About: Hello! Thank you so much for considering me to care for your furry friends. I've always been a huge animal lover and enjoy helping people. I have a fully trained Belgian Malinois and a sweet Siamese cat, both of whom are my babies. I promise to treat your pets with the same love and care. If your dog pulls on the leash, that's not a problem at all! I'm tall and strong, and I'm confident in my ability to handle even the most determined pups. With your permission, I can also incorporate some proven training exercises from professional trainers to help improve their leash manners. Taking care of animals is something I genuinely love and have plenty of experience with. Animals are so pure and full of love, and I strive to be the kind of person they deserve. If you give me the opportunity to care for your fur baby, I'll ensure they receive all the love and proper care they need. I hope you choose me, and I look forward to meeting your furry one(s) soon! Thank you! ❤️ 🐾 Now Offering a Private Sniff Spot for Your Pup! 🐾 Feel free to reach out with any questions or to book a visit! 🐶💛 I work from home remotely so I’m available all week. Some times I do have to go in the office for a week, but that’s typically only once a month. Just let me know what you need and I can make it work! Whatever your fur baby might need; walks, check ins, feeding, water, medication, exercise, exta love & attention, the list can go on just you let me know and I'd be more than happy to be the one to do it! 😁

They did a wonderful job with Koko. They took her for a walk, gave her belly rubs and sent multiple updates and pics. She is a nervous girl and they were very reassuring. She seemed very well cared for and I would absolutely leave her with them again.

Celeste was warm, friendly, and kind with Oreo, who is still getting used to doggy daycare. She made sure Oreo felt comfortable. Her dog Murphy was as gentle and welcoming, which really helped Oreo adjust. I’m super grateful for the care and looking forward to having Oreo stay with Celeste and Murphy again. Thank you!

FANTASTIC!!! If you're looking for a professional, friendly, educated alpha, you need to book through Esperita! She is very quick and responsive to messages. She picks my pup up for me, and sends me a picture msg of my dog, letting me know they made it to her place! She also sends updates with pictures! (LOVE IT!!!) I could tell my hyper GSD had a blast at her place because she's always so tired afterwards! Thanks again Rita for being sooo awesome and caring <3

Christina is a very thoughtful sitter! She has a great set up. Extra dog crates, a gate before the door so no one runs out, covered couch she lets the dogs up on, and a good little yard. My dog had a blast playing with her and other dog she was watching. We were delayed in our travels and she was very flexible! Told me not to rush and sent a ton of pictures letting me know Lyra was having a good time. She even let me book last minute with a quick meet and greet the night before. Thanks Christina!

James has been awesome with foster George (AKA Houdini) who has been on the euthanasia list 3 times. . . and his next time will be his last. George is the sweetest dog ever but his escapism has been problematic. James has been his life saver while I am at work, and has provided George playmates and activity throughout the day. James is DEFINITELY worth considering if you need care for your dog. . . (Just don't steal George's spot. . . We need James.)

I was visiting town and needed a last-minute dog daycare option, and she was fantastic. She was very responsive and took the time to meet me and my pup beforehand, which made me feel comfortable right away. My pup was tired from the day and all the activities, but she handled her with both care and confidence. She quickly became part of the pack, played with the other dogs, and came back happily exhausted. She also sent photos and text updates, which I really appreciated. I especially liked how attentive she was with my pup’s prescribed medication. It gave me real peace of mind knowing she was safe, cared for, and having a great time while I was away. Highly recommend!

About: I have lots of flexibility throughout the day and on the weekends. I’m a proud fur mama of a 4 year old Shih Tzu. She’s very well behaved and loves other animals and people. We don’t have any other children or pets so when I pet sit she gets the opportunity to play with her friends at home. We have an open home where the dogs are free to roam around or in and out of the house to our gated and secure backyard. I wanted to become a sitter for a couple reasons. I know what its like looking for a dog sitter myself. It’s hard to know who to trust with our fury family members. I’m responsible, reliable, and most importantly I have integrity. My other reason is because, I enjoy it! I work part time as a Registered Nurse. If I have accepted to care for your dog in my home that is because I will be home all day to care for your furry friend. I will have time to play with them, take them for walks, and give them the attention they need. Safety is number one in my book. My home is clean and free of clutter. Pets are free to play in our secured and large fenced areas and watched carefully.

Guest is 8 pounds or under and has a non-aggressive disposition. Will walk Will meet prior to booking. Will medicate if provided current prescription bottle with directions. Can pick-up and drop off Minimum 1 night up to 7 (exceptions considered) Your place: All visits, number and size of pups as well as your location are considered after an on-site meet and greet. Please note: Due to a high amount of cancellations, please note there is a 7 day notification period to receive complete refund. I am 100% retired and a dog lover. I will provide your fur babies with all my attention, love and care! Please see my reviews from past clients. Your fur baby will be treated as if my own. When I had Adam & Indy watch my dogs for the second time, my dogs and Indy were so happy to see eachother again like they missed eachother and one of my dogs even jumped on the couch to sit next to Adam to say hi. Clearly they were well taken care of and have new great friends! Definitely recommend Adam!!

About: I have grown up with dogs all my life, from Yorkies to German Shepherds. Providing the love and care to other dogs while you’re away is my priority! To give you the peace of mind your fur baby is both physically and mentally stimulated during our time together. I am very active, love going on hikes and finding new parks in the area! I am in the end of my surgical residency making my schedule relatively flexible. While I am unable to have a dog of my own full time, I can care and love for others in the mean time! While I do live in an apartment, there is a park with walking trails right across the street that I walk daily. Staying active is an essential part of my life!

About: Caring, reliable, and experienced pet parent of a happy and lively 13-year-old male Papillon (retired champion show dog!). I have open availability in my schedule throughout the week. I would love to start taking care of new clients in Albuquerque. I especially love taking my furry friends for fun-filled long walks or having an impromptu photo shoot at your home to show off your pet. I'm comfortable with young, active pups and kittens as well as senior dogs and cats who require medication or other extra care for individual needs. I believe in creating a personalized experience for each animal, based on their preferences, activity level, and health. When I housesit, I am happy to include additional services beyond pet care, such as bringing in the mail and packages, watering plants, bringing the garbage and recycling cans around, and alternating lights to ensure it looks like someone is around while you are out of town. I have many years of experience walking dogs and pet-sitting overnight in my former hometown of Austin, TX, as well as in the Washington, DC area, with many highly satisfied repeat clients. I would be happy to have a meet and greet with you and your dog or cat (or rabbit or birds) to discuss more details! I have plenty of time to play with your pets! I have a flexible schedule. I am available throughout the day and on weekends and holidays. If you'd like me to provide some socialization for your small dog while I'm walking them, we can see if our pets get along first. I only care for one household's pets at a time. Let me know the pet rules for your home (if fur babies can sit on the bed or what else might be off limits to them). I am very careful to properly harness dogs when taking them outside. Your pet will never be left unattended while in my care.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - San Antonito

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in San Antonito on Rover is $32.1 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 242 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across San Antonito. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your San Antonito commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in NM ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 242 sitters in San Antonito, 90% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
