“Inge was wonderful with Lucy and I will definitely be booking her again when we are in the area! She took great care of her and was communicative letting me know how she was and sending photos. Her home was lovely and she had cozy blankets and pillows for Lucy’s comfort. Thanks so much Inge!”

“Hannah was great! Great bog sitter and great gal! Very knowledgeable and sweet. Sent me multiple pics of my Finn when he stayed overnight for the first time.”

“Everything felt right about this stay from the beginning. We’re so glad Matcha had a good time and was well cared for. Means so much to us when we’re away from our baby!”

About: My name is Madelyn and I am a dog mom, animal lover, and dog groomer. I have two dogs and two cats of my own. I spend most of my free time hiking in woods with my dogs. In the past, I’ve worked in multiple Vet offices and I currently work as a dog groomer in Queensbury, so I’m very comfortable around all dog breeds. I am pet first aid and CPR certified. I’d love to meet your fur babies and help in any way I can! I look forward to hearing from you! I am a dog groomer, and I set my own schedule so as long as I have some heads up, I can usually make something work! I have two dogs that I walk daily so if your dog is friendly, they are more than welcome to join us on a pack walk. If not, I am more than comfortable walking your pets solo in your neighborhood to get some energy out.

“Great experience & Taluk loved Nancy & her house & other animals, too!”

“Our dog loves going to Devin's. The big yard lets him play and there is always another dog to occupy his attention. Devin has patience with Nash as he is just starting to get his social skills back after COVID. Grateful to have found Devin.”

“My pup loved staying with Jen! It was our first time leaving him for a few days and he had a great time. Came back happy and tired from playing!”

About: I'm very calm and patient with all animals. My style is to allow them to warm to me and once they are comfortable, I enjoy playing and running around with them or giving cuddles. When we go for walks, I'm careful of other dogs and humans.. I have owned a dog most of my young adult life. I can't have one now because of where I live, but I care for my mom's Shepard and I care for my friends' dogs regularly when they go out of town or just can't get home to let them out. And sometimes I just drop in to play a game of catch or take them out for a hike. I have a cat, and he is my world. I'm currently working full time from home, so I can make time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends and after 5pm on weekdays. I live in an apartment, but there are sidewalks all along the development for easy walks and parks and trails nearby. I have a cat but he has his own big room to play and sleep in if your pup doesn't get along with him (he's not aggressive at all, just trepidatious around strangers)

“Eric was so good with our little Payton. It was his first time away from home since he was rescued, and we were not sure how he would react. I did not worry though because he seemed to like Eric's pets, and he loves the companionship. He had some specific needs that Eric understood and took care of. Payton came back to us a happy boy 😊”

“Kathy looked after our 1yr old Cavalier for 2 nights while we were out of town. Kathy is a knowledgeable and caring dog lover and we have already booked another stay with her.”

“Josephine took great care of our older dog, including giving her several medications. She was prompt to respond anytime I had questions. I could tell our baby was happy and well cared for by the picture updates she sent us and by the way Flora interacted with Josephine. We would definitely trust her with our girl again.”

“Laura and Tyler were great with my dog! He has pretty bad separation anxiety which makes it very difficult to leave him new places. Laura was awesome about introducing her dogs one by one and letting him get accustomed to her dogs and her home. She tried different areas to see where he would be most comfortable and really put time and effort into getting him to relax and be comfortable. She kept me up to date and make me feel a lot better about where he was and how he was doing. I would definitely use them again when we're in the Adirondacks!”

“Alex I was great with our little Luna! Awesome communication and flexibility! Thank you Alex!”

“John was great. We used him for our 1-year old who has lots of energy and loves to be around people. This was our first time using Rover, as our girl is a rescue and we weren't sure how she'd do at a kennel. We were not disappointed. John was very responsive in the booking process and gave us daily updates of how she was doing. He took her to the ball fields to let her run around, and he and his family gave her the love and attention she's used to at home. Would rebook with John if we travel to Saratoga area again.”

“Our pup loves her stays with Julia. Julia is always quick to respond and takes great care of Juju. Her dogs get along very well with mine and they have a good setup with a lot of space for my dog to be active.”

“You are absolutely fantastic dog sitters. Thank you for sharing the pictures and how our Darcy girl is right at home in your home. We laughed so hard that she was helping you with your chores. 😊”

“I can't say enough good things about Tiffany and her dog Aiden! They took such good care of our pups while we were out of town and even sent us daily updates with photos and videos. We really appreciated how flexible Tiffany was with our pick up and drop off times and how tired the dogs were when we picked them up. We will definitely be using Tiffany again next time we have to travel!”

“Megan took such good care of my two dogs, catering to their individual care instructions and making them feel right at home. As an anxious dog mama, I appreciated getting regular updates and cute photos throughout their stay. Will happily have Megan watch my pups again in the future.”

“Sara was very accommodating for our lil pup. She has a nice backyard and great windows (our buddy likes to”

4. Madelyn V.
“To whom it may concern, I write to recommend Madelyn VanKirk as a Rover walker. Madelyn has an ample amount of experience handling pets. In her past, she has worked directly with a local animal hospital and would assist the doctors as needed. On top of her understanding of pet care, she is an experienced dog groomer. Outside of her professional work, she was raised in a household with lots of dogs (specifically the Mastiff breed). She is currently raising her own dog, Onyx, and is doing an amazing job. She has trained him so well that he responds as he should. Madelyn often takes Onyx on hikes to high peaks within the ADK region. Madelyn has personally assisted me with watching over my 1 year old Labrador Retriever from time to time. She did a great job of keeping an eye on him as he loves to put everything in his mouth. I'd be happy to discuss in further detail any other information regarding Madelyn's experience. Kind regards, Chelsae Gadway”
