We got about an update a day which was nice, would have liked a few more just because we had only left him before once with someone else while we were out of town, and I’m admittedly a little bit more of a worry wort dog mom. They were SUPER kind and is very much trust them again with Milo. They were always responsive and seemed to really care for dogs. He also got along great with Oatmeal, they’re own poodle, it was nice having a buddy for Milo to hang out with. 5 stars!”

About: I love all animals! I have experience with dogs, cats, cows, reptiles (mainly snakes), chickens, ducks, rodents (rats, mice, hamster), rabbits, sheep, goats, birds, etc! I love connecting with each animal in their unique ways, I truly believe we have a lot to learn from these compassionate beings. It's my pleasure to make them feel safe, loved, well fed and fully exercised! I don't have a lot of experience with senior animals but I'm willing to learn what their specific and special needs are. I have had older dogs in my life so I do have a basic grasp on their needs but everyone is unique! I am self employed. My schedule can be pretty open for the most part! The flexibility I have in my life makes it really easy to navigate your pets needs. I'll gladly learn the typical schedule you have with your pet so that they feel their care is secure and stable. Time of feeding, length of walk, treats, etc. Just let me know and I'll do my best to make you both feel considered and cared for. I'm living in a multi-bedroom home in downtown. Your pet would have access to the fully fenced back yard and the entire main house. My pets live in a separate studio and I can tend to their needs separately. For dogs, I am about a 5-10 minute walk to a couple different parks, one park is HUGE! We can easily go for an outing or stay at home and play in the backyard.

I still travel by van and offer in-home pet sitting anywhere around the American West. When I lived in Tucson, I volunteered at the shelter and fostered dogs. A previously booked 10 day stay for my dog was canceled by another provider at the last minute. I was panicked. I contacted Joy and she arranged a meet and greet immediately. She has a cute apartment with a lovely shaded courtyard right in town. It is a good area for walks. She is kind and loving. She gave me daily updates and pictures of my boy and took excellent care of him. We will book her again.
Stephanie was my first Rover sitter and I am so happy with the overall process! Cheddar is shy at first but Stephanie and her family allowed Cheddar to warm up and loved on her with lots of pets and belly rubs. David took excellent care of my dog Lizzie with no issues at all. He sent photos & videos daily and kept me updated on how she was doing. It is great he has a calm dog to be a companion , too. It was such a relief to know she was being well taken care of while I was away.

Mark took such good care of my cat Yosemite while I was away. Through daily photos I could tell Yosemite was loved, entertained, and happy. Austin is a great Dog sitter! I had to find a sitter for my senior dog last minute and was anxious about leaving her with someone I didn’t know. But it was obvious she was in good hands right away. I got lots of pictures of my dog through out the trip and he was always very responsive with his communication. Will definitely use again.
Russell was the perfect sitter for our dog while we were away for a week! He sent photo updates at least once a day, if not more! Our dog is elderly, but Russell had no problem adapting to his needs, and he came home calm and happy- it was clear that he was very happy and very well cared for.
