While I do not have any pets of my own right now, I would love to help care for yours whether it be feeding, walking, playing, loving on them or more. About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life from german shepherds to dachshunds . The only time I can recall not having a dog was the first couple years in the Navy because I was out to sea so much. I love dogs of all sizes! I currently have a 10 year old weimaraner of my own Ari. So your precious pup will have someone to play with while staying with me. I take my own dog on walks/hikes, to dog park, runs, and swimming when we can find water for her. For being in Navy veteran and nurse, I am responsible and will take good care of your pup. Plus, there is vet not even .25 miles from home, if something where to go array which is not likely. About: I can stay at your home or I can board your pets at my home (boarding only if you have small lap dogs). For boarding, I keep your pets indoors with our pets in our personal living space so your pets should be clean, house-broken, and tolerant of children. We have a very clean home with mostly red brick tile throughout (except for the bedrooms which have white carpet). We have a small doggie door which enters into a small fenced area (4'x12') for self-potty breaks while we are at work (if your dogs know how to use a doggie door). We can also close this door if your dog is an escape artist. Our home is located in the east mountains off the Zuzax exit (about 15 minutes from Tramway Blvd). We both work (I have summers off) so we come to Albuquerque every day via I-40 and would be happy to pick up your pet at a meeting location if the drive is a pain for you. We have a huge horse barn and several acres as our backyard. We have a mini-horse, three mini goats, three chickens, two small dogs, and a cat. Why is my rate so reasonable you ask? Because we don't do this to make a living. Getting to care for other peoples furry children brings much happiness & joy to our lives too. If it was a pain in the rear, we'd charge much much more. About my yard: We have a huge backyard (5 acres), some areas are fenced some are not. If your dogs are diggers, I'd worry that they might get into the chicken coop or the goat area. We do not want to host large outdoor dogs at this time, until we get proper sturdy fencing around the entire property. We are currently only hosting indoor lap dogs at this time. My experience administering medication: Yes, I will administer medication (including shots) unless a dog bites or gets squirrely. I accommodate your pets needs around my work schedule. In the Fall or Spring I occasionally have my teenagers sports events or meets to attend. I treat you pets like my own and if I’m caring for your pets in my own home they will be included in my regular life, living room time (sunning windows, movie nights on the couch, etc), grass time, playtime, sleep time, etc.

George is the sweetest dog ever but his escapism has been problematic. James has been his life saver while I am at work, and has provided George playmates and activity throughout the day. “Charles was extremely professional and responsible and he took EXCELLENT care of my lab, Tamale, with the help of his dog, Shiso. He sent regular pictures of their walks, the dogs playing together in the yard together, cuddling for naps, and having meals and snacks- it was obvious she was in good hands. Tamale had a wonderful time, was thoroughly exhausted and most importantly, she was VERY well cared for. I felt so fortunate to find such a warm, wonderful home in my neighborhood with a kind human and his family to look after my girl while I worked and my husband was out of town. About: I grew up around dogs and cats my entire life. I currently have three dogs and three cats along with plenty of other animals. I've watched pets for friends and family and I've fostered dogs while I found good homes for them. **PLEASE READ COMPLETELY THROUGH** I'm available for part time but will still have plenty of time to watch over pets. About: I am a former zookeeper and I have a couple of years experience in veternary care. I’ve had animals of all kinds my entire life. I live with my husband and we both love spending time with animals. I work for the film industry and would love to pet sit your pet while I’m in between jobs. Productions have slowed down a lot over the past few years, so I have time currently. I have a larger fenced in yard that can actually be divided into 2 separate yards. Pets are allowed on our furniture and encouraged to sleep in the bedroom with us at night.
About: Since I was a child my family had always had different kind of pets. Not only am I expedited with taking car or animals I am also excited I just graduated college so I do not have any other job. I and available 24/7 this summer for pet care. About: I've been taking care of my dogs/cats since I could walk. Started walking the neighborhood dogs at 14 and everyone loved it. I would house sit, including bathes and any medicine, for everyone's dogs when they needed me to. I will be a full time student and have a full time job. However I plan to be able to walk dogs between school and my job everyday if I can. I can be available weekends during the day. Tues through Thurs nights are my nights off and I will be at to stay at the house as long as needed for whatever care is needed those days after class. I unfortunately can't host pets due to living in an apartment. I will make sure your pets get enough enrichment, exercise, and cuddles/pets. I will be willing to bathe and or medicate animals if needed. I will clean up after the animal. I regularly take care of an elderly dog who gets medications twice a day and have experience with medicating cats as well. I work a full time job and do full time school. I will be able to check on any dogs before school and between place as well as after work. Fridays through Sunday I don't work until evening so I can spend all day taking care of your pets. I won't be able to host due to living in an apartment. I will play with your dogs including just running around the yard with them if you have one. Make sure they are properly fed and always have plenty of water. And of course make sure they get snuggles if they want to.

My initial thought was he was missing me and home. And because of his age, I believe he got disoriented and lost and couldn't identify where he was at.
