About: I've owned and taken care of dogs since I was 12. Ive helped friends potty train and crate train puppies. I cared for my senior dog for many years before he passed in 2024. Ive fostered animals through animal shelters as well as helped rehome friends and family pets when needed. Ive taken care of friends pets as well as family. If you have any further questions please dont hesitate to ask! (: I am a stay at home mom. We wake up early and I usually stay up late tidying and taking care of our other pets. We only leave for short periods during the day. Your pet and my children will not be left alone at anytime. I have a large fenced back yard. I also have a friendly medium sized dog named Halo who would love to keep your companion company. I can crate over night or during breaks as long as you bring an appropriate sized kennel for them. I may have one on hand if it is a weekly appointment.

Our boys are always very excited to see her and are super comfortable with her. Both our boys are large breed dogs that most people would shy away from, but Tara is great at taking the lead with them. We also have a complicated feeding schedule, as one is an adult and the other is only 4 months old, and we feed half kibble half fresh food. She does a great job with detail to their feeding needs.”

Because I also have three indoor cats, one elderly and one still quite young, I supervise full house access to make sure everyone feels safe and relaxed. My dog is very cat friendly, but I am always mindful of each animal’s comfort level. My cats have free roam of the house, lots of toys, cozy spots, and supervised outdoor time during warm summer days. I pay close attention to their different personalities and needs, especially my senior kitty. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping things as normal as possible for them. I like to learn their routine, when they eat, where they sleep, how they like to play, and any little quirks that make them unique. I know how important consistency is for animals, so I do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you are away.

I am particularly fond of, and experienced with Bully Breeds, Golden Retrievers, and Doodles of all varieties. I only provide pet care in the owners home as I’ve found it is a far less stressful experience for the pets and the sitter. It’s all I do, so your pets will get tons of attention and affection.
