About: I have had cats and dogs my entire life and first started dog sitting as a teenager. I love animals and getting to know their individual personalities and how much joy they can add to our lives! Having the peace of mind that your fur-baby is safe and happy while you are away allows you to enjoy your trip to the fullest. I work part time remotely and pet care will easily fit into my everyday routine as I set my work hours and as such they are flexible I will provide whatever care is required for your pet’s wellbeing with love and patience. Whether they require special care, or just need a friend to walk around the neighborhood with I am happy to help!

About: Hello! I have been a dog owner and have kept aquariums both as a hobby and professionally for 10+ years. I have over 425 volunteer hours logged combined as an aquarist with the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and with the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter. As a personal assistant, baby sitter and dog sitter, I am professional, detail-oriented, friendly and motivated to engage with your pets and give the highest quality care I can. As of this summer, I have graduated with a Bachelors in Biology from UC Santa Cruz, where I worked within two different labs focused on invertebrate and fish research and husbandry tasks, as well as a front desk admin and floor manager at the Seymour Marine Discovery Center. I currently work as a contract field scientist with the Bureau of Land Management, based in Santa Fe. I have a clean driving record and my own vehicle, and am flexible for overnights and check-ins, though do reach out to me to confirm my availability. I am currently employed full-time with a nontraditional schedule, and will communicate with you on times I may need to be out of the house for work. I will go over with you a detailed questionnaire to determine all aspects of your pet's care and schedule, and send update messages at least once a day.

About: I'm new to caring for dogs professionally, I've dog and cat sat for my neighbor several times over the last three years. While I'm new to taking care of pets in a professional setting, I've cared for dogs of all kinds since I was 10 years old. I've always felt a kindred spirit for animals and treat them with the utmost respect and care. From feeding, to bathing, and walking there isn't any dog I haven't enjoyed taking care of or spending time with. I recently lost my sweet boy who was in my life for seven years as he was an elder dog when I adpoted him and that's what brought me to Rover. I can guarantee your pet will be well cared for with me. I have a pretty open schedule right now since I only work part-time. I'm available after 3 pm Monday - Wednesday and have full availibility Thursday - Sunday to care for your fur baby. I'm available for boarding on weekends and can come to your fur baby as well if they prefer being at home. You can have peace of mind knowing that your fur baby will be cared for with full attention to detail. I can ensure a peaceful and calm environment when caring for your pets especailly senior pets who enjoy peace and quiet. If your pet needs a lot of outside time, walks are my specialty. Being around a variety of pets has taught me how to understand different personalities, routines, and care needs. About: I’ve taken care of pets for the majority of my life. My own, as well as friends and family. I have 30+ years experience with cats, and have pet-sitted many kinds of dog breeds ranging from chihuahua to Great Pyrenees I currently do not have a job, so I am mostly available all day for pet care, save for a few hours a day when I go into town for errands. I have a large sunlit home with a yard (unfenced) and large patio area for play. I have no other pets, so yours would receive all my love 🤍

About: I love dogs and grew up with cats. My long-distance girlfriend is taking care of our 5 year old cockapoo. I am missing dog energy in my life, and would love to meet and take care of your pet. A note: my apartment complex does not allow pit bull terriers, staffordshire terriers, rottweilers, doberman pinschers, chows, akitas, presa canarios, or alaskan malamutes. I work full tim, but only go in to the office 2-3 days a week for meetings. I am out of the house for around 8 hours on those days. I am free all day/night on weekends to care for and be with your friend. My apartment has a large outdoor area to go on long walks. The apartment is mostly hardwood floor with carpeted areas in the two bedrooms.

About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs for over 9 years and absolutely adore being around them. I can work on basic trainings for puppies, play hard with them, or give them the long walk they need. For senior dogs, I love to give them all the snuggles and pets they need :) seeing them happy makes me happy. Im currently working part time and have a very flexible work schedule, leaving plenty of time to let your dog out, play, or walk your pup during weekdays. Safety is huge when it comes to me watching your pup. Depending on your dog and safety protocols, I will follow them strictly (only allowed in a fenced yard, always leashed on a walk, etc).

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, and horses, and caring for them has always been second nature to me. I’ve supported senior pets through their final stages with patience and compassion, and I’ve also helped care for newborn litters, closely monitoring their health and development as they grow. I also have personal experience caring for handicapped pets. I’ve owned and cared for an older three-legged dog, and I’ve helped friends with pets who needed assistance walking, standing, or getting comfortable. Providing gentle support and adapting to each animal’s unique needs is something I take seriously and approach with kindness. My lifelong experience with horses — including care at the professional competition level — has strengthened my attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to high-quality care. I’m comfortable administering medications, including oral and IV treatments, and have experience doing so for dogs, cats, and horses. I currently work a flexible 9–5 schedule, which allows me to stop by during the day for potty breaks, short walks, or check-ins as needed. Outside of my work hours, I have open availability aside from time spent at the gym or caring for my horses at the barn. I prioritize clear communication and planning to ensure your pets receive consistent, reliable care throughout the day. In my home, my pets are truly part of the family. I have a Belgian Malinois mix who has 24 hour access to our fully fenced backyard with plenty of space to run and explore. She can also come in and relax in our upstairs office whenever she would like, so she is free to choose where she feels most comfortable. We go on daily walks and occasional hikes to keep her happy and fulfilled. Because I also have three indoor cats, one elderly and one still quite young, I supervise full house access to make sure everyone feels safe and relaxed. My dog is very cat friendly, but I am always mindful of each animal’s comfort level. My cats have free roam of the house, lots of toys, cozy spots, and supervised outdoor time during warm summer days. I pay close attention to their different personalities and needs, especially my senior kitty. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping things as normal as possible for them. I like to learn their routine, when they eat, where they sleep, how they like to play, and any little quirks that make them unique. I know how important consistency is for animals, so I do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you are away.

