I’ve been doing this a very long time and have enjoyed every experience. ☺️ I’ve started a doctoral program and will only be booking occasional walks for the foreseeable future. Thank you to everyone who has trusted me with your fur babies! Maybe the next time I see them (or you), you will be receiving some Naprapathic TLC. 🙏🏻

Safety, trust & environment

Due to my first negative review in four years, I feel it’s important that I share some thoughts on my approach and philosophy to pet care and my personal life to avoid future miscommunications or concerns. 1. I will not accept bookings where a dog is expected to be left alone for more than six hours. This is negligent. 2. I expect that the area I’m to work in for drop-ins or prepping food or water is clean and accessible. If it is not, I will make it so. While it’s your house, please respect that I will be inside it and touching surfaces in your home. 3. I have a 9 and 2 year old. If you are ok with my kids being in your home, please use common sense about what that entails. They will find toys. If there is a steep staircase or other hazard and there is a way to make the environment safe for my kids, I will do so (obviously not meaning any structural changes to the home). 4. If there is a hazard to the pets like dried, crusted food on the oven the cats eat and throw up or overflowing trash the animals are getting into, medical supplies or medications the animals are knocking over- I will organize/clean. But I would prefer not to have to do that. Again, while it is your home, I am being asked to be legally responsible for the wellfare of a living creature. Please don’t put me in a situation where I feel guilty for addressing safety and sanitation concerns. I will move things and if you want things exactly as you left them, filth and all, do not book me. I don’t appreciate being put in ethically confusing situations. I want to do my job and leave just like you. 5. Please don’t put me in a situation where a door handle or lock is broken. This is just rude. 6. Please inform me of the use of puppy pads and how to access cleaning supplies for messes made by pets. 7. Do not book me for the care of dogs and not of other pets that are in the home. They are there and making messes that I will get penalized for not attending to. Don’t do this-also rude. 8. If I stay at your home, I will leave things as I found them and/or better in the spaces in which I occupy. This looks like maintaining a clean kitchen, bathroom, living area, room in which I stay, outdoor spaces my kids play…etc. Unless instructed otherwise. This means bedding is laundered. (This has never been a problem). 9. Rover does not take responsibility for clearing up any misconceptions or misunderstandings as I’ve recently discovered, so I want to be absolutely clear. 10. If you have a cat tree under a counter, your chihuahua can most likely climb it and get into your cat food. I’m going to move it. 🫣

Drop-In Visits • Jul 18, 2026

Unfortunately, we had a very concerning experience with this sitter. We booked drop-in visits specifically for our dogs, but the care and boundaries during the booking did not meet our expectations. Visits were shorter than expected, photos appeared to be reused, and we received limited updates about the dogs. Most concerning, we were notified that a door had been found open, creating a potential safety risk for our pets. We also returned home to find that personal items throughout our home had been moved and reorganized without our permission. The sitter’s children were allowed into our son’s bedroom, where his belongings and stuffed animals were played with and rearranged. We did not authorize our home to be cleaned or reorganized, nor did we give permission for children to go through our son’s room or belongings. We hired a sitter to care for our dogs and expected our home and personal spaces to be respected. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not book with her again.

Thankyou Brittany! We were very happy with your care and concern for Samson. He was in great shape when we got back from our trip, and we’d be happy to have you come back again next time we need help!

Brittany helped me out of a bind last minute. She walked Minnie for 3 weeks and was reliable and easy to work with. Highly recommended.

Brittany was great to work with! We reached out last minute to book a dog walk for our pup, and she was quick to respond. We were even able to make a meet and greet happen before the day!

If your dog has any health or behavioral challenges or special quirks related to the breed, just let me know. As I said previously, I grew up with Danes (and Dachshunds), so I’m very comfortable walking and gently training to walk all sizes. I’m very conscious to teach a pup who’s unfamiliar with walking in a safe environment and mindful to keep older pups in less stressful/stimulating areas. If a dog has an aversion to other dogs or is excitable, I’m used to and can work with them too!
