I can understand and relate to the stress and importance of finding a trustworthy care giver. I would love to be able to give the kind of care to your little one like I would expect for my own. I have 2 dogs of my own, and have babysat and walked countless dogs since for family & friends. I work remote so I have a very flexible schedule. I already use my free time to give my own dogs a great life and I’d love to do the same for people without as much free time as I. For drop in visits I can let them outside (permitted you have a fenced in yard). We can play a little indoors and outdoors. I can crate them when I go, if this is something you do. If you already have food somewhere prepared, whether fresh or kibble, I can even feed them so you don’t stress about them missing a meal. They’ll get plenty of pets and love.

Pet care fits into my routine by being something I plan around my schedule every day, even when I’m busy with school and practice. In the morning, before I leave for my first class at 8:00 a.m., I make sure my pet is fed and has fresh water. This is an important part of starting the day because it sets a routine and ensures my pet is taken care of even when I’m not home. Since my school schedule is split throughout the day (8:00–9:00, 10:00–12:00, and 2:00–3:00), I don’t always have long periods at home, but I still try to check in whenever I can. After my last class ends at 3:00, I go home briefly before practice. During that half hour, I might let my pet outside, clean up after them, or spend a few minutes giving them attention. After practice, when I get home around 5:00, I have more time to focus on pet care. This is when I usually feed my pet again, take them for a walk if needed, and spend quality time playing or relaxing with them. In the evening, I also make sure everything is set for the night, like refilling water and making sure they are comfortable. Overall, pet care is a consistent responsibility that I fit into both the small breaks in my day and my longer free time at night. Even with a busy schedule, I make sure my pet’s needs are always a priority. I care for pets in my home by creating a safe, active, and comfortable environment where they feel right at home. I have a fenced-in yard, so dogs get plenty of time outside to run and play. I also have a pup of my own who loves being around other dogs, which helps keep visiting pups entertained and social. Throughout the day, they’ll have a mix of playtime with other dogs and one-on-one attention, along with lots of cuddles so they feel cared for and not alone. Inside, I make sure every dog has a space where they feel secure. I have a crate available if needed, but there’s also plenty of room if you’d prefer to bring your own crate. I focus on keeping a routine that includes feeding, outdoor time, and attention, so each pup stays happy, comfortable, and well cared for.
