About: I lost my sixteen-year-old fur baby in October, 2018 and find myself missing that special energy only pets can bring. I have been caring for various pets for my friends and family for about 20 years and have done drop ins and overnight visits. I do have a full-time 8-5:30, Monday-Friday (and many Saturdays) job however, and am not available to provide constant care for pets. I do have more than enough time to devote myself to the love and care of your fur baby. In my home, in my life, dogs and cats are family and deserve the same love, care, and respect that human beings deserve. Perhaps more. While I have more experience with dogs I haven’t met a cat I couldn’t win over. Rest assured that if you place the care of your beloved pets in my hands they will be well loved while you are out of town. Your home will be cared for as well. I do have a “regular” 8 am to 5 pm job. My evenings and nights are free. Weekends are also more flexible for me when it comes to spending quality time with your baby. I am not able to provide constant care. I live in an apartment complex so I am more than happy to visit your fur baby in their own environment. I want to make sure your pets are as comfortable as possible so I’d prefer to maintain the schedule and comfort they’re used to.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, I’ve watched big dogs like pit bulls to tiny little shi tzu’s. While I don’t have professional experience, I know a lot about dogs and I’m very gentle and tending to an owners needs. I’ve been trusted by many family members to watch and walk their dogs and have received nothing but positive feedback. I truly have a heart for dogs and am motivated to make them happy. I’m working part time due to my full time college schedule, so I have a lot of time to walk dogs or pet sit them while you are away at work! I’m looking to make some extra money to afford studying dental hygiene at UNM. I get out of class at about 2:30pm every weekday, and after that I’m free. I live in an apartment with many huge grass patches for dogs to run around, along with a dog park on the property. I also have a patio for them to play, and a huge crate for my own dog which any dog could use if needed. I’m very good with instructions, because I’m picky myself when finding a dog sitter.

I'm experienced, trustworthy, kind, compassionate, and zen. I provide a variety of services to ensure your home is secure and well-maintained while you're away. In addition to overnight home and pet care, my "drop-in" services include pet feeding, mail collection, plant care, snow clearing, and trash & recycling. I am experienced in administering medication, can do lite grooming care and bathing, and have cared for both older and younger pets alike. I also keep my head in emergencies and believe that honest, clear communication is key to resolving most issues efficiently. I am a freelancer by trade, working primarily digitally (which allows me the freedom to travel from time to time), so my schedule tends to be somewhat flexible. I do like to have some notice when planning care for pets, and clear (as possible) instructions when pet needs are more complex. I cannot care for pets in my home, however; I'm happy to travel to your home for drop-ins as often as you'd like. I prefer longer engagements as I feel that pets in general prefer people they know, and I don't enjoy causing them any unnecessary anxieties, so overnights are the types of gigs I commit to.
