Pet care experience

Living my best life with dogs!

I volunteered for the internship at Save A Dog in Sudbury, Mass., back in 2020. Helped them clean and gave plenty of lovely attention. I also dog-sat several dogs for four years during college and experienced house-sitting for a lovely couple for three weeks in summer 2024. I love doing my job as I treat them as my own. I will make sure dogs have a blast time and are loved while they are with me. I over-communicate by sending updated texts and pictures, or videos. I would say you come to the right dog sitter here who loves dogs like crazy.

Lily is an absolute gem! She was always prompt with communication and sent daily photos and updates throughout our dog's stay. Our dog loved her and her two very sweet dogs, Stella and Freccia. We've already booked our next stay and highly recommend her!

Everything went great. Lily was super responsive during the trip. She sent pictures and gave me frequent updates. We did a meet and greet ahead of time. It was good to see that she cared about making sure Nav was a good fit first. I would book with her again.

Schedule

Since I work full-time, I am primarily available on weekends, with occasional weekday availability depending on my schedule. When your pet is in my care, I will make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and quality time. If you are comfortable with it, I may also be able to care for your dog in my home while I am at work. Your dog would have the companionship of my own dogs, who would love having a new furry friend around! Of course, I will always make sure this arrangement is a good fit for your dog and that everyone feels safe and comfortable. I am more than happy to follow your specific requests and your pet’s regular routine. I understand that every pet is unique, and I will do my best to provide the care, attention, and love they deserve. My goal is for you to feel confident and at ease knowing your furry family member is in caring hands. 💖

Safety, trust & environment

We have two sweet and friendly dogs: about 3-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier and a 1-year-old Dachshund mix. They both enjoy meeting new dogs and can be playful or relaxed and cuddly, depending on their furry friend’s personality and comfort level. My pups are true social butterflies! Creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment is very important to me. I understand that every pet has different needs, routines, and personalities, and I am happy to accommodate them whenever possible to help make their stay as smooth and stress-free as possible. I also understand that trusting someone with your beloved pet can be difficult. Building trust, maintaining open communication, and providing a safe environment are my top priorities. I am an open book and want you to feel completely comfortable asking me any questions about myself, my home, my dogs, or how I care for pets. My goal is to build a trusting relationship with you while making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for. ☺️🩷

A typical day

A typical day with me is filled with plenty of love, attention, and companionship! 🐾 I spend a lot of my free time relaxing at home, so your pet will have plenty of opportunities for affection, playtime, and quality time with me. Depending on your dog’s personality, energy level, and your preferences, we may enjoy activities such as going for walks, visiting the dog park, or going on an adventure outdoors or hiking. Of course, I will always make sure activities are appropriate and comfortable for your pet. During dinner time, if your dog enjoys them and you approve, I may offer a few dog-safe slices of cucumber as a fun little treat! My goal is to make your pet feel comfortable, loved, entertained, and like part of the family while they are in my care. 💛

I am fully Deaf, so the best ways to communicate with me are through text messages or written notes—unless you know American Sign Language! ;) Being Deaf does not stop me from providing your lovely dogs with attentive, loving, and excellent care. Clear communication is important to me, and I am always happy to discuss your dog’s needs, routines, personality, and preferences before their stay. Please bring everything your dog will need to feel comfortable, including their food, food and water bowls, bed, medications (if applicable), favorite toys, and any other essentials. If your dog cannot safely be left unsupervised, please also bring their crate so I can follow their usual routine and help keep them safe and comfortable. My goal is to make your dog feel as relaxed and at home as possible while staying with me. The more I know about your dog’s personality, routines, likes, dislikes, and special needs ahead of time, the better I can provide a safe, comfortable, and loving experience.
