Adrienne was an excellent sitter/walker for my hyperactive Brittany. He needs his walks in foothills daily and Adrienne was prompt with her arrivals and always provided a cute photo of my pup enjoying his walk. This really put me at ease for my first trip away from my dog. I would highly recommend Adrienne for your sitter/walker needs!

She handled my miscreant kitties beautifully (they get to go outside and sometimes don’t come in when planned but this was not an issue with Shelly)! I returned home to happy cats and that’s what it’s all about.

About: I lost my sixteen-year-old fur baby in October, 2018 and find myself missing that special energy only pets can bring. I have been caring for various pets for my friends and family for about 20 years and have done drop ins and overnight visits. I do have a full-time 8-5:30, Monday-Friday (and many Saturdays) job however, and am not available to provide constant care for pets. I do have more than enough time to devote myself to the love and care of your fur baby. In my home, in my life, dogs and cats are family and deserve the same love, care, and respect that human beings deserve. Perhaps more. While I have more experience with dogs I haven’t met a cat I couldn’t win over. Rest assured that if you place the care of your beloved pets in my hands they will be well loved while you are out of town. Your home will be cared for as well. I do have a “regular” 8 am to 5 pm job. My evenings and nights are free. Weekends are also more flexible for me when it comes to spending quality time with your baby. I am not able to provide constant care. I live in an apartment complex so I am more than happy to visit your fur baby in their own environment. I want to make sure your pets are as comfortable as possible so I’d prefer to maintain the schedule and comfort they’re used to.

About: My name Christina, I have been around pets all my life. My daughter has been doing Rover for over 6 years and she absolutely loves it! So, I decided to sign up! When my daughter was moving back from Alabama to New Mexico, I took care of her cat and dog for about 3 weeks. I fed them, walked her dog and gave them plenty of love until she returned. I am fully vaccinated for Covid. My schedule fluctuates because I have a part time job and the hours vary. So, we can talk about the schedule prior to booking. I would love to take care of your fur babies because I would treat them like my grand babies like my daughters babies and give lots of loving and care while you are away. My daughters fur babies & their personalities: She cat and a dog. Tucker is the most laid back cat you will ever meet. You can literally carry him like a baby. He is great for introducing dogs that have never met cats before. **Please be mindful though, if your dog does not like cats. Please please please let me know that when you message me.* Yoshi is the only dog. Yoshi is a Shiba Inu who loves loves loves to play! I got Yoshi about 6 years ago. My pets are fully vaccinated and gets flee medication once a month. He is neutered. Yoshi, is a Shiba and if you know anything about Shiba's they can have temperamental personalities. Yoshi gets along with other dogs but on his time. He does not like over dominate/ over aggressive dogs. If your dog displays that, please be mindful, honest and upfront about the dynamics. Your animals are top priority when it comes to safety as well as my daughter animals. Cancellation Policy: If you book a stay with me. You will have 3-days before the start of the stay to cancel to get a full refund. If you cancel after the 3-days, you will be refunded 50% of the stay. The the 3-day policy in place, because I value your time and mine as well. I understand when unforeseen things happen. When I commit to booking with you, I decline all other bookings if the other booking dates conflict with your booking date to ensure that your animals will receive the best care. Leaving our cats and dog with someone new made me nervous, but Luca completely exceeded my expectations. Luca came for a meet-and-greet beforehand and asked questions about our cats and dog's routine. Luca sent multiple photos daily, giving total peace of mind. I highly recommend and will absolutely booking again.

About: My partner and I own a house in Cedar Crest on a quiet dead-end road with a fenced yard, dog door and nearby access to hiking trails. I work from home, so I am available for fetch and belly rubs all day! We have a lovely fenced in yard which is great for fetch or playing. We currently have a 12 year old male golden retriever who is great with other dogs. We also have a 7 year old female Bernese Mountain dog who is an adorably lazy playmate, and 3 year old female rescue Berner who has more energy. We also have an indoor/outdoor cat who gets along with dogs well. I have been pet sitting on Rover off and on for about 10 years in both Nevada and Oregon and have cared for our friends and neighbors dogs since moving to New Mexico. I work full-time from home, so I'm almost always at home with my animals and yours! Our daily routine revolves around our dogs, and yours. We have a fenced yard with dog door access to the house. Since I work from home, I am readily available to walk, feed or pet any dog who asks for it. We let our dogs on the furniture and bed but can easily adjust if needed.

About: Hi! I’m a caring, patient, and dependable pet lover. Since becoming an adult, I’ve been a devoted cat owner, and caring for my cat has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding that every pet has their own unique personality. After my husband and I started our family, we welcomed our own dog into our home. Caring for both a dog and a cat every day has given me hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playtime, basic grooming, cleaning up after pets, and recognizing different behaviors and needs. My husband is a retired U.S. Air Force veteran, and together we have built a stable, loving, and pet-friendly home. We understand that trusting someone else with your beloved pet is a big decision, and we take that responsibility seriously. Our goal is to provide a safe, calm, and comfortable environment where every pet feels loved and at home. I believe pets are family, and I will always follow your instructions carefully to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. Whether it’s feeding schedules, daily walks, playtime, or administering medication when needed, I’ll make sure your pet receives the attention and care they deserve. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates, so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind, knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. Because I believe every pet deserves individualized attention, I only accept the number of pets that I can safely and responsibly care for. My priority is always providing quality care—not just supervision. I would be honored to care for your furry family member as if they were one of my own. I look forward to meeting you and your pet! I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide attentive and reliable care for your pet. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, daycare, or boarding, I make sure every pet gets the time, exercise, and attention they need. I respond to messages promptly and will do my best to accommodate your preferred schedule whenever possible. My husband and I have a stable, pet-friendly home where pets are treated like family. We currently have one friendly dog and one cat, so I’m experienced in caring for animals with different personalities and routines. I always follow each owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, and any special care requests. I introduce pets thoughtfully, prioritize their comfort and safety, and provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident while you’re away.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life (over 20 years of experience) and I love both cats and dogs! I trained my dogs to do tricks and potty trained them as well. I do well with dogs and cats of all ages and activity levels. I have two senior dogs and one young dog full of energy. I’m currently in school full-time and will have plenty of time to spend time with your pets! I am available during weekdays and weekends from 7am to 6pm. I have three dogs of varying ages and activity levels who do well together on walks. I am good at controlling them when they see other dogs on a walk and have extra harnesses for your pup just in case.

About: I have grown up with animals all my life. I had 2 dogs and 2 cats growing up and I currently have a German Shepard, Weiner dog, and 2 flat faced cats. I also have experience taking care of fish and reptiles. I just moved to ABQ from Atlanta. I love animals and would love to continue taking care of them out here. I am free for drop in visits or house sitting. I would be able to drop by your house, feed the dogs and take them out to play and use the restroom. As for my own dogs, I train them myself with no shock collar or crate.

Alexandria went above and beyond! She took the time to play fetch with my pup and even cleaned up all the poop from my yard which she by had do. I was so happy to come home to a clean yard and my doggo completely crashed and calm. She clearly has a very high work ethic and a love for people and animals that is hard to find these days. Highly highly recommend! Thank you Alexandria!

Laura was absolutely incredible! She treated my animals like her own, followed my instructions to a T (because one of my cats takes meds), used the Rover card daily with detailed updates and plenty of cute photos, and showed my cats plenty of love when I was away and unable to. She was phenomenal and I will absolutely be using her again in the future!

As of August 2026, there are 886 sitters on Rover offering Pet Sitting across Cedar Crest. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Cedar Crest stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Cedar Crest. On Rover:

  • 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 94% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
