About: I'm very calm and patient with all animals. My style is to allow them to warm to me and once they are comfortable, I enjoy playing and running around with them or giving cuddles. When we go for walks, I'm careful of other dogs and humans.. I have owned a dog most of my young adult life. I can't have one now because of where I live, but I care for my mom's Shepard and I care for my friends' dogs regularly when they go out of town or just can't get home to let them out. And sometimes I just drop in to play a game of catch or take them out for a hike. I have a cat, and he is my world. I'm currently working full time from home, so I can make time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends and after 5pm on weekdays. I live in an apartment, but there are sidewalks all along the development for easy walks and parks and trails nearby. I have a cat but he has his own big room to play and sleep in if your pup doesn't get along with him (he's not aggressive at all, just trepidatious around strangers)

“Victoria is very helpful and responsible. She kept me updated on any issue she saw with my dog during the visit and ensure that my dog has fresh water.”

“Today was Chrystine’s first visit. She is very kind and took lots of notes during our meet and greet. I feel very comfortable with her at my home watching my baby girl. She’s very informative and my dog loves playing with her. I will definitely be booking her on a weekly basis. I would highly recommend her. Thank you”

“We've used Alissa twice and she's done an amazing job with our dog. She arrives right on time and sends plenty of pictures. She's extremely reliable and we wouldn't hesitate to use her again.”

About: I have taken care of birds, cats, and dogs for my entire life. I am currently enrolled in an animal science technical school program which has taught me professional care, grooming, and medication administration. I am animal CPR + choking management certified, as well as Fear Free certified. I am currently employed at a veterinary clinic, and previously at a doggy daycare. I have an intense passion for helping and caring for animals, and i'd love to meet your pet :) I'm currently in high school but graduate in June. I have breaks in between classes during the day and currently have a lot of free time after 2PM. I have been properly taught how to safely handle all companion animals in a Fear Free and safe manner, resulting in the least amount of stress and restraint as possible. I have also been 2x certified in CPR and choking management.

“Shaela did such a wonderful job! She was very thorough with her preparation for her visit. She did a great at job with communication during the whole process and showed my dogs plenty of love during her visit. I will definitely use her again!”

“Delia was very communicative and took so many pictures for me. As a first time Rover user this was such a good experience and I would definitely go back to Delia for any pet needs 🙂”

About: I currently live with 5 dogs, 3 cats, 2 bearded dragons, a leopard gecko and a hermit crab. There's no shortage of animal care within my house, but I've also had 3.5 years of dog daycare and boarding experience. In the past, I spent 3 months learning to pack walk and train. I do not offer training, but it would be helpful to know that I'm familiar with dog behavior and body language. Usually that brings some relief to people when entrusting a new person with their pets I'm between jobs at the moment and would love to continue making a living while combining my love for animals. Down the road, it would be nice to establish relationships with other pet owners and maybe start my own business revolving around pet care. I have pet sit for family friends in the past who had 3 dogs. One of them was a German Boxer and I was able to establish a friendly relationship with him. When he needed to go in his crate, he didn't give me a problem as soon as I put his leash on him. As for sleeping arrangements, I can crate dogs. If your dogs are friendly enough and it's okay with the owner themselves, I'm fine letting them sleep on the same bed and/or couch as me. If it isn't necessary to crate, they should have the freedom to move around as well.

“Dana has taking care of our 5 month old puppy for us twice a week at lunch time. She always shows up on time(usually early). We get lots of update pictures and a detailed report after every visit so I know he was well cared for. He always seems very happy in the pictures she sends. She follows all of our instructions and I always come home to find my home exactly as I had left it that morning. Dana is very responsive on the app which makes scheduling and coordinating easy. We are happy we found someone we trust to give Our puppy the best mid day crate breaks . We will continue to use Dana and recommend her to our friends.”

About: In my house, our pets are our family and they rule the house. My goal as a pet sitter is to provide animals with the best care and put owners at ease while they’re away. I have found a passion for caring for others’ animals which started many years ago when i began volunteering. From volunteering, I have experience with many different breeds and sizes of both dogs and cats and I also have experience administering medication, taking care of dogs with special needs, and LOTS of drool! By word of mouth, I have gained many clients in my area and continue to provide the best care I can for every family and their furry friends! I am currently a sophomore at Siena College. Therefore, while classes are in session, I stick to weekends only. In the summertime, I am available every day of the week and I typically work 4-6 hour days. I offer in-home care at the convenience of you and your pets. Boarding is expensive and pets are nowhere nears as spoiled as they would be with me! Keeping your pets in your home while you are gone will ease their anxiety (as well as yours) and provide the best level of comfort for them. I offer the in-home care as well as dog walking and occasional drop-ins!

About: My name is Madelyn and I am a dog mom, animal lover, and dog groomer. I have two dogs and two cats of my own. I spend most of my free time hiking in woods with my dogs. In the past, I’ve worked in multiple Vet offices and I currently work as a dog groomer in Queensbury, so I’m very comfortable around all dog breeds. I am pet first aid and CPR certified.
