About: I am retired and a animal lover with experience caring for puppies, seniors, rescues, and giant breeds. Reliable, patient care in a safe, pet-friendly environment. I am currently retired from government work and a non profit career. I retired very young and I am very active, loving nature and walking. I have two very large dog runs with dog houses in each. My pets are both indoors at night and in their dog run daily.

My dog had a blast playing with her and other dog she was watching. We were delayed in our travels and she was very flexible! About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.

About: I’ve owned three dogs throughout my life. Being able to care for your pets bring me so much joy! Family and friends always have me look after their pets when they go on vacation! I go on a daily walk so watching pets fits perfectly into this schedule. “I met Elaine and her doggies about a year ago. My dogs finally stayed at her house for four nights last month, and then for one day last week. My dogs had already met her dogs a year ago, and when they met up again, they were like old pals. No growling or hassling. It was perfect! I got daily updates and pictures from Elaine. It was so comforting! And my dogs did great at her house and with her dogs, and it was just the best! I booked a full-day stay last week, and they were literally going INSANE when we were driving into her neighborhood. That tells me a lot about their experience there! They love going to Elaine's house! Our next booking is during the Christmas-New Year's Eve time frame, and my dogs are already so excited, and Elaine has let me know that so is she, and she's gearing her doggies up for a week-long visit :-) My neighbors/friends that used to keep them all the time are moving back to NJ, so this is exactly what I needed at this time in my life. I feel completely comfortable leaving my dogs at Elaine's, whether it's for a day or a week! This is the best thing EVER!!!!”

I like playing with my dogs in the backyard. I like taking them on walks and spending as much time with them as I possibly can. I have a special heart for every dog i see no matter what breed it is. I am a friendly and fun individual. I work M-F 8-5. When I get home, I pay extra attention to my own dogs with lots of loving. I will do the same with your loved ones. I have a fenced yard and a dog that loves to play with others. We go outside and play with toys. We get lots of snuggles.

About: If there's anything that I can brighten my day, it's seeing a happy dog! Since I was young I have always had a soft heart for all animals. I believe in the ethical treatment of animals, and I will advocate for them however I can. I have cared for many dogs of my own over the years, as well as for others. Your fur babies will get as much love as I give my own. Caring for animals has always brought me a deep sense of comfort and joy. I especially enjoy supporting senior pets or those who need a little extra attention, patience, and care. I recently lost my beloved dog of 15 years to cutaneous lymphoma, which required attentive, around-the-clock care, including carefully timed medications and a thoughtfully managed diet tailored to his health needs. He was truly a member of my family, and his loss has left a significant space in my life—one of the reasons I’ve chosen to join Rover. I’m very attentive, protective, and detail-oriented when it comes to an animal’s well-being. My experience has also led me to learn extensively about canine health, particularly cancer prevention and supportive care. Caring for animals is important to me, as I know completely how worrisome it can be to give your baby to someone else and hope they get the same love and care. I have always been very cautious with my pets in any situation and this is one of the reasons I joined Rover. I understand the nervousness of giving someone else the responsibility of your beloved pet, and if I can be that relief to someone else then I would love to! The attention, detail, and care I put into them reflects my fees.
