I have worked with many breeds, ages, and personalities. I have also worked with different feeding and walking routines, given medications, and even changed dog diapers. About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life as my family have always owned dogs along with the occasional neighbor going on vacation. We began with sisters Shadow and Uh-oh, then adopted Madeline from a neighbor, followed years later by strays Oreo and Marshmallow. More recently, we took in a stray named Grey, followed by three kittens Ziva, Gibbs, and Ducky - yes, they're named after NCIS - putting us at six current cats in the house. About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

Besides being a convenient location to Saratoga Springs, Kelly’s house was perfectly set up for dog sitting with a clean food and water bowl. Kelly was so caring and wanted to know of any food restrictions and special care instructions during our dog’s stay. About: Hi! I’m Ella! My passion is anything animals, and it always has been! I frequently volunteer and work with local shelters and rescues, I also have worked as veterinary assistant for 2 years so I have a lot of experience with administering medications and emergencies! I currently have 3 dogs of my own, all are under 35 pounds but get along nicely with other pets. If your pet is staying at my home and really doesn’t like other pets, I could definitely accommodate keeping them separated! I treat my dogs and others as my babies, I’m always letting them out whenever necessary, and making sure to administer any medication properly and on time, I let my personal pets on furniture and beds, but understand if you have rules regarding that and I will be sure to follow those. I have boarded friends dogs at my home before for the past two years, and have cared for both dogs and cats in others homes. I live farther off the road on 31 acres, we have a super large yard, and lots of wooded trails! If I am staying in your home overnights I will need to currently bring along my little senior dog, as he requires medication and supervision from me. He is very well behaved, and is mostly just in my arms being carried the whole time. I’m very flexible, so if you have any questions at all, be sure to reach out to me! I’m currently home full time, so your furbaby will never be left alone and have supervision 24/7! Also, if your pet has a schedule that they’re used, please do let me know so I can continue that! I prefer to take pups out on a leash as my yard is not fenced, however if you feel that your pup would do okay off leash, I can let them off for periods of time. I of course will always be right there with them and supervising! I also have a very large home, so there is plenty of room to play inside as well!

I’m active, reliable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, whether that’s going on walks, playing, or just making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I’m available throughout the week and have a pretty flexible schedule. While I have an internship on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I still have plenty of time for pet care, walks, and check ins. I’m happy to work with your schedule and make sure your pets are well cared for! I’ve been around animals and loved them my whole life, so being around pets comes naturally to me. I’m patient and understand that not every animal is super outgoing or likes new people right away. I’ve had experience with pets that can be more stand offish or take time to warm up, and I’m good at being patient and letting them get comfortable at their own pace. I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away, and I’ll treat them like they’re my own.

About: My house has been full of pets for as long as I can remember. I grew up with three cats of my own, both indoor and outdoor, as well as several family members dogs, including Cocker Spaniels and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I was also fortunate enough to spend time around neighborhood dogs that became a big part of my childhood. Over the years, my family has cared for many cats. We currently have six indoor cats ranging in age from nine years to six months. Every one of them was taken in as a stray when they were less than a month old, and we raised them ourselves. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have spend years helping neighbors with their dogs. I have regularly babysat, boarded, and walked dogs of various breeds, including a Goldendoodle and a Jack Russell Terrier. Being surrounded by so many different animals has taught me how to adapt my care to each pet's individual needs. Pets have always been an important part of my life, and the experience I have gained caring for them has given me a deep appreciation for the responsibility, patients, and companionship that come with animal care. I am home for college for the summer (June-August), so I have an extremely flexible schedule. I am available to help out at you and your pets convince. I have a secluded backyard along with a large, walkable neighborhood and fields and trails within walking distance. There are cats inside the house and dogs in neighboring yards. I am happy to provide your dog with its own, cat-free room if it's preferred.

About: I’ve been surrounded by pets since I was born. I grew up walking, feeding, bathing, and loving my first two dogs—a Chocolate Lab and a giant Weimaraner. Since those two, my pet family expanded to a Yellow Lab, a rescue mutt (Australian Kelpie), a Hound mix, an Australian Shepherd-Pitbull mix, a Great Dane, a Pomeranian, a three-legged rescue dog, three horses, five goats, two pigs, three mini horses, and a cat. About: My name is Stuart, I am relocating to the area as I am starting a position at Albany Medical Center (AMC) in October. As I wait to begin my next chapter, nothing would make me more happy than to spend time with animals! I have always had a knack for the outdoors and have always had a soft spot for animals. I am an avid runner and am almost always be found running or hiking. I can guaranteed your dog will get the exercise and care he/she needs under my supervision. I have experience volunteering at the Lake Placid Vet as-well as volunteer experience at the Saranac Lake Animal Shelter. I have house sat /walked several dogs such as Australian shepherds, Labs, Bernie’s and Doodles in the past. If you have any additional questions please feel free to reach out to me! Until I start my position at Albany Medical Center (10/15/2026), I have no obligations besides providing optimal care for the dogs under my supervision. Specifically, I am free on both weekdays and weekends and I’m flexible to work around schedules. I have a three-story townhouse apartment. There is fenced in dog parks within the complex for easy bathroom visits as well as prolonged paved trails right next to my apartment that go into the woods for longer walks in the evening around lunchtime and in the morning. Dog Gates secure the dog within our second floor, preventing entry to third floor bedrooms and first floor mudroom. Dogs will have eyes on them at all times when not with owner.
