and spend time with your little fur baby! :) I would be available Monday through Friday after 5pm (and before 8:30am depending on situation) and any time Saturday and Sunday. Willing to be flexible! 😁 My sweet Harley boy is an older pup who has incontinence and regularly wears diapers, so we understand that special pets sometimes have special needs!

“Mark M. is now a member of our extended family! I would hire him to take care of my kids! Mark came for a meet and greet with Buddy (the dog) and Dewey (the cat) before we left. We provided written instructions for Mark indicating where the food was and including the feeding schedule. Mark took it from there, visit thrice daily for feeding and fun. On some days, he brought his pal, Suki, much to Buddy's delight as they romped together in the meadow.
