His fenced in backyard is great and the neighborhood he is in is quiet and safe. The very next morning is when we needed him for, so our dog was dropped off bright and early. I got a couple updates a day via messages and every message included at least 3-4 photos and videos. From the start you could tell he was attentive based on the questions he was asking me. We’ve never used Rover before and Luna has never stayed with anyone other than a few family members so it was a first for all of us. We would 10/10 use John again and we hope this review helps others feel at ease with his services!! :)”

About: I have had cats my entire life up until last year when I had to put my baby Jack down for end stage kidney failure.

About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

She stayed in contact with us, made sure our cat took his meds, which is extremely important , and sat with him and pet him every visit so he wouldn't be lonely. She was prompt and stuck to her schedule. She made sure our cat had fresh water and food, and cleaned the litter box. We were anxious about leaving him but she demolished our fears and we were able to rest assured knowing our cat Maui was being well taken care of. We are so happy with her services and would recommend her to anyone with any pet!”

I frequently volunteer and work with local shelters and rescues, I also have worked as veterinary assistant for 2 years so I have a lot of experience with administering medications and emergencies! I currently have 3 dogs of my own, all are under 35 pounds but get along nicely with other pets. If your pet is staying at my home and really doesn’t like other pets, I could definitely accommodate keeping them separated! I treat my dogs and others as my babies, I’m always letting them out whenever necessary, and making sure to administer any medication properly and on time, I let my personal pets on furniture and beds, but understand if you have rules regarding that and I will be sure to follow those. I have boarded friends dogs at my home before for the past two years, and have cared for both dogs and cats in others homes. I live farther off the road on 31 acres, we have a super large yard, and lots of wooded trails! If I am staying in your home overnights I will need to currently bring along my little senior dog, as he requires medication and supervision from me. He is very well behaved, and is mostly just in my arms being carried the whole time. I’m very flexible, so if you have any questions at all, be sure to reach out to me! I’m currently home full time, so your furbaby will never be left alone and have supervision 24/7! Also, if your pet has a schedule that they’re used, please do let me know so I can continue that! I prefer to take pups out on a leash as my yard is not fenced, however if you feel that your pup would do okay off leash, I can let them off for periods of time. I of course will always be right there with them and supervising! I also have a very large home, so there is plenty of room to play inside as well!

Besides being a convenient location to Saratoga Springs, Kelly’s house was perfectly set up for dog sitting with a clean food and water bowl. Kelly was so caring and wanted to know of any food restrictions and special care instructions during our dog’s stay. Kelly was incredibly communicative and responsive throughout the booking process as well as during our dog’s stay. She even was super helpful with tips on where to eat and where to go for our day in Saratoga Springs. We will definitely rebook with Kelly in future visits to Saratoga Springs. Mon thru Sunday, any time!! Playtime , bath time and exercise !! My Daughter Sadie also runs the buzz with me so one of us will always be available. I’d like to add a fence in the future however I have four outside long runs where your dog can get exercise with the toys that they and I will play with. No need to worry about your dog escaping.

About: I’m Jess and I’m a full time programmer looking to spend time with dogs! I have had dogs all my life including small and large (150lbs!!) I currently own 2 golden retrievers who are cared for while I’m away. Since I work fully remote and am very flexible, I decided I want to provide dogs or cats care. If there are specifics to your pet, I promise to follow them to the T. Dogs truly are a mans best friend and I want to keep them in my company! I work full time and I can care for dogs in the morning and evening. I can do an occasional walk during my lunch. I also work from home and there is some flexibility around when I can do that. I love building connections with dogs. I know that it is probably super scary for them to have a stranger come into their home. I do not push dogs past their comfort zones. About: As a kid I was taught responsibility by caring for our horses, cats, dogs, birds, fish and guinea pigs. I’ve had pets all my life! My mom’s cat almost died of a bacterial infection in her mouth and I’ve helped administer antibiotics to her until she got better. I had a cat who had kidney disease and needed to have IV fluids every week. My other cat had to be mouth fed with a syringe as well as monitored via thermometer up his butt. I have house and pet sit for friends and family that have multiple pets, most recently for a friend that had 6 dogs of all sizes! I am an active individual so walking will be a treat for them and me! :) I have given dogs and cats baths and also cared for dogs in heat. Disclaimer: If your pet experiences an accident during a visit that requires cleaning, there will be an extra charge. (unless this is discussed ahead of time). Services are based upon the time frame given. Any services that add additional time to the booking will cause the booking fee to be increased for that visit at a prorated amount. I have a very open and wide range of availability and I am available most days, including weekends and holidays as I rarely ever go out of town. It would be great to develop some long term relationships with new pets and their owners! Repeats are always great but not expected. I will do what I can to work with your schedule and the needs of you and your fur child. I will do my best to maintain consistency and high-level care when it comes to your pet. Each pet is different and I try to get to know each one individually in order to gain their trust and yours and provide the best care possible. Often times, I will send pictures to the pet owner, especially if it is a new client or a pet owner is out of town for an extended amount of time. I am easily reachable and try to communicate clearly about wants, needs, and scheduling. I prefer to do a meet and greet prior to providing a service, but it is not mandatory, especially for last minute bookings! In the event that an in person meet and greet isn't possible, a virtual meet and greet is also an option for me to be able to view the pet, where their food is kept, the layout of the house etc.

I have pretty open availability. I work from home with a loose schedule. I am always available after 2pm and free all day Fri - Sun. I have a Golden Retriever myself. John arranged a meet and greet several hours later where he and our dog took to each other instantly. His house is clean and accommodating for a pup, or more! His fenced in backyard is great and the neighborhood he is in is quiet and safe. The very next morning is when we needed him for, so our dog was dropped off bright and early. I got a couple updates a day via messages and every message included at least 3-4 photos and videos. From the start you could tell he was attentive based on the questions he was asking me. We’ve never used Rover before and Luna has never stayed with anyone other than a few family members so it was a first for all of us. We would 10/10 use John again and we hope this review helps others feel at ease with his services!! :)”
