About: I’m always helping others take care of their dogs; watching, feeding & playing with them. Even trained my own pups! My husband Adam helps me out quite often too, he has grown up with dogs all his life! We are both working from home and have a very flexible schedule! My husband is also here to help most days. With doggy daycare and boarding my schedule is flexible to fit anyones needs! Plenty of room and time to play! I have a good sized fenced in yard with two friendly young pups, who will keep your dog company! They love meeting new friends! We have multiple sections in the house to separate dogs if ever needed. Crating your dog is always an option as well! We just fully renovated our detached garage that is next to our house. We made a brand new 400 square-foot indoor play space for the dogs to enjoy! This has a brand new heating and cooling system, electric upgrade, rubber flooring, and a new gated section outdoors. For dogs who just like to hang out, we have a couch that the dogs can lay on too. Our schedule is flexible to fit your needs with drop off and pickup times. During the day, the dogs hang out and play. For dogs who don’t like to play much, and just want to relax, we have a couch or a separate area for them to be in. Throughout the day we take the dogs out about every hour to go to the bathroom because we keep them hydrated due to their high activity. SAFETY is our priority!!! What makes us different than other Rovers sitters is that we make sure each dog has their own individual food/water bowl so they are NOT sharing. We also vacuum and sanitize our floors with pet safe disinfectant everyday to be sure that we are keeping the area clean and safe! If your dog is crated then we sanitize the crate after every use as well! We have a 6 foot tall fence to prevent any dogs from escaping the yard. We also require all dogs to show PROOF of being up to date on vaccinations!

About: Hello!! My name is Haley ! I am 23 years old and I have owned/ took care of many different dogs and cats all of my life. From poodles to labs, and from russian blues to siamese, I grown to love them all. Early on this love allowed me to learn many skills including grooming, feeding, play time for every age, medication administration, and more! Over a year ago, I took on the special task of adopting my first behaviorally reactive dog named Coco, who is a 4 year old mini australian shepherd who has taught me so much more about caring for an animal with needs. Whether that be more spacial awareness on walks, training commands and structure, or more attention to intentional bonding, my dog skills have massively grown through my relationship with her. Due to her reactive tendencies, I was able to work alongside dog trainers at her training facility Unleash Fido in Jacksonville, FL to learn more about what an animal needs, even if it’s for a simple walk!! Outside of my love for animals, I am a stay at home wife for my navy husband Patric! I was a dance teacher and choreographer for years, as well as a world level powerlifter competing for Team USA in 2024!!! Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me, and i hope to meet your fur baby soon !! I am a stay at home wife at the moment, so my availability is completely open to care for your pets ! Due to this open schedule, I completely open to same day bookings and quick to accept them :) Due to my open schedule, I would love to accommodate to any rules/ preferences you need for caring for your pet inside your home. As for boarding, my husband and I are currently finishing off our fence to provide plenty of area for safe play outside !! Inside the home we have a fully dog proof home, as we ensure the safety of our own dog Coco. If your pet is reactive to other animals, we are willing to board our own dog with friends in order to make a safe environment for your pup or cat !!! We are able to crate as well if needed, and personally have the schedule to accommodate to any support your pet needs in our home or at yours !!!!
“I have said it before and I'll set it again, faith is the best cat sitter ever. Really. She is more than a cat sitter. She's a good friend and carer for my beloved Morgan.”

“Allison is fantastic! She followed all instructions right to the letter. My dog absolutely loved her. Highly recommended for dropp in visits or whatever other services you may need that she may provide!”

“Kelly was great! It was always nice to see the notes/pictures each visit and she made sure she kept me updated on an impromptu issue with happy tail! Not a foreseen issue my Hope had until a few days before, but Kelly made sure to check on her tail often and wrap it when needed.”

About: 20 plus years experienced caretaker. I've rescued, fostered and adopted senior pets, pregnant mamas, puppies and the like. I have experience with walks, overnights, administering meds, wound care and of course snuggles. I work a pretty flexible part time schedule of afternoon and early evening hours a few days a week that allows me to schedule visits as needed to accommodate your pets schedule. However I am instructed to do so by the owner. In my home, I have a fenced in yard, there is also a dog park in the community. I have animal crates if needed. Large and small depending upon what is needed. I also have a silly dog of my own at home as a companion.

