Highly-rated overnight sitters - San Antonito
“Misty, our German Shepherd had a great time running around at Jessie’s for 5 days. Jessie did a great job of keeping us informed with daily updates and pictures of the dogs having fun. Thank you again!”

“Thank you so much, Boo had a lovely time she wasn’t stressed at all when we picked her up . I loved all the update pictures. Really put my mind at ease.”

“Anne is such a sweet and down to earth person. No wonder Minnie was so comfortable there with her. Anne’s dog and mine got along so well and I know she treated Minnie like her own. Highly recommend.”

“Lisa was an amazing cat sitter! She was incredibly sweet and took wonderful care of our cat, Woody. He has never been away from home before, and I was really nervous — but both Lisa and her dog, Gullu, were so gentle and comforting with him. I was genuinely surprised by how relaxed and at ease he seemed around them. Lisa sent us daily updates with photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. She was very responsive whenever we had questions and was super flexible with our schedule. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend her!”

“Josie and her husband made our little man Yoshi feel like family. She offeted great communication and checked in with daily updates. He ate well, got daily walks, and tons of playtime and cuddles. Very dog friendly home with toys and beds galore and a large backyard to play in. Paco the resident dog is friendly and playful. I recommend Josie 100%.”

“Bonni is Murphy’s home away from home. Bonni takes great care of Murphy. Murphy especially likes being around other dogs and is very comfortable and happy at Bonni’s. Murphy requires daily medication and Bonni can be trusted to give Murphy her medication and treat her as if she were he own.”

“Onrae was great. We left Ansel with him for just over a week and it really let us relax knowing he was in good hands. He sent several updates and pictures and was always quick to respond to messages and questions. He did a great job in trying to keep a good routine for the dog, and it seemed like Ansel loved playing with the kids and having a new environment to explore! Will definitely be looking to call him again in the future for our pet care needs!”

“Mark did such a great job at helping our anxious dog ease into his home while we were gone for the week. We received lots of updates and pictures, and we knew he was in good hands. Thanks Mark!”

“Cecilia is a wonderful caretaker for my dog Baldr, I have left him with her twice. She is very communicative and kind and I feel comfortable leaving my beloved older dog with her.”

“Kira had a good time staying with Debbie. She had fun playing with her two dogs. Debbie took her for a walk every day and also kept me updated with pictures.”

“Esmeralda and her family took very good care of our Spider. She sent us some photos and updates to stay connected which we really appreciate. She was also available with short notice and we would definitely let Spider stay with her again. When we arrived for pickup, Spider was relaxing in his bed in the living room, very calm and obviously very comfortable at Esmeralda's house. :) Excellent care”

“My biggest grudge is when someone expresses when they only gave one star " cuz they couldn't give any less"... When do we support local business and recognize our community for the good that surrounds us? !!! Recognize beauty people!!!!! This man is the real thing; a dog whisperer through and through. Incredibly kind, greeting my pup with a treat at first meet. Communication is HUGE for me. Pics were shared - almost immediately - and direct messages were alleviating. We all want to know our loved ones are in the best care. Michael is communicative, engaging with the guests, and truly, one of a kind. I'd book him immediately, if he doesn't forget my little girl...”

“Cindy was great with our three dogs while we were out of town. She is experienced and overall everything seems to have gone very well! She communicated regularly with us and was very flexible. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Joshua has a great way about him and the big yard/environment felt right for my pup. When I was away Joshua’s photos gave me relief that my dog was having a great time. Will definitely go back!”

“Brain did a fantastic job with my pups. I knew from his listing and our meet and greet that he was the person I wanted for my pups and was well worth driving from the other side of town. His home inside and out was perfectly set up for fun and rest for dogs. My one is more hyper with so much energy came home exhausted. Brian did well with giving medication to my elderly dog. He kept me updated when I was on my work trip so I didn’t need to worry. Thank you so much Brian!!”

“She handled my miscreant kitties beautifully (they get to go outside and sometimes don’t come in when planned but this was not an issue with Shelly)! I returned home to happy cats and that’s what it’s all about.”

“August was awesome!! I am a very anxious pet parent and I was able to feel comfortable leaving my 3 cats. Each report card was detailed and had tons of pictures, and I came back to 3 very happy kitties. They are normally spooked for a while after a sitter, but August really made an effort to make them feel safe and they clearly became friends. Would absolutely book again for pet care. 😊”

“Celeste was amazing with our boys in our home. She spent time loving on them, taking care of them, and making sure they were safe when she left. She sent pictures any time she visited and we always came home to no accidents and 2 very happy boys. Would DEFINITELY recommend and use again.”

