Came home with dirt tracked through our house, water on floor near the fridge, and a door torn scratched up from the dogs even though we were constantly told our dogs were fine. Not saying James could have done something about the scratched door, but it would have been nice to have been told about it.”

About: I’ve been a proud dog mom for 15 years now. My fur baby is 15 and still healthy. I’ve cared for dogs (all ages) & cats. I’ve also pet sit 2 dogs, 2 cats, 22 chickens, 3 ducks, & a Turkey for 6 months!! I also have training “gentling” horses. And i worked with dairy cows on the university farm during my undergrad studying nutritional biochemistry. I’m a lover of all animals and it would be my pleasure to hang out with yours. I’m very fit and if it’s a run you pupper would like, then I’m your person! I’m also a good walker :) I’m currently doing an in-home pet sit in Santa Fe from April through June. My schedule is open otherwise for pet , runs, play dates and check ins. I am great at following your instructions as you know what’s best for your fur baby. I love to walk out jog with your pupper & my dog is well leash trained (I adopted him in NYC so that was a must!) If you have land that you want your fur could to run off leash then I’m good at commanding dogs to make sure they come back! I have a warm heart and animals immediately tune into my energy and are drawn to me. This happens all the time in public with other people’s dogs :)

I have a standard poodle and 2 cats and she makes sure everyone gets fair attention. She's clean and tidy, too! Walking my poodle is a fun event and he loves, loves, loves her! She lets all of the babies sleep with her (under the covers if they like). Also, I know she has rescued kittens before, too. Her listening skills are excellent; she follows directions to a tee which is important when dealing with geriatric pets or those who like to try to get away with things when the owners are gone. She keeps me updated via texts and videos, which I appreciate and calls to ask questions if she's unsure about something. Overall, I highly recommend Laura for any pet-sitting opportunities - she's a bright ray of sunshine I love having around with my pets when I'm away.”
