I care for my own four dogs on a daily basis ranging in age from 3 to 17 and have raised them from puppies. We have play time and snuggle time at different times each day. There is plenty of extra time and love each day to care for your fur baby too.

I have a fenced yard on just under 1/2 acre, and my four dogs love to romp and play which is part of their daily routine. They also love long walks or going for a car ride. They are all crate trained and feel that their crate is their special place, so the doors are always open for them to have their alone/rest time when they want to after play time (if they are not trying to claim a spot on the couch or in the recliner). One especially likes the couch and the others love to sleep in bed at night.

Knowing if a pet has special needs or a specific routine is very important. They have needs, likes and dislikes just like we do. Keeping their lives on the schedule that they are used to makes them more comfortable during the absence of their fur parents.
A typical day
I love the special adventures of walking in the park with dogs. We both get to enjoy a different environment apart from the day to day home activities. A spontaneous car ride to get doggie ice cream is also fun after a round of ball or Frisbee in the yard.
