My goal is to maintain a calm, consistent presence so pets feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away. For in home drop-ins, I provide feeding, fresh water, litter box or yard clean up, medications if needed, and quality time with each pet. I tailor each visit to the pet’s energy level and personality including playtime, short walks, or quiet companionship. I also provide updates after each visit so owners feel connected and reassured. For dog walking, I focus on safe, structured walks that match your dog’s pace and needs. I prioritize leash safety, positive reinforcement, and a calm walking experience. Walks can include neighborhood routes or familiar areas your dog enjoys, or local dog parks, and I always ensure they return home settled, hydrated, and comfortable.

About: Hello! I have been a dog owner and have kept aquariums both as a hobby and professionally for 10+ years. I have over 425 volunteer hours logged combined as an aquarist with the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and with the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter. As a personal assistant, baby sitter and dog sitter, I am professional, detail-oriented, friendly and motivated to engage with your pets and give the highest quality care I can. As of this summer, I have graduated with a Bachelors in Biology from UC Santa Cruz, where I worked within two different labs focused on invertebrate and fish research and husbandry tasks, as well as a front desk admin and floor manager at the Seymour Marine Discovery Center. I currently work as a contract field scientist with the Bureau of Land Management, based in Santa Fe. About: I’ve grown up caring for animals my entire life and have hands-on experience with dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, and other small animals. Being around a variety of pets has taught me how to understand different personalities, routines, and care needs. I’m patient, dependable, and genuinely love spending time with animals, whether that means long walks, playtime, or simply giving them attention and comfort while you’re away. I treat every pet like they’re my own and always make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for! I am taking a gap year after college and will be doing lots of road tripping. While I'm new to taking care of pets in a professional setting, I've cared for dogs of all kinds since I was 10 years old. About: I’ve taken care of pets for the majority of my life. My own, as well as friends and family. I have 30+ years experience with cats, and have pet-sitted many kinds of dog breeds ranging from chihuahua to Great Pyrenees I currently do not have a job, so I am mostly available all day for pet care, save for a few hours a day when I go into town for errands. About: I traveled in a van for many years and before I got Richard, I cared for over twenty dogs of all sizes and temperaments all over the country. I still travel by van and offer in-home pet sitting anywhere around the American West. When I lived in Tucson, I volunteered at the shelter and fostered dogs. I will work with the schedule and routines that your dog is used to so they feel safe and secure while you’re away. I’m also an avid hiker and would love to take your pups with me on outdoor adventures if they are up for it. Also happy to take short, gentle walks. He craves social time with other dogs (big and small) and demands at least two trips a day to the grassy park down the street. I work from home Monday - Friday and have a fenced in yard in the back if the dogs are desperate to get some energy out sooner rather than later! I work Monday - Friday on East Coast hours so am usually done by 3/3:30 to get the dogs out and enjoying the sunshine. I am able to take breaks throughout the day for walks to the park and around the neighborhood. We love to go for a run or hike after work when it is cool out! My pup Taz, who I adopted at 10 weeks old, has taught me so much about canine behavior and care. He is currently almost five years old and thriving. I used to work fully remote and we've lived the best van life for a few years, so he's been through and seen it all from coast to coast. I also have over seven years of hands-on experience helping my mom, a dog breeder, care for 20+ litters of puppies. Through that, I’ve built strong skills in puppy care, socialization, and basic training. As a deaf person, I’m highly observant and attentive, which naturally carries into how I care for your furbabies. I build pet care into my daily routine to ensure they receive consistent attention, structure, and love. Each day typically starts with a morning walk or playtime, followed by feeding and a quick check in to make sure your furbaby is comfortable and doing well. With a super flexible schedule, I can also include enrichment, play, and outdoor outings when appropriate, while balancing that with plenty of calm rest and supervised downtime. In the evening, we usually have another walk or play session, followed by dinner and a relaxed wind down. Overall, I maintain a steady routine of walks, meals, play, rest, and close observation so your furbabies feel secure, supported, and well cared for. I provide regular walks and engaging activities. With your approval, I can also take your furbaby out for walks and social time at a nearby park. My pup, Taz, is a social butterfly! He adores and gets along with every single pup he has ever encountered from all over the United States while on the road. If your furbaby wants company, he will be the perfect duo. If your furbaby wants to chill, he will gladly give them space to chill. I call Taz the "Rover Whisperer".
