I have my own dog named Bellatrix and a kitten named Donut For the next month I will only be working two week days a week rotating Monday/Tuesday and Wednesday/Thursday and then I will switch to a full time WFH position Monday-Friday with availability for walks/drop ins in the morning and companionship throughout the day at my home if it is a good fit. About: I have had dogs and cats in my life since as long as I can remember. I have gone through 5 dogs growing up and have always been surrounded by the pets of friends and family! I’ve always loved every kind of animal, I believe the bond between a dog or cat and their human is truly unconditional. I’m eager to meet and care for more furry friends! I am a full-time hairstylist. Though I am scheduled for the same hours each week, sometimes I have slower weeks than others and my weeks are never always the same. I am looking for Rover as a side job to help me out during my slower days! I live in an Inlaw apartment under my mom‘s house. We have a fenced in backyard. I only have one cat in my apartment, and my mom has two dogs that are very friendly. We have a walking trail along a river across the street from our house!
About: I have loved animals all my life and your pet will have a great and safe time with me. I will make sure they are well cared for and that they get out a lot during the day. I am usually home all the time but if for some reason I have to leave they will be safe in one room. I have a 15 year old son who also loves animals and really wants a dog and this will also be an excellent opportunity for him to really learn what it is like taking care of a dog. your pet will be in great hands. “Where do I even begin? Heidi and her family were life savers. I had a different host that I had booked well over a month before my trip, and on the day of drop off I could not get a hold of her. I was in pure panic mode, and I found Heidi. She lives even closer to my home so that was another bonus. I got all the pictures and updates constantly. She treated my fur baby as if she were her own. She gave my girl a homemade pup cup, sweet potato and rice on her food, and all the snuggles. I know that she was truly in the best hands, and the first host falling through was a blessing in disguise. I would definitely book with her again!”

He can definitely be a handful at times, but she handled him with confidence and care for all 5 nights he stayed with her. She took him on long daily walks (which he really needs to burn off energy and stay calm), and it made such a difference. Amanda was extremely responsive and sent daily pictures and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It’s clear she truly cares about the dogs she watches.
