About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I have had two registered therapy dogs and have house sat for numerous families. I love all dogs and just want them to be cared for whi families enjoy their time away I’m retired so I have an open schedule and am free for days or weeks depending on your needs. I can housework or host. Just let me know anytime I have a gated yard as well as doggie door access and don’t really crate animals. I let them run free in the house unless otherwise specified
“Jessica was great with my older Saint Bernard. She put my girl at ease and updated me on their visit including pictures. My Saint was calm and happy when I returned home. Thanks Jessica!”

About: I can stay at your home or I can board your pets at my home (boarding only if you have small lap dogs). For boarding, I keep your pets indoors with our pets in our personal living space so your pets should be clean, house-broken, and tolerant of children. We have a very clean home with mostly red brick tile throughout (except for the bedrooms which have white carpet). We have a small doggie door which enters into a small fenced area (4'x12') for self-potty breaks while we are at work (if your dogs know how to use a doggie door). We can also close this door if your dog is an escape artist. Our home is located in the east mountains off the Zuzax exit (about 15 minutes from Tramway Blvd). We both work (I have summers off) so we come to Albuquerque every day via I-40 and would be happy to pick up your pet at a meeting location if the drive is a pain for you. We have a huge horse barn and several acres as our backyard. We have a mini-horse, three mini goats, three chickens, two small dogs, and a cat. Why is my rate so reasonable you ask? Because we don't do this to make a living. Getting to care for other peoples furry children brings much happiness & joy to our lives too. If it was a pain in the rear, we'd charge much much more. But it's not, it's a treat for us. I also automatically donate 5% of my pet sitting fee's to K9's for Warriors via Rover.com. K9's for Warriors provides service canines to warriors suffering from post-traumatic stress and/or traumatic brain injury as a result of military service. About this sitter: I'm a married mother of two children, and many animal children. I work full-time as a social worker. Caring for pets is a natural extension of my care of humans. Why I love dog sitting: I've been a dog lover since I was little. My families Norwegian Elkhound had puppies when I was 2 years old and I have pictures of my twin sister and I being so in love with them and carrying them everywhere we went. When I was 19, I bought a dog book and combed the pages looking for my best K-9 match. I ended up getting a Shih Tzu and a Brussels Griffon. 20 years later, we now have Budrow, my 14 year old Norfolk Terrier mix, Gracie, my 2 year old mini-Australian Sheppard/mini-Poodle mix, and a 4 year old sweet long hair female cat named Aphrodite. They are all best buddies and they enjoy having furry houseguests. Meet my pets: We have one mini-horse, three mini-goats, three chickens, 2 small dogs, and a cat. About my yard: We have a huge backyard (5 acres), some areas are fenced some are not. If your dogs are diggers, I'd worry that they might get into the chicken coop or the goat area. We do not want to host large outdoor dogs at this time, until we get proper sturdy fencing around the entire property. We are currently only hosting indoor lap dogs at this time. My experience administering medication: Yes, I will administer medication (including shots) unless a dog bites or gets squirrely. I accommodate your pets needs around my work schedule. In the Fall or Spring I occasionally have my teenagers sports events or meets to attend. I treat you pets like my own and if I’m caring for your pets in my own home they will be included in my regular life, living room time (sunning windows, movie nights on the couch, etc), grass time, playtime, sleep time, etc.
“Montgomery’s experience with animals was so appreciated when she spent time with our two dogs. Both are giant breeds and have been rescued. With one, we are working on anxiety and meeting people. So, Montgomery’s speciality behavioural training with dogs was wonderful to know about and see in action when she met and spent time with both dogs. We were impressed with her attention to detail and questions asked. The most important aspect was how comfortable and easily our dogs adapted to her and paid attention to her. Thank you so much. We are looking forward to having Montgomery take care of our dogs again.”

