In the past we have used a great local kennel but due to concerns about the horrible canine virus circulating in several states last year we decided to try something different this trip. We paid a little more than we normally would have, but our dogs were less stressed due to the calmer environment (no other dogs, did not have to be crated at night) and the loving attention provided by Mark. Mark was great at sending daily updates and pics via messaging throughout the stay so that we could see how our pups were doing. I’m sure Mark stays pretty booked due to his loving care but we would definitely consider using his service again for futures needs, assuming he is available.”

About: I had a cat growing up that would have kittens and everyone wanted one because she was so friendly and smart. She trusted me and would let me bathe her kittens and let me gently blow- dry her n her kittens in the winter. Had her for about 10 yrs! I enjoy their company and can coax any shy cat to be petted or combed and don’t mind when they sit on my lap or want to be petted. Spending time with your pet would be a pleasure. About: I’ve taken care of cats for a long time. I’m no stranger to cats’ individual personalities and quirks when it comes to mealtimes or playtime. I will make sure litter boxes are fresh and will do Accident Patrol through the house and make sure everything is in order and comfortable for them. About: From birth I have been surrounded by cats, dogs, horses, chickens, goats, and many creatures in between. My dad trained dogs and horses (no such thing as cat training…. If you know, you know) and taught me all he knows. I have fostered and trained puppies and currently have 2 cats of my own who are great with dogs. I had to remove all of my bengal’s teeth after an emergency and had to fight a newly adopted bengal to give him his antibiotics and pain meds in forms of pills and drops. Your pets activity level will become mine- young or old hearted I am here to hang! I got cats so I could go away for weekends and still hire folks on Rover to come give them love on trips they can’t come cause I feel too bad otherwise. Pets are our babies and alike to humans all have their own personalities. I am super excited to get to know yours and thank you for trusting me with your family members :) I work 12 hour night shifts from 7pm-7am 3 days a week, but my partner works from home so there is always someone to give them love. Off days are spent in the mountains on trails or relaxing around the house. I have a large backyard and 2 cats who are missing a dog to play with or rooms they can safely relax in if your furry friend is not other-pet friendly. I come home to go on a walk and wake up in time to drink some coffee and enjoy some hours before work. I have a high fenced yard. I like to keep the routine the same as their normal, so will rely on your directions on when to feed, exercise, and wind down if there are any specifics. About: Hello my name is Wendy. I am an assertive individual with a calm energy, who is flexible on size and breed, and with over ten years experience providing pet care. I own vehicle that can accommodate multiple dogs comfortably and take 2-3 walks daily, even in inclement weather. I have the flexibility of caring for puppies and understand the need for frequent potty breaks as well as playtime opportunities for socialization. I often board dogs from multiple families concurrently, and provide separate areas for meal time in order to keep feeding time safe. Play time is supervised and breed appropriate toys are available upon request to ensure a safe fun stay. If I am required to leave the house while caring for your pet, I separate all dogs and have a large crate available if needed I am self employed and able to make my own schedule. This allows me to accommodate a variety of needs that my clients may have. At my current residence, I have a fenced in back yard to allow for safe off leash exploration. And now that I am an adult I have a high energy, silly kitty named Pearl! Growing up I was responsible for walking Ruby every day after school and on the weekends. I was also Velma's preferred human, she would join me while I did my homework and even when I left to college my mom would send me pictures of her on my pillow. (Daphne was a wall flower and stuck to herself for the most part haha) Pearl is my kitty with full energy! I play at least five times a day, 30 minutes each with her and I have been doing clicker training. She successfully has no issues with nail trimming, going to the vet, and is learning new commands. I enjoy hiking in the Sandia Foothills so I would love to take you doggie out there or in your local neighbor hood! I will match your furry friend's energy, so if they prefer to sit on the couch for cuddles, I am more than happy to do so! I am currently working part time working on my children's graphic novel pitch so I have plenty of availability to spend time with your fur baby! I have availability from 9am-10pm. On hotter days I prefer to walk your pups before noon or after 5pm evening so they don't overheat. I would love to meet your pet first before we work together (no charge). About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 15 years old. Most of them I have either met online or the neighborhood. I have worked with any age from 0-12 and can make your baby feel at home while their owners are not around. I currently work night shifts 4 days a week so I have tons of time to feed, walk, or bathe you’re loved ones. Whenever I am not at home I do have my boyfriend at home holding down the fort so your baby will never be alone. You can trust me with feeding, walking, bathing and/or giving them their medicines. I will show them just as much love as I show my own furries and if they are at my home, my babies will make them feel welcome.
About: I have past experience in administering medicine including insulin and pills, as well as cleaning litter boxes, picking up dog poop, and feeding bearded dragons. I'm a college student working at a restaurant, but I am available throughout the day between school and work, and at nights. Overall pet sitting fits into my schedule just as well as any average person. I have a cat in my home who is vaccinated and well cared for, so if a pet is coming to my home it must be OK around cats, my cat is also used to dogs and other animals, although I would prefer to watch animals at their house. I care for them by feeding them according to their schedule, always providing fresh water, and taking them on any necessary walks, or runs, and of course cleaning up the poop or puke that occurs.

Our yard is completely fenced six foot high with no gaps. The dogs will stay outside unless it’s cold or rainy. Inside, I keep a clean (tho covered in fur), dog-friendly space with water always available and hazardous items well out of reach. There are two cats inside so I do need to know if your dog is or isn’t cat friendly. I know dog body language from my years of boarding, so I can spot stress or overstimulation before it becomes an issue. If any pup needs a break, I have quiet spaces set up for alone time. I also require updated vaccines and am comfortable giving oral medications if needed. With two friendly resident dogs, I carefully manage introductions and group play to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable.
