Safety is first and I will communicate with you to make sure your dog enjoys their walk and has all their physical or medical needs accounted for. Having two of my own dogs I know how important it is to have peace of mind! My background in addition to pet care and sitting has also involved working with herding dogs on ranches as well as many years of horse, goat, and chicken care! I work as a full time artist and walk dogs part time. Typically Sunday through Wednesday are my available days! I’m happy to accommodate your schedule as much as possible. Safety is the priority. Before any walks I will check with you about any safety concerns such as whether your dog has behavioral issues, escapes out the door or out of their collar, or any joint pain or physical limitations they may have. I will tend to stick to routes they are familiar with as this is usually the safest route.

I currently work part time, and on my own schedule, so I am available to tailor my schedule to help better suit your pets' needs. I can come in a timely fashion to your home to feed, walk, and provide love and care for your animals. I have my own transportation and can take your animals to the vet in case of an emergency.

About: Growing up and not having pets only made me love them even more as an adult! I have pet sat for many friends, including overnight and enjoy it each time. It’s like spoiling your nieces and nephews but in furry form. Pet care is just a bonus for me, it allows me to love on furry friends, as I do not have any myself. Simply because my housing does not allow it. Weekends are ideal but if it’s stopping by and checking in in the morning or evening, I am absolutely available! The great thing about animals is they can sense the kind of person you are and if they like you or not. Respecting a pets space is just as important as a humans space. About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, and horses, and caring for them has always been second nature to me. I’ve supported senior pets through their final stages with patience and compassion, and I’ve also helped care for newborn litters, closely monitoring their health and development as they grow. I also have personal experience caring for handicapped pets. I’ve owned and cared for an older three-legged dog, and I’ve helped friends with pets who needed assistance walking, standing, or getting comfortable. I have a Belgian Malinois mix who has 24 hour access to our fully fenced backyard with plenty of space to run and explore. She can also come in and relax in our upstairs office whenever she would like, so she is free to choose where she feels most comfortable. We go on daily walks and occasional hikes to keep her happy and fulfilled. Because I also have three indoor cats, one elderly and one still quite young, I supervise full house access to make sure everyone feels safe and relaxed. My dog is very cat friendly, but I am always mindful of each animal’s comfort level. My cats have free roam of the house, lots of toys, cozy spots, and supervised outdoor time during warm summer days. I pay close attention to their different personalities and needs, especially my senior kitty. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping things as normal as possible for them. I like to learn their routine, when they eat, where they sleep, how they like to play, and any little quirks that make them unique. I know how important consistency is for animals, so I do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you are away.

I can provide a much smaller pack environment for your dog rather than a kennel where there could be 50 dogs at a time. Yikes!! My daily routine revolves around my pack needs. Our routine is generally foods, walks, parks, poops, pees, plays, sleeps, repeat…. Everything from simple walks and feeding to extended stays at my place or yours, it sounds like fun to me. I have a full time best friend and dog named Spreckles who is pretty close to perfect. His nickname is Sprex. He is Hawaiian, so naturally he is very friendly and mellow with tons of Aloha. My number one priority is pack safety. I follow a daily routine and consistent schedule with my pack. Our day always starts with a nice walk to a nearby park. I use my own custom made leash system that I can walk many dogs at the same time, safely and securely. When we’re not out walking or at the park we do a lot of chilling and hanging out around our house and fenced in yard. I promote the pack mentality among my dogs as I am always their pack leader who ensures their safety and protection all the time. I’m glad to use your dog’s crate at my house whenever I am not home if needed (not typical). Sometimes I take the pack out on planned field trips, usually afternoons and weekends, to various places throughout the area. Frenchy Park is right across the street from my house and super fun for the pups. I treat and protect each dog as if they were my own and love them all unconditionally. FYI, I don’t introduce my pack to other dogs that we don’t know, to avoid any unwanted drama and to keep everyone safe. New dogs really shouldn’t be introduced while on leashes anyway. I speak the language of dogs and am confident around them always. I am always their alpha who provides a fun and safe space for my pack.

About: Dog owners would love my service because I am very passionate about caring for dogs. Dogs would love my service because I give treats, unconditional love, and lots of hugs and petting. I have 3 dogs of my own and they get bathed, spoiled, treats, sleep with me and care when they are sick. In summer they get air conditioned and in winter they get by the heater. I am available anytime day or night. I will treat your dogs with the upmost respect and as if they were mine and you will be satisfied with my service and will want to bring them back. About: I used to work for a company that did house soft and dog training. 12 years of animal experience. I will check on animals and attend to them no matter the circumstances. I used to be a dog trainer and can help teach many cues. I work during the day but during the night and weekends I can help. I work full time at an animal shelter as a behavior Specialist. I can care for the animals overnight and before and after work. If needed I can do an afternoon check in. I work from 9am to 6pm at my other job. I treat the clients pet like my own.
