About: After working in semi-corporate environments for so long, I felt stifled. Once I started doing things for me - shorter, colored hair, more tattoos and piercings, people started looking at me differently, even though my personality never changed. The best part of my transformation was seeing all the animals still gravitating to me. I grew up around animals and kept up with having many different pets in my adult life. Now I get to play with, and care for, so many animals. It's not always easy, but it is rewarding to see their little faces light up when I open the door and know that I can bring them even a portion of the joy they give me. I take my own pup to the dog park before working a remote full-time job. My daughter got me started walking with her clients for lunch and in the evenings and I have learned to love the exercise and breaking up my day with animals! Our animals have the run of our home, sitting on furniture and sleeping in bed with us. Understandably, not everyone wants that and I can adapt to clients’ house rules without question.

“Annie has been amazing so far! She is very diligent with logging how the walk went and what activities occurred. We will continue to use her for recurring weekly walks and recommend her to everyone!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 9 years and have regularly volunteered with a local dog rescuer to foster dogs before they find their forever home. I have experience with dogs of all ages and look forward to caring for yours! I work from home most days and generally have the ability to move my schedule around if you need care multiple days in a row. I take frequent breaks for walks or play time with the dogs. I’ve got a large fenced in yard with plenty of room for your dog to run and play in. I’ve also got plenty of room in my house if a crate is needed. I’ll take care of your dog as if he or she was my own.

I adore dogs—they make me happy, and I already miss interacting with them so much! I can walk your pets, play with them, feed them, and provide at-home treatments/medical care as prescribed by your veterinarian. I offer flexible pet care at your convenience — morning, afternoon, evening or night (advance notice required) . Services include walks, playtime and vet-approved treatments. I easily connect with dogs and cats of all temperaments. With patience and a gentle approach, I earn their trust and friendship, always prioritizing animal-friendly care.

“I recently had the pleasure of hiring Jackie to take care of my furry friend for a week, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. From the first day, Jackie demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and a genuine love for dogs. Jackie was excellent at communicating with us throughout the week. She provided daily updates, including photos, which reassured me that my dog was happy. Every day, Jackie arrived on time for each scheduled walk! This reliability was crucial for me, as I have a busy schedule and needed someone I could rely on. I also had an unexpected change in my schedule during the week, and Jackie was very accommodating. She adjusted the walking times without any fuss, which I greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Jackie to anyone in need of a caring dog walker. We will definitely be using her services again in the future.”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs for as long as I can remember; our pets have always been treated like family. I come from a big household where caring for animals is second nature. Over the years, I’ve helped raise and care for many different breeds within my family, friends, and colleagues—cats and dogs—from energetic to shy; big and small! I genuinely love being around all types of pups/cats, and always aim to make them feel safe, loved, and happy. I currently have no set schedule, I will have a lot of time to take care of your fur babies. Being a morning gym-goer, my current availability will be after 7:30AM to 12:00AM for dog walking/drop-ins. I go back to school (local) starting August 18th (Monday - Thursday). Please keep in mind my schedule is subject to change** When caring for dogs in my home or a client’s, I always focus on creating a safe, calm, and loving environment. Through caring for my own dogs, dog sitting for family, and currently helping care for an adopted pitbull with my parents, I’ve gained experience in playtime, exercise routines, and giving each dog the individual attention they need. I’m comfortable following detailed dietary, supplemental, and medicinal instructions, and I always make sure each dog feels loved and cared for.

About: I’ve had dogs as pets since I was 5 years old, I love the companionship of pets, especially since I work from home. My last dog Pepper sadly left us after a beautiful 16 years and so I think this is a great way to keep that connection going. I work remotely and have the flexibility to be away from my desk often. I love going for walks around my neighbourhood with my son and being outdoors in general, I used to live in Florida! I live in a pet friendly neighbourhood, with a dog park a short walk away. I also have plenty of outdoor space within my own home for pets.

About: My parents close friends/family members and even some of my best friends have trusted me to watch overnight their pets such as dogs and cats, etc and along with boarding them at our house as the owners were out of town. I have lots of personal experience with my own pets, along with experience with dog watching and walking dogs outside my family dog. I grew up living with dogs and have always had a passion for animals and would love to be able to take care of peoples furry friends. I have a part time job currently so weekdays would be best since some shifts I get off in the afternoon so most evenings I’m free so if I know in advanced when people need me that would be great to work around my schedule. Some mornings I am also free. We have a big back yard but it does not have a fully fenced in yard due to our garage but it is safe and we have a leash to attach dogs too so they can be safe while also roaming in the yard. We also have a dog bed too. Not many toys because our dog is getting older but we can provide treats if needed and make sure they have everything they need. They will also have a furry companion which is our dog Bella. Whenever I watch a dog at someone else’s home I make sure to check and see what instructions they leave for me, make sure they are fed and let outside, and also make sure they are played with.

Proficient in administrating medications if your pet needs them. Please feel free to reach out with any questions! I work 3 nights a week at the ER, 4 days off. For house sitting, I can move things around for longer visits but otherwise use my 4 off days for house sitting. If you are comfortable with your kiddos being home at night to sleep during times I work, that is an option. For smaller pets I can always make it so they can hangout with me at work! Otherwise I am very flexible since I make my own schedule. I offer pet sitting over nights, drop ins, and walks. I cannot board at my home since I have my own pets, but will do whatever I can to make sure your family pets are safe and happy while in my care!
