24/7 Compassionate Cat Care
I have always had cats in my life. When I moved out on my own, I adopted my very own. Soon after that, I adopted her a friend to keep her company. Since then I have volunteered at humane societies, pet sat for friends, family, and acquaintances, and even constructed a play shed for my cats! I think cats are fascinating animals and love caring for them and interacting with them. I'd love to play and entertain your cat as much (or as little) as they like!

I understand that every cat is different. If caring for your pet means showing up to put food and water in their bowl, and watching them skulk under the couch until I leave, I'm happy to give them their space! I also love to play with cats and their toys, and brush them if they'll let me. I cannot offer boarding at my home currently because of my own animals I have in the house, but I am happy to travel to your home.

Reiley was a great communicator, sent plenty of photos, and reliably handled food, water, litter, and even helped with an ant issue with her kibble. However, I did have some concerns. When we met ahead of time, I let Reiley know we had a camera in our auto feeder in the kitchen and sometimes check in on our kitty if we are out of town, but it doesn’t have memory and we didn’t feel the need to be intentionally monitoring him. We scheduled 8 one hour drop in visits for the first week we were gone, then he stayed overnight for the last 3 nights of our trip. When we were boarding the plane, we happened to catch the beginning of the first drop in visit. He came in, scooped litter, fed her, then left. The entire visit was less than 10 minutes. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and didn’t have storage on the camera, so we didn’t get the chance to check whether he was giving her love and affection during other visits until the 4th check in, when the same thing happened (this time was closer to 15 minutes). The visits were logged as 1 hour+ and the accompanying updates described spending substantial time with her, which did not match what we observed. After we brought this up, he apologized, completed a second check in that day, refunded the price difference, and the remaining visits did appear to last the full hour. However, being overseas on a long trip and having to pay for camera storage just to feel confident our cat was actually receiving the care we booked was very stressful. I’m glad she was ultimately cared for, but we felt misled and unfortunately would not book him again.
Reiley took excellent care of our cats!
Reilly is my go-to sitter for our kitty, Romeo. He is so good with cats that he is able to get Romeo to leave his hiding place and socialize. Reilly also did a great job watering my container plants during our heat wave in Santa Fe.

Zeitplan
I currently work full time during the day, but I am available most, if not all, times and days in the morning and evening. I spend time grooming and playing with my own pets every day, but they allow me to step away and take care of others whenever necessary.
