About: Updated 7/26. I have a great amount of experience with dogs & many animals. I have been taking care of mostly dogs for 9 years now. I have experience with horses and cows as well. I professionally boarded dogs in my past homes in Hawaii and Washington, d.c. I made bonds with dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, & genders. I always adapt to each dog as they are unique. I am always striving to make them as comfy & stress free as possible in my care. I also enjoy living an active lifestyle & seeing a dogs smile while on a walk adds to my day. I like to make dogs feel as though they are on vacation, yet I enforce what my clients do in their own homes to maintain. I understand last minute things come up. If there is a time where we are not able to meet, I will ask questions about your animal through Rover. I am comfortable asking questions & you answering them honestly over message before drop off. We can also Facetime or Zoom if you would like to and/or prefer. About: I grew up with 4 types of dogs big and small. When I was 9 I babysat my neighbor cat and dog . I learned to be more responsible with animals. I'm currently a part-time sitter due to my illness, my schedule changes depending on doctor's appointments for the month so I will be changing my calendar when I have days off my dialysis days are Monday Wednesday Friday from 11:45am-3:45pm im available for check in and dog walks before and after those times. I live in a 2-2 house no roommates. My neighborhood is quite. Plenty of hiking trails near the area. Also pets are allowed on the furniture.

About: Loves pets more than people, attentive and loving dog mama to a happy golden lab. Always the one to stay at home with the pets. Stay at home mama with an open schedule, big house perfect for animals. Loving family oriented environment. Happy to watch houses, drop in to let animals out, daily walks. Big house, animals are allowed indoor and outdoor, access to a large doggy door. Plenty of treats. When going to clients it is most important to follow directions and leave the animals a little better then you find them.

About: I’ve been lucky enough to build relationships with returning Rover clients, and I’m always happy when people trust me to care for their pets again. I’ve never met a pet-care challenge I couldn’t find a solution to. Every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I’m patient and willing to figure out what works best for them. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, livestock, and critters of all ages, sizes, and personalities, including experience working at an animal hospital where I cared for boarding animals, newborn puppies and kittens, and pets who needed a little extra patience and attention. My work shifts are generally around 6 hours, and my schedule varies from week to week. I’m happy to work with you ahead of time to find dates and times that work for both of us. I’m also available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting depending on my schedule. I do my best to give every pet plenty of attention rather than rushing through visits. If your pet has a specific routine, feeding schedule, medication, or other needs, I’m happy to work around it and keep their normal routine as consistent as possible. Because my availability can change week to week, please message me before booking so I can confirm that I’m available for the dates and times you need! When caring for pets, whether in my home or a client's, I prioritize a safe and structured environment tailored to each pet's individual needs. In client homes, I am trusted with overnight stays and have consistently managed multiple animals without any issues, ensuring they are comfortable, secure, and well-cared-for in their familiar surroundings. In my own home, I adhere to a disciplined routine, particularly with dogs, to maintain a sense of order and security. This includes scheduled feeding times, walks, and play sessions, which helps in managing their energy levels and maintaining their health. My cat, Beans, enjoys a more flexible routine, which suits her independent nature. She's free to set her own pace throughout the day, though I ensure her needs for interaction and care are met. Overall, my approach is based on respect, patience, and attentiveness to the unique personality and requirements of each pet, ensuring they feel loved and at ease under my care.

About: Hi, my name is Sam. I am in the Albuquerque area and would be happy to help you with your pets. I have tons of experience with animals including volunteering for cat adoption days with PACA, rehoming abandoned animals, petsitting special needs animals, fostering, agility and show dog training, and behavioral training with dogs. I also have a passion for my fish hobby :) due to this app being a little odd with keeping a lot of our pay lets discuss on our own time a good solid plan ahead with your furry friend that way everyone is happy :) I am available in the afternoons up to the early evenings. However, I can make an exception for some early morning check-ins or walks. Just feel free to ask first! Because I work from home, I am more flexible when it comes to extended periods of pet-sitting as long as I have a quiet place to work. Whatever instructions and guidance I am given I am happy to respect and adhere to those rules when it comes to being in someone else's space or if they are coming to my house. In my own home, it is calm, quiet, with a gated area in the back patio with a garden. The animals are free to move about in the house. I do not have a backyard per se but the back patio is a decent size and secure for dogs to do their business and relax for a bit. I do not have animals of my own at the moment.
