“Ari had a great stay with Tara and her pups. He came back vibrant, happy, full of energy. Tara is super flexible, easy to work with, highly communicative, sends great pictures and videos. Truly could not ask for more.”

“Mark was very kind and took great care of Piper. He sent me pics and took her for walks and trips to the dog park. He was good at communicating. I felt Piper was in good hands and I would definitely book with him again in the future.”

“Ray was great! Milo was tired and seemed really relaxed when we picked him up. We got about an update a day which was nice, would have liked a few more just because we had only left him before once with someone else while we were out of town, and I’m admittedly a little bit more of a worry wort dog mom. They were SUPER kind and is very much trust them again with Milo. They were always responsive and seemed to really care for dogs. He also got along great with Oatmeal, they’re own poodle, it was nice having a buddy for Milo to hang out with. 5 stars!”
“Kyle and Dale were wonderful with Roux during her overnight stay. They made her feel right at home, kept me updated, and I could tell she was happy and relaxed when I picked her up. It gave me peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands, and I’d definitely trust them to watch her again.”

“What a guy! Iosif took great care of our senior dog during our last minute weekend away. He took care to send pictures and gave updates even though it was just a quick overnighter. Super flexible and accommodating with pick up and drop off times. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: My pets growing up were 3 dogs Lacy, Maya and Frodo as well as many kitties. Oso was my Cat, we had him from the time I was 4-14years old. We also had a chicken coop we were responsible for, horses that were our landlords but that we fed, and a fish tank with guppies and sucker fish. My 1st gig watching someone else’s pet, was for an elderly woman at my church when I was about 12. Milo was an older golden retriever. I walked him, cleaned his outside restroom area, fed, bathed, and blow-dryed him. Family and friends have always reached out to me for help over the years, I have cared for Rottweilers, pit bulls, small dogs, handicap animals, both cats and dogs. I am great with communicating and accustomed to following the routines their owners have set for them as I believe that is most respectful. My schedule is 8am-1pm. So I am free all afternoons typically Mon-Thursday. Weekend hours vary for me but I am usually available either morning or night. I have stone floors 1 roll out carpet, and live in a non-smoking apartment. I have a small backyard with dirt area and kennel. Willing to do house visits as well! Don’t mind taking dogs to parks in my car either as long as it’s okay with the owner.
About: I traveled in a van for many years and before I got Richard, I cared for over twenty dogs of all sizes and temperaments all over the country. I still travel by van and offer in-home pet sitting anywhere around the American West. When I lived in Tucson, I volunteered at the shelter and fostered dogs. I will work with the schedule and routines that your dog is used to so they feel safe and secure while you’re away. I’m also an avid hiker and would love to take your pups with me on outdoor adventures if they are up for it. Also happy to take short, gentle walks. I take excellent care of the spaces where I pet sit. I will clean before I leave and will respect your privacy or any of your preferences that we discuss ahead of time.
About: I’ve taken care of animals all my life! My mom at one point had 17 cats and 3 dogs. I learned from a very early age how to care for them, and make them feel safe and loved! Rover did not let me use my phone number so my account is connected to my boyfriends, so when you do book with me I’ll send you my number :) thank you! I’m currently a stay at home mommy of 2 kids. I’m home everyday of the week while their dad works so I’m free to take care of your animal any day of the week and anytime! I make sure all pets that come to our home feel welcomed and safe! We don’t have a yard since we do live in an apartment but I’d love taking them for a walk to the park at our apartments and around our complex ! I love to reward animals for good behavior with treats (if the owner is ok with that!) :))
“Christina did a great job with our pup. She was extremely communicative and allowed my girlfriend and I to enjoy a day trip to the caverns/Guadalupe mountains with ease of mind.”

“Jess and her daughter were awesome and our doggo had such a great time with them and their doggo!! Definitely if we're out in Los Alamos again would use them! Definitely recommended them to our family who lives out here!!”

“Violeta was perfect. Can tell she really loves dogs and really cares about them. She watched my dog for nearly 3 weeks. Sent pix and notes. I can’t say enough good things. She’s a great person that really cares about animals. ?”

“We think Patris is wonderful. More important, our beloved golden doodle loves Patris and her dog Shanedarby. Patris is great with dogs AND with people. Regular and delightful communication.”

Santa Fe pet parents share their Rover experiences
David took excellent care of my dog Lizzie with no issues at all. He sent photos & videos daily and kept me updated on how she was doing. It is great he has a calm dog to be a companion , too. It was such a relief to know she was being well taken care of while I was away.

Gavin is absolutely amazing. He was amazing with our boy and so communicative . Finding someone who takes such great pride in their role as caregiver for pets is special. Fur babies are our children and Gavin takes it to heart. I guarantee you won’t find anyone who loves and cares for them as much like we as owners do. Thank you Gavin!!
Mark took such good care of my cat Yosemite while I was away. Through daily photos I could tell Yosemite was loved, entertained, and happy. Mark has such a positive energy and made sure to ask all the right questions beforehand to ensure Yosemite had the best care and easiest transition possible. I highly recommend Mark for pet-sitting!!

Brooke was an amazing dog sitter for our furry friend. She sent us pictures of Winnie doing all the things that let us know she was happy and settled while we were gone. I would highly recommend Brooke and I’m sure we will be booking a stay for Winnie there again!

Ari had probably his best stay ever with a sitter at Cressendra's. He was welcomed and understood and photographed (*great* photos!) and - although often skittish with other dogs - was exuberantly engaged with Amigo from the beginning. Cress is communicative, flexible, truly cares about the dogs, 'gets' them. A great photographer. A stellar person. Will definitely leave Ari with her again if she will have him!

Austin is a great Dog sitter! I had to find a sitter for my senior dog last minute and was anxious about leaving her with someone I didn’t know. But it was obvious she was in good hands right away. I got lots of pictures of my dog through out the trip and he was always very responsive with his communication. Will definitely use again.

Russell was the perfect sitter for our dog while we were away for a week! He sent photo updates at least once a day, if not more! Our dog is elderly, but Russell had no problem adapting to his needs, and he came home calm and happy- it was clear that he was very happy and very well cared for. We will definitely use Russell again and I’d happily recommend him to anyone who needs high quality care and love for their pup!