“Leaving our cats and dog with someone new made me nervous, but Luca completely exceeded my expectations. Luca came for a meet-and-greet beforehand and asked questions about our cats and dog's routine. Luca sent multiple photos daily, giving total peace of mind. I highly recommend and will absolutely booking again.”

“Jessica was a fantastic sitter. She was gracious with me on the pre-sitting process such as meet and greet and then communicating on meeting for the keys. She shared her photos with us on the cats on each visits (close ups as I have cameras which see from far). She communicate with me on any issues with the cats (none so far) and her visits which were remedied quickly. I would like to rebook her again in the near future.”

“Rita sent pictures and videos everyday as she cat sat for us. Our cat is not as anxious as she was when we left her alone over a weekend. She is still healthy and did not cling to us too much when we came home. I recommend Rita and will be looking to see if she's available first for future bookings!”

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life from german shepherds to dachshunds . The only time I can recall not having a dog was the first couple years in the Navy because I was out to sea so much. I love dogs of all sizes! I currently have a 10 year old weimaraner of my own Ari. So your precious pup will have someone to play with while staying with me. I take my own dog on walks/hikes, to dog park, runs, and swimming when we can find water for her. For being in Navy veteran and nurse, I am responsible and will take good care of your pup. Plus, there is vet not even .25 miles from home, if something where to go array which is not likely. Can't wait to meet you and your pup! I am currently in masters program and working remote and essentially here all day with them. Plenty of potty breaks and walks to come. Safe friendly neighborhood I have a fenced yard and lots of easy safe walking my neighborhood. I can crate them if you prefer but they are allowed on furniture here.
“Alison was great with Oliver and Maui. We went away for a week and Alison provided pictures and messages on what they were doing. Would highly recommend and schedule with her again if available.”
About: I’ve lived with and cared for dogs all my life. In fact, my mother used to throw fits when she'd wake to find that I'd snuck out of my room at night to sleep in the dog house with the hounds! Having shared my home with more than 30 dogs of my own, I have fostered close more than 50, most recently senior, special needs, and medically fragile dogs. I also transport rescue dogs once a month from Texas to Utah. If you have dogs with special needs, medical issues, or healthy dogs, I'll take care of them with skill, patience, and love. Boarding or Day Care: While I'm happy to take all dogs over 25 lbs, I have an affinity for large, XL, and giant dogs. My home has XXL dog doors, dog beds, and 3 acres of fenced yard.
About: I have taken care of animals as far back as a kid. I was the neighbor who loved other people's fur kids. Through the years I have traveled being a military spouse and I was the spouse who always took in others' pets while they went on vacations or work-related trips. I have also done volunteer work at shelters and been a foster parent for dogs/cats when needed. I spent some time in Tanzania one summer and quickly became the cow and chicken whisperer at an orphanage I volunteered at. I am able to do drop-in or babysit your fur kids at my home; as I am always home. I am currently a full-time online college student and do not currently work. In the past years, I have done a lot of volunteer work with shelters and was an educational assistant to special needs kids in the public school system. Cats and dogs are welcome in my home, and I have dog/cat beds available for their comfort. I also have three small dogs of my own that are super dog and cat friendly. We also have a seven-month-old kitten we adopted and he does well with other cats and dogs. I do not have a gated fence, as mine are trained to stay in the yard. I can take other pets out on a leash and walk for potty breaks. We have 7 acres. For drop-ins, I can feed, water, and walk your pets. I also do clean up after them and spend time playing and loving on your pets too.
About: I have been pet sitting since my early teens watching all my neighbors' animals. I've always been an animal lover and you can see it quickly in how your animals will respond to meeting me! I've adopted several dogs and cats in my time, and I am well versed in dealing with most conditions, including giving medication to an unhappy pet. My pet services aren't just about making sure your pet is alive, feed, and pottied. Their emotional well-being is just as important to me and I take the time to play and get to know each of my pet clients. I currently am a stay at home mom and am available to check in on your pets throughout the day and evening as needed throughout the week. I'd love to have continuous clients so that I can better serve you and your pets as I get to know them each better! The services offered by me would be in your home (aka your pet's safe space) or on walks in nearby neighborhoods or parks. I will take the time to make sure your pet is played and socialized in the manner they are most used to!

