About: I love meeting new pups and helping them live their best life! Safety is first and I will communicate with you to make sure your dog enjoys their walk and has all their physical or medical needs accounted for. Having two of my own dogs I know how important it is to have peace of mind! My background in addition to pet care and sitting has also involved working with herding dogs on ranches as well as many years of horse, goat, and chicken care! Animals have always been a part of my life and I look forward to using my experience to help you and your animals. SAFETY, COMFORT, and FUN are my highest priorities! I work as a full time artist and walk dogs part time. Typically Sunday through Wednesday are my available days! I’m happy to accommodate your schedule as much as possible. Safety is the priority. Before any walks I will check with you about any safety concerns such as whether your dog has behavioral issues, escapes out the door or out of their collar, or any joint pain or physical limitations they may have. I will tend to stick to routes they are familiar with as this is usually the safest route.

I am trained in animal care and I have been pet sitting (mostly dogs) for more than 10 years. I think dogs are really special beings and beautiful companions. I enjoy being able to give pet parents peace of mind that their loved ones are being looked after with the utmost care and compassion. I have cared for dogs of various sizes, temperaments and ages. My naturally calm and patient disposition works well with most, especially dogs that may need more time and attention, such as shy dogs or older dogs. I am available for drop-in visits, overnights and walks. For walks and drop-in visits, I still have space open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Mondays and Fridays are packed. If you have any questions about specific dates and times please feel free to send me a message here on Rover. I prefer to care for pets in their own home because it offers them a sense of security during a difficult emotional time while their humans are away. **PLEASE NOTE** I am only offering overnights to existing clients of 4-6 weeks or more, I feel it is important for me and your animal companions to get to know each other before their family goes away.

I can administer medicine to your furry best friends and I am a fast learner if I need to be trained a special way to administer the medicine. I have a hybrid work schedule and helping new neighbors take care of their pets is my idea of a good time! I am an avid walker and I am patient. I care about animals, so I make sure I walk dogs earlier or later, when it is not too hot for their paws. I take client instructions and tips for treating their pet seriously, regarding temperament, likeliness to run off while on a walk, etc. I like to give pets ample attention so they are less anxious while their family is not home. I give pets space if they are giving off the vibe of wanting to be left alone, after I make sure their basic needs (and more!) are met.

With cats I try to do a little play break a couple times a day if they show interest.

About: Hi, I'm Eva! I’ve had dogs and been surrounded by pets my whole life. I currently have a 4 year old Portuguese Water Dog, Claude. He craves social time with other dogs (big and small) and demands at least two trips a day to the grassy park down the street. He is very active and loves to hike or run after work when it's cool out. He loves learning new tricks and recently passed his Canine Good Citizen test. I work from home Monday - Friday and have a fenced in yard in the back if the dogs are desperate to get some energy out sooner rather than later! I work Monday - Friday on East Coast hours so am usually done by 3/3:30 to get the dogs out and enjoying the sunshine. I am able to take breaks throughout the day for walks to the park and around the neighborhood. We love to go for a run or hike after work when it is cool out! I am available all day, able to provide excellent communication and attention for your dog. I have a fully fenced in backyard that the dogs can play in anytime they wish.
