About: Since I was five years old I’ve had a dog. At the age of seven my family moved to a ranch where at one time we had up to 15 catahoula/pitbull mixes, labradors, and German Shepherds. I also volunteered for two years at an animal shelter in Bryan, TX. I have dealt with several dogs of different demeanors as well as given first aid to dogs with various injuries. Rest assured your dog will be safe with me! Hi there! I have one active Labrador retriever who is well-tempered and trained so there will not be many dogs. If I have another dog coming on the date you requested I will let you know in advance. I have a fenced yard with artificial turf and one energetic, playful, and well-tempered Labrador retriever. She’s spayed and fully vaccinated (+ the bordetella vaccine) of course, and loves to play! No history of aggression or dog fights, and she is well trained.
“Tara is amazing! Finding someone to help out with a puppy is not an easy task, but she is always willing to come by and do drop ins, even last minute. Our boys are always very excited to see her and are super comfortable with her. Both our boys are large breed dogs that most people would shy away from, but Tara is great at taking the lead with them. We also have a complicated feeding schedule, as one is an adult and the other is only 4 months old, and we feed half kibble half fresh food. She does a great job with detail to their feeding needs.”
About: Pets growing up were 3 dogs Lacy, Maya and Frodo as well as many kitties. Oso was my Cat, we had him from the time I was 4-14years old. We also had a chicken coop we were responsible for, horses that were our landlords but that we fed, and a fish tank with guppies and sucker fish. My 1st gig watching someone else’s pet, was for an elderly woman at my church when I was about 12. Milo was an older, golden retriever. I walked him, cleaned his outside restroom area, fed, bathed, and blow-dryed him. Family and friends have always reached out to me for help over the years, I have cared for all pets. Rottweilers, pit bulls, huskies, small dogs, handicap animals, both cats and dogs. I am great with communicating and accustomed to following the routines their owners have set for them as I believe that is most respectful. My schedule is either 8am-1pm or 2-8pm. I have a 1hour lunch and am home otherwise. I usually have 2 days off a week so will also be home on those days. I have stone floors, no carpet, and live in a non-smoking apartment. I have a small backyard with dirt area and kennel where they usually take small potty breaks aside from walks and dog parks!
About: I have grown up with dogs all my life, from Yorkies to German Shepherds. Providing the love and care to other dogs while you’re away is my priority! To give you the peace of mind your fur baby is both physically and mentally stimulated during our time together. I am very active, love going on hikes and finding new parks in the area! I am in the end of my surgical residency making my schedule relatively flexible. While I am unable to have a dog of my own full time, I can care and love for others in the mean time! While I do live in an apartment, there is a park with walking trails right across the street that I walk daily. Staying active is an essential part of my life!
About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I have had two registered therapy dogs and have house sat for numerous families. I love all dogs and just want them to be cared for whi families enjoy their time away I’m retired so I have an open schedule and am free for days or weeks depending on your needs. Reiley was great, as usual. He took care of our cat Olive and our chickens. And he went way above and beyond when our chickens were accidentally locked out of our coop by a construction crew. He came over to our place late in the evening, found the chickens, and got them safely back into the coop. We plan to use Reiley again whenever we travel.
Kaleigh took great care of our dogs while we were away. She sent pictures and left details every day and was very communicative. She was generous with her time with the dogs and was genuinely concerned for them. I would definitely have her watch the dogs in the future.
