About: I have had animals my whole life, and have worked in the pet industry for 6 years. My day job experience has been at 2 different local pet food stores, where I’ve learned a lot about the needs of dogs and cats, as well as body language. My old job had foster cats, so I have experience taking care of up to 10 cats at a time (feeding, litter cleaning, meds, and playtime). I also have pet sat for many of my friends and family members. I love walking! I enjoy taking my own dog on short walks or really long walks to get his energy out. I have experience with high energy dogs that may pull or not be comfortable around other dogs or people. I also have experience with puppies and kittens, and special needs pets. I’ve owned 2 disabled dogs that required diaper changes, meds, and regular bathing and cleaning up after them. I am currently going to school full time at UNM. My schedule is pretty flexible though, and I am willing to work with you! I can come before, in between, or after class and on weekends! I will always want to come meet you and your pet before I start the service. I will take notes on everything so I can keep your pet on their routine, no matter how specific. I want to make you and your pet 100% comfortable! I am experienced with reading body language with pets, so I can tell if your pet is too overwhelmed or nervous. I also love sending updates, including photos and videos, to let you know how your fur baby is doing!

About: I have owned dogs all of my life and understand that they are family members and should be treated as such! I love all dogs from big to small and young to old. While I do not have any pets of my own right now, I would love to help care for yours whether it be feeding, walking, playing, loving on them or more. I am currently off for the summer leaving me plenty of time to care for your pets. From August to May, I work 2 days a week so I will still have plenty of availability. I have two daughters who live with me part time ages 9 and 7 who love pets as well. I would love to care for your pets as you see fit in your home! Just let me know their daily routine and I can accommodate.

About: My partner and I own a house in Cedar Crest on a quiet dead-end road with a fenced yard, dog door and nearby access to hiking trails. I work from home, so I am available for fetch and belly rubs all day! We have a lovely fenced in yard which is great for fetch or playing. We currently have a 12 year old male golden retriever who is great with other dogs. We also have a 7 year old female Bernese Mountain dog who is an adorably lazy playmate, and 3 year old female rescue Berner who has more energy. We also have an indoor/outdoor cat who gets along with dogs well. I have been pet sitting on Rover off and on for about 10 years in both Nevada and Oregon and have cared for our friends and neighbors dogs since moving to New Mexico. I work full-time from home, so I'm almost always at home with my animals and yours! Our daily routine revolves around our dogs, and yours. We have a fenced yard with dog door access to the house. Since I work from home, I am readily available to walk, feed or pet any dog who asks for it. We let our dogs on the furniture and bed but can easily adjust if needed.

“Rita was great! She came by for 4 days to feed my cat, clean her litter, and play with her. During these drop in visits she sent my photos and I could see that she was taking great care of my cat. She was super accommodating before. She came by for a meet and greet first, then she even came by to pick up my key as I forgot to make one for her ahead of time. About: I am retired and a animal lover with experience caring for puppies, seniors, rescues, and giant breeds. Reliable, patient care in a safe, pet-friendly environment. I am currently retired from government work and a non profit career. I retired very young and I am very active, loving nature and walking. I have two very large dog runs with dog houses in each. My pets are both indoors at night and in their dog run daily.

About: We had a senior dog that was getting close to 16 so I'm fine with doing a bunch of little extra things for their food. I have never administered medication or done any dog training I have school from 8:15 to 1:35 and on wensdays it's 8:15 to 11:25. On weekends there's not much going on so my schedule is pretty open for whatever is needed. I have plenty of experience with tricking animals with food. Most of my time is spent petting them but I'm happy to play with them or take them on walks.

And Rufus was cared for both physically and emotionally. Please note that Rufus is a special needs cat and that Sophia was required to give him medication as well as food and water.”

I currently work at Stone Age Climbing Gym and am building a business in yoga and movement practice. I am flexible and love getting pets out during the day and hours that make it convenient for my clients. I offer whatever services are in need for a given pet and person and work with my clients to develop a plan of what that looks like. About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life from german shepherds to dachshunds . The only time I can recall not having a dog was the first couple years in the Navy because I was out to sea so much. I love dogs of all sizes! I currently have a 10 year old weimaraner of my own Ari. So your precious pup will have someone to play with while staying with me. I take my own dog on walks/hikes, to dog park, runs, and swimming when we can find water for her. For being in Navy veteran and nurse, I am responsible and will take good care of your pup. Plus, there is vet not even .25 miles from home, if something where to go array which is not likely. Can't wait to meet you and your pup! I am currently in masters program and working remote and essentially here all day with them. Plenty of potty breaks and walks to come. Safe friendly neighborhood I have a fenced yard and lots of easy safe walking my neighborhood. I can crate them if you prefer but they are allowed on furniture here.

About: I have grown up with dogs all my life, from Yorkies to German Shepherds. Providing the love and care to other dogs while you’re away is my priority! To give you the peace of mind your fur baby is both physically and mentally stimulated during our time together. I am very active, love going on hikes and finding new parks in the area! I am in the end of my surgical residency making my schedule relatively flexible. While I am unable to have a dog of my own full time, I can care and love for others in the mean time! While I do live in an apartment, there is a park with walking trails right across the street that I walk daily. Staying active is an essential part of my life!

About: I have been pet sitting since my early teens watching all my neighbors' animals. I've always been an animal lover and you can see it quickly in how your animals will respond to meeting me! I've adopted several dogs and cats in my time, and I am well versed in dealing with most conditions, including giving medication to an unhappy pet. My pet services aren't just about making sure your pet is alive, feed, and pottied. Their emotional well-being is just as important to me and I take the time to play and get to know each of my pet clients. I currently am a stay at home mom and am available to check in on your pets throughout the day and evening as needed throughout the week. I'd love to have continuous clients so that I can better serve you and your pets as I get to know them each better! The services offered by me would be in your home (aka your pet's safe space) or on walks in nearby neighborhoods or parks. I will take the time to make sure your pet is played and socialized in the manner they are most used to!