About: I have lots of flexibility throughout the day and on the weekends. I’m a proud fur mama of a 4 year old Shih Tzu. She’s very well behaved and loves other animals and people. We don’t have any other children or pets so when I pet sit she gets the opportunity to play with her friends at home. We have an open home where the dogs are free to roam around or in and out of the house to our gated and secure backyard. I wanted to become a sitter for a couple reasons. I know what its like looking for a dog sitter myself. It’s hard to know who to trust with our fury family members. I’m responsible, reliable, and most importantly I have integrity. My other reason is because, I enjoy it! I work part time as a Registered Nurse. If I have accepted to care for your dog in my home that is because I will be home all day to care for your furry friend. I will have time to play with them, take them for walks, and give them the attention they need. Safety is number one in my book. My home is clean and free of clutter. Pets are free to play in our secured and large fenced areas and watched carefully.
“My girl Luna had a great time with Lwren and her husband. She spent 6-1/2 hours at their home. Felt very good about leaving her in their care. Luna is young and energetic. They did a great job of walking her and playing with her. We will be repeat customers!”

“I was visiting town and needed a last-minute dog daycare option, and she was fantastic. She was very responsive and took the time to meet me and my pup beforehand, which made me feel comfortable right away. My pup was tired from the day and all the activities, but she handled her with both care and confidence. She quickly became part of the pack, played with the other dogs, and came back happily exhausted. She also sent photos and text updates, which I really appreciated. I especially liked how attentive she was with my pup’s prescribed medication. It gave me real peace of mind knowing she was safe, cared for, and having a great time while I was away. Highly recommend!”

Guest is 8 pounds or under and has a non-aggressive disposition. Will walk Will meet prior to booking. Will medicate if provided current prescription bottle with directions. Can pick-up and drop off Minimum 1 night up to 7 (exceptions considered) Your place: All visits, number and size of pups as well as your location are considered after an on-site meet and greet. I will provide your fur babies with all my attention, love and care! Please see my reviews from past clients. Your fur baby will be treated as if my own. About: Caring, reliable, and experienced pet parent of a happy and lively 13-year-old male Papillon (retired champion show dog!). I have open availability in my schedule throughout the week. I would love to start taking care of new clients in Albuquerque. I especially love taking my furry friends for fun-filled long walks or having an impromptu photo shoot at your home to show off your pet. I'm comfortable with young, active pups and kittens as well as senior dogs and cats who require medication or other extra care for individual needs. I believe in creating a personalized experience for each animal, based on their preferences, activity level, and health. When I housesit, I am happy to include additional services beyond pet care, such as bringing in the mail and packages, watering plants, bringing the garbage and recycling cans around, and alternating lights to ensure it looks like someone is around while you are out of town. I have many years of experience walking dogs and pet-sitting overnight in my former hometown of Austin, TX, as well as in the Washington, DC area, with many highly satisfied repeat clients. I would be happy to have a meet and greet with you and your dog or cat (or rabbit or birds) to discuss more details! I have plenty of time to play with your pets! I have a flexible schedule. I am available throughout the day and on weekends and holidays. If you'd like me to provide some socialization for your small dog while I'm walking them, we can see if our pets get along first. I only care for one household's pets at a time. Let me know the pet rules for your home (if fur babies can sit on the bed or what else might be off limits to them). I am very careful to properly harness dogs when taking them outside. Your pet will never be left unattended while in my care.
“Michael was very helpful and accommodating. I believe he did his best with Rocco to keep him occupied. Rocco has separation anxiety, but Michael made the efforts to gain his trust in a limited timeframe. We were very appreciative with his services!”

“Onrae agreed to watch my dogs on short notice. He was extremely flexible and good at communicating throughout their stay with him. They were both happy to see him again the next time they went!”

