About: I have cared for dogs and cats since I was about 15. I have been responsible for taking care of neighbors animals which included walking, playing, feeding, grooming and potty time. Weekdays I am generally available after 3 pm. I do have a pretty flexible schedule. On the weekends I can be available at any time. I have three cats of my own, Eddy, Nala and Veronica. They are indoor cats but I am currently training them on a harness and leash to take walks on my fenced in backyard.

About: Animal Handling Experience - I have been caring for animals as a career consistently for the last 3 years. I have been working as a Veterinary Assistant for the last eight months at a reputable animal hospital and have truly found my calling in life. I feel that my experience in the veterinary field provides both pet owners and myself peace of mind when your animals are under my supervision. I know what little symptoms are concerning and important to note that others may miss. I make sure to track bathroom habits and meals. I am confident managing and giving medications to your pets while you are away. Dog Walking - Extensive experience walking and caring for multiple dogs at one time. I am very popular within my neighborhood and my family to care for dogs when people don't have time, and I am always punctual. I like the walks to be enjoyable for the dogs, not just a task that the walker has to complete. Overnight Stays - During overnight stays I also offer to bring in mail, packages, and water plants. When I care for an animal I make sure they receive special attention that goes beyond food and water. I play with them and provide enrichment, walks, and exercise. This includes visits as frequently as requested and caring for all the animals' special needs. I enjoy spending time with all animals, so if there are any other critters in the home I would love to help take care of them as well. I currently have a lively aquarium and have previously kept birds and reptiles so I am comfortable looking after our fur-less friends. I currently work four days a week and my shifts are approximately from 7am-6pm. My days off are a bit varied but I get my schedule almost a month in advance so I am able to commit confidently to future events. I care for your pets however you need. I understand that some animals have truly interesting quirks and I'm ready to do whatever your fur baby needs. Do we need to sing a specific song to go into our crate? Do we have a 15 step dinner routine? I am here for it all, and I'll be talking to your pet throughout every step.

“We were visiting the Adirondacks for my sons wedding and contracted with Alissa back in February for an August wedding. We had her stop over 2x the day of the wedding to walk our dog Lilly. She was great with Lilly. Lilly immediately took to her and was so happy to go for a walk. I fully recommend Alissa. If we ever come back to the area we would book with her again.”

About: I grew up having dogs and cats but also have had a bunny, guinea pigs, and birds. Anytime family members have vacations or are out of town I typically watch their pets so I definitely have experience with animals. I also worked as a veterinary assistant a few years back. I currently go to school Suny Adirondack full time, I do partial in person classes and the rest online. I also work a part time job therefore I am mostly available on the weekends however, I do have some free time throughout the week. I will not be pet sitting in my home, however I ensure the safety of your pet under my supervision whether it be on longs walks or your own backyard or in your home.

We asked Meghan to meet the dogs and cat before her first walk, and we found her to be calm, polite, and very pleasant around the dogs. They warmed up to her immediately. While we were gone, she walked the dogs twice a day, including the one who was socially anxious. Our house looked great when we got home and the animals were in very good spirits. We will definitely use Meghan again!”

About: Hi there! My name is Natalia and I live in South Burlington my little 12 year old fur baby (pug/daschund mix). I can understand and relate to the stress and importance of finding a trustworthy care giver. I would love to be able to give the kind of care to your little one like I would expect for my own. South Burlington and Williston area would work the best for me. I would love to meet your family and spend time with your little fur baby! :) I would be available Monday through Friday after 5pm (and before 8:30am depending on situation) and any time Saturday and Sunday. Willing to be flexible! 😁 My sweet Harley boy is an older pup who has incontinence and regularly wears diapers, so we understand that special pets sometimes have special needs!

About: Animals are too good for humankind, so they should be treated like absolute royalty. I grew up with cats and had a small but successful dog-walking and pet-sitting business in my neighborhood growing up. I am more than happy to treat your pet as if they were my own <3 I am currently unemployed and searching for a new job, but in the meantime, outside of my rugby schedule, I am available to take care of your pets! To make sure your pet feels as comfortable as possible while you are away, I would love to learn their typical routine at home and their interests!

About: I got my first dog when I was in 3rd grade and couldn't imagine life without them now. I spent the last 12 years working with animals as well as having a full house at home. Both my dogs, champ and Oliver, I raised from 8 weeks old and did all their training myself. I have been doing walks and drop ins for 2 years now and have references available upon request! I am a stay at home mom so it's very easy to fit in providing the excellent care for your fur babies to my schedule! I can do anything needed, whether it's basic a stop during the day or if you need more specific detailed care like medicine administered. We will adjust my care routine to the needs of your fur baby.
