I love taking care of animals. I live with my partner Mitch, who helps me take care of dogs who board here. We have had different pets throughout the years, including dogs of all sizes & temperaments, cats & rabbits. Together, we currently have 7 dogs & 2 rabbits. The rabbits have a space in the family room the dogs cannot get to. The dogs are welcome in every other part of the house! We foster dogs as well through a local rescue, so we usually have foster dogs, too. One could say, our house is for the dogs! We love to travel, with and without our dogs. While we try to bring them with us when we can, it’s not always possible. With that in mind, we aim to provide a comfortable, safe, fun, & affordable place for your dog(s) to stay when you can’t bring them with you on a trip. We are a small dog house. Rover doesn’t have great size options for us - but generally around 30 lbs or less is preferred.

Gillian was a great pet sitter for my three dogs large dogs she was very calm in her approach with my fur babies and they loved her ! We felt very comfortable and confident when meeting her.We returned home to three happy dogs l would recommend her and will use her services again !!

Gillian was awesome! I knew I soon as I stepped in her enclosed back yard that she was a dog person who would take great care of our pup. She did not disappoint. She sent us frequent pictures and updates. I know Didi would love to go back again!

Schedule
For drop in visits or walks from your home, I’m available for early morning visits or after 5pm during the week & anytime on the weekends or holidays. I work in office 50% and from home 50%, and for boarding can be somewhat flexible. I am home and off every weekend, as well as every other Friday. My only set in office days are Monday & Tuesday, therefore can only accommodate drop off/pick up before 6 am or after 4:30 pm on Monday or Tuesday. Every other day of the week I can accommodate most drop off/pick up times. Reach out and we can see if my schedule fits your needs!

We have a fully fenced yard, a small doggy door in the storm door, 6 small dogs and one medium dog. If you’re interested in boarding at our home, we would need to do a meet and greet to ensure your dog(s) get along with mine! As long as they do, your pup is welcome to join the pack while you’re away. For drop in visits or dog walks, I have experience with dogs of all sizes & temperaments.

A typical day
Some of our dogs are young & full of energy, so there is a lot of playing and romping in our home. It’s a busy place, but older dogs have lots of comfy places for naps if they prefer. We spend as much time outside as can. We have a gazebo we hang out in a ton, where the dogs are welcome with us and we all can be lazy while enjoying the weather.