About: Hey, I'm Brandon. I've got a rescue pit/boxer mix named Chip who pretty much runs my life. Ive owned dogs since 2019, and I am an animal lover at heart. I'm currently apprenticing under a professional dog trainer and volunteering at a local rescue, working toward doing this full time. So your dog isn't just getting walked - they're getting someone who's actively studying canine behavior and knows how to read and handle a dog I'm comfortable with big dogs, nervous dogs, and dogs who need a little extra patience. I'll send you photos and updates so you actually know how it went. Based in Saratoga Springs. Available for walks, drop-ins, and sitting. I work a flexible schedule with a mix of office days and travel, so I plan my bookings around it and only accept what I know I can fully commit to. Most weekday evenings and weekends are open. I'm also apprenticing with a professional dog trainer and volunteering at a local shelter, so I'm around dogs constantly - your pup won't be an afterthought squeezed into my day. I'll always confirm my availability before booking so there are no surprises. I care for dogs in your home, on your terms. I stick to whatever routine you already have - feeding, walking, potty schedule, house rules - because consistency is what keeps a dog comfortable. I'll follow your instructions exactly on leashes, doors, and anything else, and I'm careful about securing gates and entryways. Because I'm training under a professional dog trainer, I know how to read body language and spot stress or discomfort early, especially with nervous or reactive dogs. You'll get photos and updates every visit so you always know how it went.

About: I’ve been a dog sitter and dog walker since I was 10 years old, taking care of some of my neighbors’ dogs. My love of dogs and experience has only grown throughout my life. I have 2 dogs of my own, and have babysat and walked countless dogs since for family & friends. I work remote so I have a very flexible schedule. I already use my free time to give my own dogs a great life and I’d love to do the same for people without as much free time as I. For drop in visits I can let them outside (permitted you have a fenced in yard). We can play a little indoors and outdoors. I can crate them when I go, if this is something you do. If you already have food somewhere prepared, whether fresh or kibble, I can even feed them so you don’t stress about them missing a meal. They’ll get plenty of pets and love.
“The Andrews family has been incredibly lucky to have found such an incredible person like Angela. Her outstanding skills in pet sitting have truly shone through—especially in her care of our beloved Remi and Willa. This was her second time working with our furry family members, and each time she has gone above and beyond to ensure their happiness and well-being. She is thorough in the work that she does, always remaining committed to her passion and treating pets as if they are her own. We will greatly miss her services in New Jersey, but her impact on our family remains. Angela, thank you for your dedication, compassion, and the love you’ve shown our pets. We’ll always remember your kindness and wish you nothing but the best in life. May you continue to spread joy and care to all the pets and families lucky enough to have you. With heartfelt gratitude, The Andrews Family ❤️”

About: I love animals and have been caring for pets for over 10 years! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, puppies, cats, and very young kittens. I have worked with many breeds, ages, and personalities. I have also worked with different feeding and walking routines, given medications, and even changed dog diapers. I can easily adapt to any pets needs! I just graduated college and have a largely open schedule at the moment. I can pop in almost any time of day and am usually open to last minute visits if they fit into my schedule! I prefer week day visits but can make weekends work too if necessary. In your home I can adhere to any safety protocols you give me and take pet safety very seriously. I have a small dog at home who I keep from getting outside on her own every day, and will treat your pet with that same level of attention and care.
About: Hi there! My name is Natalia and I live in South Burlington my little 12 year old fur baby (pug/daschund mix). I can understand and relate to the stress and importance of finding a trustworthy care giver. I would love to be able to give the kind of care to your little one like I would expect for my own. South Burlington and Williston area would work the best for me. I would love to meet your family and spend time with your little fur baby! :) I would be available Monday through Friday after 5pm (and before 8:30am depending on situation) and any time Saturday and Sunday. Willing to be flexible! 😁 My sweet Harley boy is an older pup who has incontinence and regularly wears diapers, so we understand that special pets sometimes have special needs!
“Thank you for taking my Derby last minute. You were professional with my expectations, The times we talked about, Great communication if something came up. Thank you for going the extra step and picking up the mess he made when he got into my basket that had snacks in it. I really appreciated that. The pictures you took of him while taking him out, was super sweet. He’s such a good boy. Recommend you anytime.”

“I booked Elaina to do a drop In visit for my 10 week old puppy and my 8 month old puppy. She cleaned up the pee on the floor, let out my two older dogs and stayed over a half an hour to get my stubborn 8 months old puppy back in her kennel. I will definitely be booking again, if she is still willing to accept us after today’s events.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
