“Justin is a very professional sitter. While out of the country Justin dropped in and showed our dog some love. We got updates with photos every time he was scheduled to be there. When we got home we could tell that our dog was excited that we were back but definitely enjoyed the company of his sitter.”

“First time using Rover, and I couldn’t be happier! Kylee took care of ny cat and dog while I was away on vacation with 2 drop-in visits per day. I only booked a couple of weeks in advance, and she came just a few days after I sent the request for a meet and greet. About: I have always grown up having dogs and love to be around them! I have experience in dog walking and daily pet care such as feeding, cleaning up messes and taking it outside to the bathroom. I am excited to meet your pup! I am a teacher who will be working short hours over the summer. I am available for weekday walks and weekday check ins for your dog. I plan to make sure that I clean any messes that the dog makes within the clients home and that I leave their house the same if not cleaner then how I found it.

About: 20 plus years experienced caretaker. I've rescued, fostered and adopted senior pets, pregnant mamas, puppies and the like. I have experience with walks, overnights, administering meds, wound care and of course snuggles. I work a pretty flexible part time schedule of afternoon and early evening hours a few days a week that allows me to schedule visits as needed to accommodate your pets schedule. However I am instructed to do so by the owner. In my home, I have a fenced in yard, there is also a dog park in the community. I have animal crates if needed. Large and small depending upon what is needed. I also have a silly dog of my own at home as a companion.

“Emily did a great job! She was easy to contact and replied quickly. She communicated very well how the drop in went and shared pictures. I will definitely use her again!”

About: I’ve had no less than two dogs around the house from childhood, and have experience with dogs of all sizes- jack russell to english mastiff! Growing up, we fostered dogs often, volunteering with Operation Delta Dog to aid service dog training for veterans. It’s always great to meet a new friend! As a part time worker with flexible hours, I have plenty of free time for walks and check-ins whenever necessary for you and your pup! I find that each dog and each owner is unique! I think it is important to respect the wishes of each owner- after all, you know your dog best!

About: My life revolves around my young son and my 3 year old Samoyed “Skadi”. I have had dogs all my life. About: Hi, I would love to care for your dog! I have over 15 years of professional dog training experience, both in the DC area and on Long Island. During those years, I did extensive dog sitting. My approach is always loving, and caters to the personality and needs of your particular dog. I am just getting back into the business of pet sitting. I was a caregiver for my mom for a long time and did not the time. I do have a cat, but she prefers dogs to other cats! I am currently retired from a career in journalism and social work. I am a musician and a songwriter, which I do from my home mostly. I am able to take frequent breaks. I can provide a good neighborhood for dog walking, I know how to crate train. I do have a cat who is friendly with dogs. I can help identify and solve behavioral problems. I will undoubtedly become good friends with your dog!

About: I’ve been looking after dogs since I was little, whether it be bigger dogs or small dogs. My toy poodle was 18 before he passed away so I’m familiar with older dogs and those that require a medication schedule (as long as you catch me up to speed with your pets needs!). I’ve also looked after puppies. I’m currently working part-time from home, so I’ll have plenty of time to look after and entertain your pets! I’m available any day with advanced notice! I do not have a fenced in yard however, I am a very active person so I’m more than happy to take your pets on walks, hikes, or trips to the dog park! My dog passed away recently so there are no other pets in the house, meaning your pet has my full attention!

About: Hi, I’m Mia! I’m a dog lover with pets of my own, and I know how important it is to have someone you can trust to care for your pup while you’re away. I currently only offer drop-in visits and dog walks—no boarding or house sitting. Whether it’s a potty break, a quick walk, I’m happy to help on weekends when you need it most. I treat every dog like family and always keep you updated with photos and messages. Can’t wait to meet your pup! I currently work part-time and am available on weekends only for pet care. I love spending my free time with dogs and will make sure your pup gets plenty of attention, exercise, and love during my visits. I’m not offering boarding at this time—my services are strictly walking and drop ins. I care for dogs like they’re my own—because I have pets myself and know how important it is to feel confident when someone else is looking after them.

Luke S.
“As protective dog parents, we have a hard time finding people we trust to care for our 2 dogs, (Beau a 3 year old boxer mix and Kali a 6 year old pit mix). Luke has cared for our pups on many occasions. The dogs are always excited to see him and he really has a way with making them a little more comfortable while we are away. Knowing that we can rely on Luke, while we are away, puts our worries at ease.”