About: I have had animals my whole life, and have worked in the pet industry for 6 years. My day job experience has been at 2 different local pet food stores, where I’ve learned a lot about the needs of dogs and cats, as well as body language. My old job had foster cats, so I have experience taking care of up to 10 cats at a time (feeding, litter cleaning, meds, and playtime). I also have pet sat for many of my friends and family members. I love walking! I enjoy taking my own dog on short walks or really long walks to get his energy out. I have experience with high energy dogs that may pull or not be comfortable around other dogs or people. I also have experience with puppies and kittens, and special needs pets. I’ve owned 2 disabled dogs that required diaper changes, meds, and regular bathing and cleaning up after them. I am currently going to school full time at UNM. My schedule is pretty flexible though, and I am willing to work with you! I can come before, in between, or after class and on weekends! I will always want to come meet you and your pet before I start the service. I will take notes on everything so I can keep your pet on their routine, no matter how specific. I want to make you and your pet 100% comfortable! I am experienced with reading body language with pets, so I can tell if your pet is too overwhelmed or nervous. I also love sending updates, including photos and videos, to let you know how your fur baby is doing!
About: I have cared for an array of animals over the years including dogs, cats, reptiles, chickens and even pet rats! I deeply enjoy time spent with animals which is why housesitting has always been ideal for me! I myself have multiple dogs and cats that are well cared for and your animals will receive the same attention and care! I am a student at UNM, so most morning I do have to head to campus around 9-10 am. All morning care would be handled before then. My classes have me on campus no longer than 4-5 hours before I would be able to check on your animals. Weekends I work 6-9 hour shifts, but if care requires less gaps between visits this time can be taken off to give your pets around the clock care. This would require at minimum 2 weeks notice and cannot be guaranteed. I am comfortable giving pill or liquid medication for your pets. As well as walking any size dog as long as some leash training is in place. I normally will wash the sheets and towels used if staying overnight! I am very cleanly and will leave your home and pets clean or cleaner than when yall left!
About: I’ve owned three dogs throughout my life. Being able to care for your pets bring me so much joy! Family and friends always have me look after their pets when they go on vacation! Respecting all privacy!
About: We had a senior dog that was getting close to 16 so I'm fine with doing a bunch of little extra things for their food. I have never administered medication or done any dog training I have school from 8:15 to 1:35 and on wensdays it's 8:15 to 11:25. On weekends there's not much going on so my schedule is pretty open for whatever is needed. I have plenty of experience with tricking animals with food. Most of my time is spent petting them but I'm happy to play with them or take them on walks.
About: I have owned dogs all of my life and understand that they are family members and should be treated as such! I love all dogs from big to small and young to old. While I do not have any pets of my own right now, I would love to help care for yours whether it be feeding, walking, playing, loving on them or more. I am currently off for the summer leaving me plenty of time to care for your pets. From August to May, I work 2 days a week so I will still have plenty of availability. Just let me know their daily routine and I can accommodate.
About: I have grown up with dogs all my life, from Yorkies to German Shepherds. Providing the love and care to other dogs while you’re away is my priority! To give you the peace of mind your fur baby is both physically and mentally stimulated during our time together. I am very active, love going on hikes and finding new parks in the area! I am in the end of my surgical residency making my schedule relatively flexible. While I am unable to have a dog of my own full time, I can care and love for others in the mean time!

“Misty, our German Shepherd had a great time running around at Jessie’s for 5 days. Jessie did a great job of keeping us informed with daily updates and pictures of the dogs having fun. Thank you again!”

“The experience was great for both my baby and me. We got to meet her before and I felt really secure Mochi was happy and I was sure I made the right choice. I got updates throughout the day and pictures which I loved. I would definitely use her service again I recommend her.”

“Chad provides a safe environment! My dog got along with his dog right away, which doesn’t always happen. The dogs have a great big backyard to play in, they don’t go for walks normally. Mentioning because if you want that you need to talk to Chad to arrange it. Chad agreed not to crate my dog which is good because he hasn’t been in a crate in years, and Max seems in good health when I picked him up, moved pretty good for a senior dog.”

“Jamie & Patrick H were absolutely wonderful with my dogs while I was away. This was my first time using Rover, and they made the entire experience easy and stress-free from start to finish. They took excellent care of my pups and communicated with me every day, sending updates that really helped put my mind at ease while I was away . It was clear my dogs were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I will definitely be booking with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and caring sitters.”

“Brandi and family were amazing! We left our 5 month old puppy with them for the first time, and for 10 days! He came home more well behaved than we left him, and happy and healthy, of course. I can't believe it! When we left, he was biting (playfully, but still) and we come home, and he's just giving kisses and coming when we call him! I think we found the miracle dog sitter!”

“My dog Ariel had a very good stay at Mike’s. She is usually scared of men and prone to separation anxiety. She felt right at home with Mike! Communication with him was easy, his home is great to host and the neighborhood seems safe for dog walks. I would trust him with my precious companion again!”

“Emily and her family were absolutely wonderful with Mr. Elwood. She was incredibly communicative, providing daily photos and status updates that kept my mind at ease. When Mr. Elwood faced some minor challenges, Emily handled them with grace and expertise, ensuring he remained safe and happy throughout. I’m so grateful for their support during my business travels. Highly recommended!”

“We are grateful we found Doug to care for our Ruby. He took her on daily walks and provided us with frequent updates and pictures. He even took her on a hike to the Sandias! It was as if she went on a vacation too! He was also very flexible with scheduling which we so appreciated. Thanks again!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for our puppy. They provided excellent care, kept us updated, and made sure our puppy felt safe, comfortable, and loved while we were away. It was clear that they genuinely cared and treated our puppy like one of their own. We came home to a happy, healthy pup and would absolutely trust them again in the future. Highly recommended!”