About: Just an FYI we can only sit for dogs that are 30 lbs or smaller, due to HOA rules in our condo complex. I have had and cared for a dog most of my life. I have never been dog sitting on Rover for a couple of years now, and have enjoyed it immensely. I love having dogs around. I am a stay at home mom, who is home a majority of the day. Russell, my husband, would also be caring for your dog, and he's great with dogs. We would love to have your pup over for a visit, while you are out of town. If you have any question, please feel free to ask. I do have a 4 year old son. He is great with dogs/pets. He used to dogs being around.We had a dog for his whole life. Unfortunately, our Charlie dog passed away last May. He was 11/12 years old. I am a stay at home mom, with a bookkeeping freelance business, so I am home most of the day. When I do work, my husband is usually home, except on Tuesdays. I have a 4 year old also, so I do have to take him and pick him up from preschool. We live in an apartment. We go outside often, and have no problems take dogs out. Our apartment is clean and tidy. I am good at following directions that may be given to care for you pup.

About: Hi, I'm Eva! I’ve had dogs and been surrounded by pets my whole life. I currently have a 4 year old Portuguese Water Dog, Claude. He craves social time with other dogs (big and small) and demands at least two trips a day to the grassy park down the street. He is very active and loves to hike or run after work when it's cool out. He loves learning new tricks and recently passed his Canine Good Citizen test. I work from home Monday - Friday and have a fenced in yard in the back if the dogs are desperate to get some energy out sooner rather than later! I work Monday - Friday on East Coast hours so am usually done by 3/3:30 to get the dogs out and enjoying the sunshine. I am able to take breaks throughout the day for walks to the park and around the neighborhood. We love to go for a run or hike after work when it is cool out! I am available all day, able to provide excellent communication and attention for your dog. I have a fully fenced in backyard that the dogs can play in anytime they wish.

About: I traveled in a van for many years and before I got Richard, I cared for over twenty dogs of all sizes and temperaments all over the country. I still travel by van and offer in-home pet sitting anywhere around the American West. When I lived in Tucson, I volunteered at the shelter and fostered dogs. I will work with the schedule and routines that your dog is used to so they feel safe and secure while you’re away. I’m also an avid hiker and would love to take your pups with me on outdoor adventures if they are up for it. Also happy to take short, gentle walks. I take excellent care of the spaces where I pet sit. I will clean before I leave and will respect your privacy or any of your preferences that we discuss ahead of time.

About: I have spent the last 3 years traveling while doing house/pet sits throughout Mexico, Arizona, California, Michigan, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida. My clients have included some high profile gigs in Bel-Air, Beverly Hills, Pacific Palisades, and Malibu, but I have also spent months at a time living off-grid in the Mexican jungle and caring for animals on remote farms. My experience dates back to 1991 when I worked my high school summer vacations on a sheep farm to escape city life. I love ALL animals, and have had a special connection with them, my whole life. Your pets (and babies) will be comfortable with me right away. I have been a mom to birds, rodents, fish, cats, and dogs. I do have some experience with reptiles, as well. I come with many years of hands-on experience with dogs and cats from the puppy/kitten stage through their golden years, so you can rest assured that any special accommodations your fur-baby may need will be met with kindness and compassion. I am particularly fond of, and experienced with Bully Breeds, Golden Retrievers, and Doodles of all varieties. I only provide pet care in the owners home as I’ve found it is a far less stressful experience for the pets and the sitter. It’s all I do, so your pets will get tons of attention and affection. I also do occasional dog walking gigs while I’m staying at your home. Your babies are my babies while you’re away, and your home will be treated with the utmost respect. About: I’ve loved furbabies (dogs & cats and basically any living being) my whole life and grew up helping care for them from a young age. My pup Taz, who I adopted at 10 weeks old, has taught me so much about canine behavior and care. He is currently almost five years old and thriving. I used to work fully remote and we've lived the best van life for a few years, so he's been through and seen it all from coast to coast. I also have over seven years of hands-on experience helping my mom, a dog breeder, care for 20+ litters of puppies. Through that, I’ve built strong skills in puppy care, socialization, and basic training. I’ve even helped certify therapy dogs and participated in visits to hospitals and community spaces, so I’m comfortable handling dogs in different environments. I work a hybrid schedule, (mainly home most of the time) which allows me to give your furbabies lots of attention throughout the day. I make sure they get regular walks, playtime, and personalized care so they feel safe, comfortable, and well-loved. As a deaf person, I’m highly observant and attentive, which naturally carries into how I care for your furbabies. I build pet care into my daily routine to ensure they receive consistent attention, structure, and love. Each day typically starts with a morning walk or playtime, followed by feeding and a quick check in to make sure your furbaby is comfortable and doing well. With a super flexible schedule, I can also include enrichment, play, and outdoor outings when appropriate, while balancing that with plenty of calm rest and supervised downtime. In the evening, we usually have another walk or play session, followed by dinner and a relaxed wind down. Overall, I maintain a steady routine of walks, meals, play, rest, and close observation so your furbabies feel secure, supported, and well cared for. I provide steady supervision, regular walks, and engaging activities like playtime. With your approval, I can also take dogs out for walks and social time at a nearby park. I keep a calm, structured routine with a balance of activity and downtime, and I always follow your furbaby's usual schedule to help them feel comfortable and settled. My pup, Taz, is a social butterfly! He adores and gets along with every single pup he has ever encountered from all over the United States while on the road. If your furbaby wants company, he will be the perfect duo. If your furbaby wants to chill, he will gladly give them space to chill. I call Taz the "Rover Whisperer".