About: I’ve taken care of animals of every kind since I was 12… from dogs, to cats, to horses. I volunteered for a no kill animal shelter as a teenager where I cared for, exercised, and assisted in adoption efforts. I’m relied on by neighbors and friends to walk and care for their animals and look forward to caring for yours. Animals truly hold a special place in my heart. I have a flexible work schedule which allows me plenty of time to care for your animals. I enjoy walking and hiking in the mountains with my dogs and look forward to incorporating yours. I have a fenced yard with 2.5 acres of land. I have a section fenced off in the backyard for smaller animals. I have two friendly dogs for your animals to play with.
About: I have taken care of animals as far back as a kid. I was the neighbor who loved other people's fur kids. Through the years I have traveled being a military spouse and I was the spouse who always took in others' pets while they went on vacations or work-related trips. I have also done volunteer work at shelters and been a foster parent for dogs/cats when needed. I spent some time in Tanzania one summer and quickly became the cow and chicken whisperer at an orphanage I volunteered at. I am able to do drop-in or babysit your fur kids at my home; as I am always home. I am currently a full-time online college student and do not currently work. In the past years, I have done a lot of volunteer work with shelters and was an educational assistant to special needs kids in the public school system. Cats and dogs are welcome in my home, and I have dog/cat beds available for their comfort. I also have three small dogs of my own that are super dog and cat friendly. We also have a seven-month-old kitten we adopted and he does well with other cats and dogs. I do not have a gated fence, as mine are trained to stay in the yard. I can take other pets out on a leash and walk for potty breaks. We have 7 acres. For drop-ins, I can feed, water, and walk your pets. I also do clean up after them and spend time playing and loving on your pets too.
“Myrka is so great! She’s very responsive and leaves great details about each interaction. She’s very professional and my pup enjoys her! I have used her multiples times and would highly recommend her💕”

“Such an amazing person to work with! Super dependable, great communication, goes above and beyond in every way imaginable. We had an emergency with my cat and Joy was amazing. She was communicating through every step and handled the situation easily. 100% would recommend!”

About: I have lots of flexibility throughout the day and on the weekends. I’m a proud fur mama of a 4 year old Shih Tzu. She’s very well behaved and loves other animals and people. We don’t have any other children or pets so when I pet sit she gets the opportunity to play with her friends at home. We have an open home where the dogs are free to roam around or in and out of the house to our gated and secure backyard. I wanted to become a sitter for a couple reasons. I know what its like looking for a dog sitter myself. It’s hard to know who to trust with our fury family members. I’m responsible, reliable, and most importantly I have integrity. My other reason is because, I enjoy it! I work part time as a Registered Nurse. If I have accepted to care for your dog in my home that is because I will be home all day to care for your furry friend. I will have time to play with them, take them for walks, and give them the attention they need. Safety is number one in my book. My home is clean and free of clutter. Pets are free to play in our secured and large fenced areas and watched carefully.

“Maggie did an amazing job with my pets. She was on time for each drop in, and I could tell by the pictures and our meet and greet that Maggie treated them well. My dog warmed up to her right away, which does not always happen with all pet sitters I have had in the past. I came back to happy animals. I would recommend Maggie for sure!”
“Lilly is fantastic! She has come to our home multiple times over the past few months to take care of our husky / pit mix. Our dog loves her and I love feeling confident that Lilly has got things under control! She makes sure to send me updates and cute pictures and is perfectly communicative. I couldn’t recommend her services enough!”
About: I’ve taken care of my senior dog for four years before she passed away. This includes feeding, bathing, brushing, meeting her potty needs and walking. I also pet sit for two dogs when their owner is out of town. I work for a restaurant during the morning or afternoon shift for roughly 6 hours. I can work in between those times and I only have one shift a day. (Some days are completely open!) I am very good about respecting spaces and following directions. I usually walk dogs twice a day around the neighborhood; however, I will follow whatever directions are given. I love giving attention to pets, especially dogs that need some extra care. Adopting my dog as a senior gave me a special love for all senior dogs!

About: I am a "doggie daddy" of 9 years to my princess Naomi (she's a pitbull/retriever mix and also a rescue) and my sweet pumpkin Luna (she's a pure black lab with all of the energy and sweetness.) I truly love and adore animals and believe that we humans are so lucky to be blessed with their one of a kind, unconditional love & affection. Pups deserve all of the love, great tummy rubs and play time to satisfy them so they live a fulfilling life on their way too brief time on this Earth. I will provide safe and fun walks for all dogs that will allow them to expend their energy and mark all of the territory they please. For home visits, I like to engage them and play with them in their favorite space and give them the attention & affection they need and try to supplement what they are missing when their "people" aren't available.
